Best place in the area to take your car. The entire Henn team works to get you the best solution for your car at the lowest price. That goes for mechanical issues to tires. They have never let me down in the 5 years I've been taking my cars in them for service.

Exceptional service and fair pricing at Henn Automotive. I had several issues with my car, and none had been addressed at another dealership repair shop. I was very relieved and grateful for the expertise and support that Henn provided expeditiously. Highly recommend!

Henn Automotive earned themselves a repeat customer this week. If you are like me and usually go to a dealer...do yourself a favor and get a second opinion/quote from Henn. You will be glad you did.They are a bit backed up (I understand why now) but if you can handle the wait, its worth it. Friendly, experienced staff, very professional and didn't try to oversell me on unnecessary repairs. Best of all, much more reasonably priced than a dealer.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto brake repair, Vehicle Inspection

Brought in my 1955 Ford Fairlane and they did a phenomenal job. Communicated through the whole process, were super honest about what needed to be done, and the car runs great. Couldn t ask for a better experience. Will be taking my other cars here.

I highly recommend Henn Automotive as the AC and parts died in my 2008 Honda CRV. Their service was prompt, professional and appreciated. The cost for labor, parts and service was reasonable. And my CRV was ready for pick up at a great time at end of the day. Everyone was pleasant over the phone and in person. I will be back (but hopefully not soon haha). Called in asking ab diagnostic s appointments because I thought I had a valve knocking and they told me to come in and they would listen to it. Looked at and listened to my engine and then filled my tires for free.

If you have a well respected business Mike, you should care about the feedback and not just take customers monies. We had to keep returning everytime you did work on one of our vehicles..I think more than 4 x is enough and letting you keep that 1200.00 +dollars for a experience that I will be aware of ...when having any dealings with shady talking mechanics.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I've been to this shop twice so far and had have beyond amazing service each time. The first visit was a last minute engine repair-courtesy of a prior shops failure to correct the problem. They were able to work me in that morning, which they absolutely didn't have to do, and had everything diagnosed and repaired by the next day. The second visit was properly scheduled in advance, and they were kind enough to waive the diagnostic fee after a quick look over revealed my issue was inferior quality parts, but not broken parts, and a repair wasn't needed.I don't include these experiences in this review to hold special discounts/work in last minute service as the thing to be sought after from this shop, (I was VERY lucky both times to have that happen, and by no stretch of the imagination would rude enough to expect it), but to emphasize that this place seems to genuinely care, and goes out of their way to make sure you you walk away with the best possible outcome for the scenario you're in.I can't remember the names of the guys I spoke with, but if any service/technicians read this review and tinkered on a old grey '01 sequoia today, thank you!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Henn is hands down the best and only place to go. I moved here last year and its always hard trying to find a new mechanic to trust but Henn is 100% the best shop I've ever had. I came in out of the blue one day because I had a hole in my tailpipe they fixed it for me that day. Since then I've used them for everything I've needed done fan clutch, catalytic converter etc and my vehicle always comes back better than before. They call you after diagnosing and explain everything very clearly let you know the price and ask if you want it done. Very happy with Henn and highly recommend them to anyone needing work done!

Very honest people at Henn automotive. Took my car in with engine issues and it was going to be very expensive to fix really more expensive than the car was worth. The first mechanic I took the car to tried to tell me i had multiple issues besides the engine and the team at Henn told me it was just the engine. Took it there based on recommendation from a friend and I will be taking my other cars here from now on. Finding a great and trustworthy shop is very difficult. Glad I found Henn automotive, worth the 30 min drive. Couldn t have asked for a better experience, thank you!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Came in after getting my car back from a body shop after a minor accident. That shop told me I had an egg on my tire and needed to get it fixed soon. I called Henn as my parents have been taking their cars there for a while now. They were backed up 2 weeks for appointments but told me if my tire had an egg I needed to come in immediately and they would take a look. I drove straight there and they made time for me immediately and ordered a new tire for me and gave me a time to come back the next day. Unfortunately, they discovered my rim was bent, as well as my back rim and tire and an arm or something (I am by no means a car person). They knew I was taking a road trip at the end of the week so they fit me in and got my car done on time. Everyone I spoke to was so friendly and kind even though I didn't have an appointment and the quick tire change turned into a lot more work. They even got my oil changed and my high beam bulbs replaced. I'm grateful they checked for everything, especially after just getting it out of another shop that clearly didn't care about my safety or that of my 18 month old daughter. Cannot recommend them enough. We are customers for life.

