They did a lot to help me in a pinch. They were responsive, professional and got me back on the road safely. I noticed several other locals were in and out while I was waiting. Two people who who knew each other chatted about how they'd both been coming here for years. That gave me extra peace of mind to know the community locals see this as a trusted mechanic shop. We will return for future repairs. I had a great experience. They replaced the brakes and rotors on my 2021 Subaru.

I was five hours away from home stranded on the side of the road. I didn t know the area and didn t know who could fix it. I called these guys and they said bring it in. A coupe hours later and they had me back on the road. They dropped everything to help me. I highly recommend them!!!!

I am traveling (an hour from home) and a transmission connection sprung a leak. Two other places wouldn t even look at it and said get it towed . Jason said we will fit you in somehow . Bless this place. Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

A business with absolutely no integrity, that can t even be bothered to return a voicemail. After taking our work vehicle there just to have the heat to be fixed, the next day the engine overheated & we had to have it towed back- they said something was loose (APPARENTLY no fault of there own .despite them literally just working in that area..) charged us $600 to fix their obvious mistake. Whatever, we pay it, just want it to be over.But that s not even the icing on the cake.Go to pick it up- didn t even make it out of their lot! The reverse suddenly goes out in the transmission ..we re then told Aw, that s just bad luck. Typically that s the first to go out in them fords, we ll take another look at it for ya and make sure it isn t a sylanoid or something . Ok. Called us back a week later- it ll be $1,500 for a new transmission- we say absolutely not we ll come pick it up.We go to pick it up .don t make it half a mile down the dang road before black smoke starts rolling out of the car like it s about to explode. Luckily we made it back to park the car.For what was a simple heater fix- turned into spending $1,200, for a car that is now no longer drivable that s been in one location- their shop.And now, we re stuck paying the tow bill out of their lot. If you value your money and your car, stay the heck away from this place.Service: Auto maintenance

I had to make an appointment several days in advance, so I assumed this was a well organized place. When I arrived, the looks of the place made me a little skeptical, then I walked in to the tiny, cramped office, and the man was not welcoming at all. He took my info, then walked to the back leaving me standing there. When he came back, he said, "can I help you?" I asked what happens next. He said they would get to it when they could. I walked out confused, and decided to take my car and leave. I guess they have enough business that they don't have to worry about customer service.Service: Painting

I love these mechanics! I have taken my car here 4 times and every time they repair it with minimal cost. I have an 11 year old car and 3 out of 4 of my visits were less than 100$. They are super friendly and kind every time I talk to them. It is such a good feeling to work with a mechanic that you can really trust!

I took my Wrangler in for some diagnostic work. They had it done in less than a day even though they were shorthanded due to snowy/icy roads. They gave me an honest assessment of the issue and I avoided unnecessary (for now) work. Didn't cost much at all for their evaluation.I'll definitely come back for future work.

I never leave reviews but this place deserves 5 stars, especially Fred. He went above and beyond to help me and was over all one of the most friendly and most kind people I have met in a long time. Was recommended here by a good friend and I would totally recommend anyone to come here. Fred listened to all of my concerns and was beyond caring and helpful. If you get a chance, check Jason s out for excellent customer service and car care.

This shop impressed me in more ways than one. Everywhere else gave me a quote either much more expensive or had me waiting 2+ weeks. They got me in the very next day and ordered the part that I thought I might need before even seeing my vehicle so that they could get me in and out as quickly as possible. They did a great job. Great prices. Great customer service.

Will is wonderfully competent. He resolved the issue in question, and answered my other vehicle questions, I will feel ready when the next maintenance issue emerges from my 2002 sedan with 155,00 miles..., and still going strong. Thank you Jason's

Not sure what to think of this place yet. I had one experience that was good - needed an inspection that was tricky and they helped me out and did it legally and it was great. But another experience left me wondering if i can trust them in the future: I called and scheduled an engine coolant flush. When they were done, he handed me the key and told me that my Prius has two coolant systems and so he flushed both. Problem was, I had already had the other system flushed very recently, and I specifically asked for only an "engine coolant" flush, not an inverter coolant flush. Even thought this "only" cost me 30 extra bucks, I really felt the blow on my grocery bill - I'm a college student, working part time. I wouldn't recommend them just yet. So for this point, maybe I'll give them one more shot.

