My job requires me to travel and I was in Weaverville NC and needed to get my tires checked and rotated. I lived in Asheville NC for years and had been coming here before I relocated too far away to make it my go-to tires shop. I have known the owner during this time and had always had a pleasant experience with him in the past several years but unfortunately, this time was not one of them. After having my tires done I started having an issue with my driver's side the tire started shaking and with me driving back and forth this was a big concern. The following week I made a special trip back to Asheville and went inside and spoke with the girl who was running the front desk and explained to her my problem. I was in disbelief when she accused me of not ever being there and had not gotten my tires serviced the week before. I had to show my personal bank account and where I had paid for their service the week before. She was very rude and unprofessional. I felt attacked and disrespected that I had to go through this after I had been coming there for several years. It wasn't a pleasant experience. I deal with the public daily and would be fired if I had treated anyone like she had me. The owner did apologize for her behavior and lack of customer service but it only takes one unpleasant experience to lose a faithful customer and unfortunately, I won't be giving my tire needs to this business anymore. I hope some kind of retraining will maybe help his front desk worker but I don't think he should continue to have her working there he is taking a big risk of losing more customers. I know we all have bad days but that is no way to treat a loyal customer. I do wish him all the best.Mr. Mchone

this tire shop functions well in some ways, but the woman at the front desk is consistently rude to me and I have to say something here.I had an appointment to change one tire on my truck(preordered tire). I arrived nearly on time and didn't get my truck back for over 1.5 hours. My wheel gave them some trouble, so I can forgive the service people, but to have the added indignity of (yet again) being treated by the receptionist as though I am an inconvenience and never acknowledging the uncomfortably long time for what should have been a very quick operation.I have given this tire shop over 2k$ in the last 4 or 5 years. I don't think I can do it anymore. :( unless the receptionist quits or changes and the owner expresses an apology for her.

Received outstanding service at Weaverville Tire & Wheel. The staff was incredibly friendly, and I was impressed by how efficiently they handled my tire replacement. I was in and out of there in no time!

Replaced my locking lug nuts with rusted lug nuts. I got tires back in June and the lady at the front desk is never very friendly fine.. I called a couple of times to check and was told they were having trouble getting my locking lug nuts off. When I got the car back they had replaced three of them with rounded and rusted lug nuts. I didn t notice until I got a flat tire last night and was unable to get the wheel of and had to get towed. When I showed the lady at the front desk the pictures of my lug nuts she denied and talked to the guy in the back and said they would have never done that. No one else has touched my car and it had locking lug nuts when I brought it in. I should have inspected my car more closely before leaving the parking lot. Never trust liars who don t take responsibility for their mistakes.

Had to replace 2 flats. Technicians spent more time banging out and destroying my cheap lugs than it would have taken to remove them by hand as any normal shop would do. They then charged me $20 for the lugs that they negligently broke.Confirmed on the other side afterwards that it would have taken less than half the time to do it by hand without destroying lugs. They didn't so much as ask for confirmation before I heard them banging my lugs. Tech also gave me a quip of "be glad I didn't charge you extra for doing that all out in the cold."

I went to have new tires put on the front of my car. They did not follow my instructions on the tires to be replaced and I had to have them fix it. After leaving the shop I noticed my tires making funny noises. After further inspection my wheel bearings have gone bad on the front wheels at the same time, immediately after leaving the shop. I will not be taking my vehicle to this establishment ever agian. I do not trust them to fix my vehicle.

This business did a tire rotation a my Ford Transit Van. They failed to check and adjust tire PSI. They left me driving with 67 psi pressure in the front tires and 45 PSI on the back tires instead of the manufacturer recommended tire pressure. Fortunately I had the tire pressure checked due to the van feeling different during turns and we discovered their mistake, hopefully before damage was done.

I needed to get my tires balanced and rotated. The shop was 5 minutes away from my home. Went there just set an appointment and they said they can do it right now, and had me in and out in 20 minutes. Definitely use their services again.

Told them I was on a tight budget and they were so accommodating! Accidentally showed up way too early and they got me in so fast and staff was super friendly. So happy and will definitely be a loyal customer

Needed a wheel rebalancing and got my tires rotated instead. Not a big deal except for when my tire fell off while I was driving because my lug nuts weren't tightened enough. (Luckily nobody got hurt and I was able to pull over quick enough.) I go back to the shop and the owner was nice enough, they ordered me a new wheel and put it back on about a week later. Mistakes happen, I am not upset with the owner. However, the receptionist woman is extremely unprofessional. I had to call her 3 times to get my car back in the shop for them to fix my wheel. I was told she would call me, but never did. She was always short with me and never once called back. The service of this place is fine, but I would avoid it because at least in my experience the receptionist lady is not going to do her job no matter the circumstances.

My experience here has always been positive. My wait time has always been very short, but I'm always in early. They open at 8 am and I like that. The staff is always pretty friendly, for men, and they do a great job. For the most part they are always busy which is why I like early. They will tend to your need as a walk in, but they do by appointment as well.

