I needed a bushing for the CV input shaft for my Escape. None of the parts houses even knew what I was talking about. Even after taking exploded view of the transmission with the part and the number on it, I was beat. Called Advanced and he ordered the part. It would still be on jack stands in my garage otherwise. They are very friendly and do what they say. If this CD4E ever gives up, I'll know who to call. Besides, it's hard to find someone that's competent.

We were on vacation in the area when our truck started acting up. We tried 3 different places before we landed at Advance Transmission.. our mistake for not going there first! My truck blew a center shaft support bearing 8 hours from home Friday afternoon. John here at advanced was able to fit me in just before closing. As soon as I drove up they were ready and waiting for it.

From the first phone call my dad and I was treated with honesty and very friendly staff, like, Anita.She has been amazing and so helpful, answering all my questions and putting my concern to rest.Their prices are fair and the owners honor their work.Let me put your mind at ease, your vehicle will be taken care of by professionals and no worries. I'm glad that I found the store. Advanced transmissions have been a business and this area for I believe 35 to 37 years. They work on all makes models of cars and transmissions. They have a great business ethic. When they talk to you on the phone they don't talk at you or down to you they talk to you in a good business manner let you know what you need, and when they do the work they do it promptly and cleanly. If you need transmission maintenance and you're in the Waynesville Clyde North Carolina area please stop by and see them.

The only shop that would even look at my car in the same week. Problem was diagnosed and repaired at a fair price and when promised. I enough confidence in the repair to drive to FL the following day for Christmas. We were on vacation our transmission blew driving up the mountains. We called a few places. Advanced was friendly and seemed to want to help us from the start. They knew we were stuck 13 hours from home and squeezed us in to try and help. They were very honest and up front from the beginning. They actually had to tell us that they could not rebuild our transmission it was so bad and that is something no transmission shop ever wants to do. They let us know within 1 day of receiving our vehicle so we could adjust our plans and not have to sit and play a waiting game. Vehicle got fixed They stayed in communication with us and it drove like a brand new vehicle when we picked it up! 6 starrs out of five. I could not be happier! I brought my Nissan Rogue here because I thought my transmission was starting to slip. They couldn't find anything after a thorough inspection and didn't try to lie and rip me off they were 100 percent honest. Traveling through the area a very long way from home our transmission went out and we were lucky enough to fall into the hands of the best shop I've ever done business with. I called with my dilema and they said come on in we'll take a look. There must've been 30 cars parked outside and I thought, great I now live in Waynesville NC without a car until they have time to fix it. They took pity on us and said they'd move us to the front of the line. Drove my partner to Asheville to get a rental. Had my transmission dropped by the time he returned. It was Friday afternoon. Some amazing mechanic came in on Saturday to work on it (thank you!) The van was ready on Monday with a new transmission! So thankful we were in such good hands Class act over there.Service: Transmission

Our transmission went out when we got off of the interstate. The people here were beyond nice and helpful. They even gave us a ride to our hotel. Unfortunately our warranty people decided to be a pain and not fix our van. Advanced Transmissions is the best shop we've dealt with. Thank y'all for your help.

I had a transmission replacement by these guys they done a wonderful job no problems. My sister also had a transmission completely rebuilt for her Dodge van. She bought the van from auto star in Waynesville the transmission went out twice they did not fix it correctly either time. Take my advice don t buy a vehicle from auto star in waynesville nc!

My transmission went out on my 2011 Chevy Malibu, I called this place to see about pricing it to be fixed. Once I told the guy I believe his name was Erin that I worked at Burger King he laughed at me and said i wouldn't be able to afford to have it fixed. I have no issues paying my Bill's and I was appalled with his professionalism. I know its gonna be a lot to fix but he should have kept his mouth shut and took my money. Poor business practices I'm amazed how the shop is still in business.

I called them and asked them if they could fix my car (I have a Honda CRV). They said they could, but it would take awhile. After three months, they said they "couldn't" fix it. Actually, what they should of said is that they didn't want to. I wish they would've told me up front that they couldn't. Needless to say, I will not recommend this shop to anyone, and if someone asks me for a recommendation, this shop will not be it.

We have a 2004 Exployer 2 years ago we needed a rebuild. yesterday we returned with 7 days on the 2 year warranty. My daughter was complaining that the transmission was not shifting from reverse into drive. We stopped by and discussed the situation. We found the issue worse on cold freezing am. So we dropped the car off and they said it was not a transmission issue. They said it was a loose linkage and they adjusted it. My daughter said it has never shifted so easy. This was above and beyond.

Maybe they would get more work if they were not so rude an a bit helpful. Js would never go to them for anything. An they can't even put a clutch in correctly, so I doubt I would trust them with my transmission.