Jason is the best around when I have something go over my head with the Buick. Prices aren't excessive and they are proficient and timely. Good to know I can still count on Jason, cause I've known him since he was a Service Tech at Merrimon Avenue Exxon!I recommend them very much!

I had a minor injury on my car. The guy there was really nice and offered a very reasonable price for replacing the part. He fixed my car in about a week, and even offered to touch up a few scratches at no extra charge. It looks really nice now. I highly recommend this place, especially if you live near UNCA.

Took my mom's car in a few weeks ago for an oil change and rotation. I was driving it today and steering felt a bit different. Realized the the wider drive tires had both been put on the front. Ran by the shop to ask them to switch them back. Something that should take about 5 min. They said they couldn't do it that day but I could make an appointment. Since I am working the next day, soonest I could get it done was in a week. Fact is they shouldn't have made this mistake in the first place. And they should have corrected it when I brought it back in. Make an appointment for them to fix a mistake that should take no more than a few minutes. It will take me quite a bit longer with my tiny bottle jack and a lug wrench.Services: Tires, Oil change

I had run over some large rocks the day before and the gay I went in, I noticed that something was now hanging from beneath my car. I needed an inspection. And my check engine light had been on for 2 months. Turns out they said that they just cut away part of the plastic of the I don't know what to call it - the underneath shield barrier, and nailed or screwed it back in place. They inspected the car. And they got the check engine light to go off. The mechanic told me that the check engine light had simply not been turned off when the last guy whom ever because it wasn't from there, I had forgotten to turn it off. Anyway, they were timely, friendly, and decently priced. My total was $74 and some change. They are my go-to place for car repairs and inspections.

Fred was awesome to deal with. Very concerned for my well being, very reasonably priced and flexible about getting my side view mirror installed. Cannot say enough good things about Jason's Auto Care and Fred.

I had moved to the area a few months earlier than my visit and had received a mailer for an oil change special (my vehicle requires full synthetic oil). I called and specifically said "I got this mailer that is expired but kept it because I knew I would need to come by eventually" Without prompting or asking, the gentleman on the phone said they would still honor the mailer and could schedule an appointment the following day. I came by with my 2 kiddos in-tow and was in and out in about 20 mins. Friendly and easy to do business with. Only suggestion: yard and garage could use some tidying up... but that has no impact on service and quality. Had a problem with my front bumper and part of under carriage cover was dragging on the ground. I stopped and they immediately helped me and repaired everything on the spot. I will go there for all my automotive needs - body work or mechanical.

These are the most crooked ppl/shop around!! Y'all please be careful!! They are nothing but SCAMMERS!! Took my car in only for an estimate and went to go get my car they refused to give me my keys!! Said I owe them $55!! For what??? They did NOTHING!! After giving me a WSY TOO HIGH and RIDICULOUS estimate we declined to use their service.. So guess they were determined to SCAM me one way or another!!

These guys are honest and great. Traveling in Asheville/Weaverville and a bunch of idiot lights came on in my car. Called my trusted mechanic at home who advised I get a diagnostic test to see what was going on. Found Jason's from the VRBO place I was staying and they were super. Squeezed me in, had my car on the rack in just minutes, and did a thorough diagnostic test (turned out it was not anything serious but it could have been). Also mentioned in passing that the engine whined a bit so they test drove it and checked all the fluids and cases, at no extra cost. Totally professional throughout and completely trustworthy (suggested I have the engine whine looked at when I get home, but said the car was driveable now with no danger). If you happen to be traveling through, or if you live in the area, this place is highly recommended.

Can t recommend these guys enough! They always show me exactly what s going on with my car, explaining every detail of what might be wrong, how they ll fix it and then reviewing the quote before getting started. I have three kiddos that travel quite a bit with me and our family will never take our vehicles anywhere else!

I have now been a customer of Jason's for several years - since just after they moved to Reems Creek from North Asheville Exxon. I keep coming back because to work is first-rate, the charges are reasonable, and the folks are friendly. 'Nuf said.

I called with fears about a noise in my brakes. They got me in immediately and replaced my front brakes, and cleaned the back. Incredible service and a very fair price! I'm a customer for life.
