I'm a single mommy and me and my kids were on our way to SC traveling from KY mind you, to meet my nephew who had just been born, when my car started acting like it would quit! I was in a panic! The NICEST trooper took us out of his jurisdiction to this little treasure of a place and yall they took SUCH good care of my car and everyone talked to my kids like they knew them! Everyone was sooo sweet! They fixed me up, easy fix thank God, and sent us on our way. A huge thank you to Trooper Weaver and the lady behind that counter. I left that day with tears in my eyes and knowing there are still wonderful people in the world and that NC is going to be home for me someday... right around that area too! Nicest people!

Eric is an old school honest mechanic. Not too many of those around anymore. Only charged me $5 to change a headlight so my vehicle would pass inspection. Friendly staff and very helpful. Will use them again

We ve been in search of a decent mechanic for a while, and on this particular day, I called 6 different mechanics. Eric and his staff exceeded my expectations. They got me in very quickly, were friendly, honest and had my best interest at hand. We ll definitely be back.

I called and scheduled an appointment 2 weeks in advance to replace the front brakes in my car; the appointment was scheduled for 11:00 AM. When I dropped it off, I was told they were almost certain the work would be done by 5:00 PM before they closed. I received a phone call around 1:00 PM that afternoon confirming that just the front brakes and rotors needed to be replaced, and I was again assured that my vehicle would be ready before they closed.5:00 PM rolled around and I didn t hear anything from the shop. 6 hours to replace the front brakes and rotors the work didn t get completed (in spite of being assured twice that day that it would), and I didn t even receive a phone call to apologize for the inconvenience.I didn t receive a phone call the following morning with an update when the shop opened either. In fact, I didn t find out anything about my car until I decided to call the shop 2 hours after they opened. I was told the mechanics were completing the state inspection, and it would be ready soon.I m not dissatisfied with the work or the price, but the lack of transparency and failure to communicate is everything when building a relationship with customers. My invoice reflected 1.5 hours of labor, so I have no idea why my vehicle needed to stay in the shop overnight when it was dropped off at 11:00 AM. I will not be doing business here again.Services: Brakes, Vehicle safety inspection

Great first experience at Eric s Automotive! Referred here by a friend and they did not disappoint! Brake job done quick and right with fair pricing. Will definitely be coming back when the vehicles need service or repairs!

I had been through a couple of dishonest crooked mechanics since I came to weaverville, and then I accidentally found this place one day and can honestly say it's been a blessing to stumble upon. Honest people and good quality workmanship. As a Global Google Guide, I easily rate this establishment a 10/10.

Half the price the Firestone on Patton Ave attempted to charge for the exact same break job. Awesome service.

Do not go here! They botched replacing a purge valve and would not refund me labor, even though they broke the part while installing it. They would not refund labor because I didn't get my diagnostic done there (they charge more for the diagnostic than the dealership does AND won't credit it to the repair- I had my diagnostic done at the Hyundai dealership.) On top of this I was told it would be less than $150 and it ended up being more than $180, which was more expensive than the actual dealership who installed a manufacturer part. Eric messed up installing this simple part and then wanted me to look into getting a related and much more expensive part replaced to resolve the issue. He called the dealership workers "idiots" to my face. So unprofessional! Especially for the cost! Not to mention the place looks like a junk yard and the lobby is LITERALLY falling apart from water damage through the ceiling. This place is a hazard to wait in and has really horrible practices. Do not come here! Especially if you are trying to save money by going local!!

I've been going to Eric's since I moved to Weaverville, and have never been disappointed in him. His shop doesn't look like much, but he knows what he's doing. He is honest, and won't run up your bill. He tries to get used parts when he can. He's also pretty quick at getting you in and out of there.

I called ahead if time and asked how much it cost to see what's wrong, they said it's free. Told them we were a homeschooling family and didn't have much money. He prices it over 1300$. I tell them we can't afford it and would have to come get it...they charged my family 89 dollars to get my car back..... for nothing!! ... Took it to anther mechanic who priced it at 300!!!! Eric must be hard up for money to charge my family for nothing!!!!!!!!?

I have an '88 with more problems than I could care to count, and the last two mechanics I brought it to were unable to deal with it's "old car temperments". Eric is understanding of my testy baby and equally understanding of my complete lack of car knowledge. He takes the time to explain to me the foreign words he uses, and will even teach me how the pieces of my engine work together and why this problem affects that problem. He is honest about prices and which route will promise the best for the health of my vehicle rather than jumping on the opportunity to profit on a kid who has no idea what a "carburetor" is. The woman at the desk (I forgot her name!) is absolutely wonderful; while I was stuck there unable to go home, we bonded over road trip stories.I feel welcomed and, most importantly, I feel like my car and I are both taken care of. I couldn't ask for anything more.

Decent, reliable, honest work. No frills, no fancy waiting room, but I send everyone who asks his way because I know he'll treat them right with no BS, no hinky "upsells" on stuff they don't need and no shortcuts.

Been here multiple times with several vehicles in the past, Erics crew fixed problems reasonable cost they show you the problems/ bad parts after before they begin working on vehicles I've always come back very friend staff and crew I been coming back every time If i had problems with the vehicles and recommended many other friends and family to give them a shot and they always have positive feed back..I been a loyal customer for 5+ years