Fantastic Service! They helped me while traveling and fixed my tire and charged me a more than fair price! I would drive to NC just to buy my next set of tires!

OIL CHANGE WEAVERVILLE: I requested recommendation on this platform recently for this. I got in response the 1) Shell station next to Publix - sat in line with several other cars for a while, no one came out to talk to us - no way to go inside and ask what to do; and 2) Valvoline: which is $79 for an oil change for a Honda Fit - car the size of a shoebox. Went to Weaverville Wheel and Tire; 176 Mars Hill Hwy - they did all of the following: 1) Told me I didn't need an oil change and showed me why; 2) Checked all my fuses to be sure okay; 3) Checked all my fluids and put some oil in; 4) Showed me how to check my oil (dip stick weird on this car). Charge: $0. I would like to highly recommend this business

Always friendly, honest, and helpful. They actually do the work they get paid for. Unlike some shops I have been to that charged me for the work, but didn't do it, and kept my new parts that I bought myself. I love going to this place!

As always best service. Went in for an alignment and shad found safety issues and showed real concern. Took time to explain everything and even gave me a ride back home. Got a call that afternoon and everything was taken care of. Love that there was more desire to make sure my family was safe than to try and make a buck. Service was awesome and price is best too. Definitely going back year after year. Thanjs guys.

I'm really surprised there aren't more comments about the desk person being rude. Last time I needed tires I went there. Tires and job were fine. No issues at all but the desk person was a royal b. Decided to give them another try. Called today about a service and the desk person was, again, short, kind of rude, and it seemed like I was an annoyance to her. I don't really like being treated that way and I don't want to go in to receive more of it. Looking elsewhere.

I ve not bought tires from anywhere except Weaverville Tire since they opened the doors. And I won t.I ve bought tires, Fuel wheels, had a leveling kit installed on my truck, had brakes done there, etc.You name it, they do it, they ve got it, or they can get it.This is a business owned by a man of integrity, who is from the community, lives in the community still, and supports local athletics and folks in the community.Do not look elsewhere! This is your one-stop shop for all of your vehicle s needs.

Very upset at this place! Went in for an inspection on my car two people ahead of me paid 13.60 for their inspections I was charged 30! They said it was because I lived in Buncombe County yet the last two years I have lived in Buncombe and only been charged 13.60. I went there because my fiance started taking his truck there and I thought we should keep our business LOCAL! If you are going to charge people different prices then you should tell them upfront! I will not be back. To me if you are deceptive in small things I dont trust you with larger ones. I am very disappointed and wish I had gone to my regular guy. This is my experience and opion. Go there if you want but be sure to double check their pricing. I am reaching out to the state as I want to understand how they get to charge me over double. AND ITS NOT BECAUSE I LIVE IN BUNCOMBE!

I don't write reviews very often, but I simply had to for Weaverville Tire. The customer service was excellent. Very fast and friendly service. I've already forgotten about my usual go-to shop and will be taking all of my vehicles here from now on. If you need tires, inspections, etc., I HIGHLY recommend going to Weaverville Tire. You won't be disappointed.

I came in for an oil change, tire rotation, and to have my brakes changed. I was told they were too busy to change my brakes and that I would need to make an appointment, so I did. I showed up two weeks later at my scheduled time, said why I was there, and was told they would get started. They then spent the next three and a half hours helping every other person that walked in off the street instead of working on my car. When I finally got my car back, and paid a nearly $400 bill, I was told that they had killed my battery and that I should leave it running for a while so it wouldn't die on me again. They also ruined my passenger seat with grease and motor oil. And to top it all off, when I got home and took a closer look at my invoice, I saw that they never even changed my brakes out at all, so they spent three and a half hours - and charged me almost $400 - for nothing but a tire rotation and an oil change. The entire experience was inexcusable and unprofessional.

If there were a ten star rating, I would give it to them. Took my truck in today and they fixed it quickly and at a very reasonable price. I thought I would be tied up half the day, but Shad, the owner, said they would get me fixed up quickly and they did, getting me out in an hour. Really nice people.

If you want to take your vehicle somewhere where all your gonna get is a run around, sold parts you don't need and charged for it all while returning more than 4 times for the same repairs to get resolved/Not, why your out a vehicle for monthes getting answers that the chevy dealer that fixed it verified were all lies, lies, and more lies, then weaverville tire is the place for you! Good luck- this is the kind of place no community needs! Hope this saves someone the 2800$ experience I received.

I have only had positive experiences with Weaverville Tire and Wheel. Shad is a good man and I trust him to give me the right price on good tires. You are going to have to search hard to find somebody more honest and hardworking than these folks. Lots of people trust them and Weaverville and Beyond and I don't know why you wouldn't either. Support local business say away from the big tire shops that's my opinion anyway!

This is the only place I go to get my tires. I've been going here about 3 years now, you can also get inspections there I've had them fix my brakes. Jeffrey is great he is the lead man there and he always fits me in and is quick and thorough. It is owned by Shad Higgins the guy running for Buncombe County Sheriff right now