This facility has very courteous and friendly people, mechanics are knowledgeable and competent. I was extremely impressed with their quality and fast delivery of my Mazda b2300 which needed a new timing belt, water pump and spark plugs. Was told two weeks before repairs could begin due to backlog of work, vehicle was ready in 4 days. I highly recommend this facility.Service: Engine repair

This is a review of Henn Automotive in Waxhaw North Carolina.This is a family-owned and run with owners on site daily auto mechanic repair facility that has several bays, several highly skilled mechanics with the ability to do anything from a basic oil change, to a tire change, to changing out the engine in your work truck or doing custom work on your hot rod for you and anything in between.Another specialty that they have is the ability to specialize the fixing repairing and upgrading of horse trailers, enclosed trailers, landscape trailers and the like.From the ladies in the front office who schedule your appointments, get you information you need and help you check in and check out you will always find them to be super professional and helpful and very efficient.Mike is the owner and you will see him running around the bays all day long as he helps his mechanics and interacts with customers and vendors constantly.I have personally been using their services for my landscape company trucks, personal and landscape company trailers, custom car builds, truck suspensions for fun, mine and my families and extended families car and truck repairs and just basic tire changes and oil changes also for approximately 15+ years.This family and this group of mechanics in this shop are absolutely fantastic and I have never been steered wrong by somebody trying to sell me something I didn't need or adding on parts just to pad an invoice or something these guys are very honest very professional and I trust them with everything I drive

I ve been having transmission problems for a very long time on my 2013 f150 and they diagnosed my problem and gave me all the Ford paperwork explaining to me it was a safety recall on it. 10 years or 1000000 miles If it wasn t for them I would have never known information. I will give them a 10 of a 10 . Thank you Henn

I don't often leave reviews but felt like this was the least I could do for these folks. Had a mysterious/very intermittent issue with acceleration (or more lack of acceleration) on a Toyota RAV4. After multiple tests/test drives failed to reproduce the problem Brooks rode with me while I tried to make it happen myself, also without success. I fully expected to reimburse them for the time they'd spent on this but they just handed my my keys and told me there was no charge. I've personally found this kind of service very rare these days.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Having issues with front rotors one was completely locked up. Everyone I called said a week before they could see us, Henn understood the safety aspect and told us they were short staffed and busy but to come in ASAP. This place honestly saved my life, and quite literally saved my pets life!! I got myself in a sticky situation where my pet got STUCK in my car. Not only did Mark come to my location, rescue my beloved pet, he also helped put all the pieces of my car back together. (I disassembled most of my car to try to find my pet.) The people in office were so kind and understanding and the whole team went above and beyond my expectations in terms of great customer service, speed, and efficiency. Will definitely be coming back for all my car needs!

Thorough, efficient, and great customer service!I was traveling from out of town with a horse in the trailer and my truck started acting up. Not knowing the area, I found Henn s Automotive, and I m so glad I did. Everyone was so helpful and understanding of my situation. Within 2 hours the problem had been diagnosed, repaired, and I was on the road again. My only issue - Henn s isn t in my hometown!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Our old company truck broke down on the side of the road in Waxhaw and our office is in Raleigh. The guys had to get somewhere and it was left on the side of the road. I called Henn Automotive and it was so easy from the very beginning. She arranged the tow and we didn't even have to pay that until we paid for the repair. Everyone I spoke to was so nice and ready to explain if I didn't follow along. It was ready when they said it would be. It end cost was right on point with the quote. I would recommend them to anyone for anything. I can't tell you how much I appreciate all they did for us!!

I've TRIED to take my vehicle here twice now for a simple spark plug change. I was told by the person that answered the phone that she would have someone call me back in a day or two. Well, I'm still waiting. I tried calling back during business hours but nobody answered. I'm over it.

Been bringing my cars here for 5 years. They are a great local shop that does quality work at a fair price. Not the cheapest, but reasonable. The work is done quickly and everything they have done for me has held up well.

Dropped off my car to have replacement mufflers installed. Car was done same day, no issue there on the speed of service. I felt the bill for the work was a little high, Tim told me he'd talk to the owner and get back with me later that day. I also had asked for a quote on some other services to the car which he said maybe we can work something out. That was at least 2 weeks ago, no follow up at all. Also, when i got in my car i noticed blue pen all over my drivers seat. So, whoever worked on the car had pens in their pocket.... no floor mats or protective covering for the seat used at all! Luckily my detailer (who had just detailed the car that week) was able to get it out.Update 10/26 - Owner did call me, but only after posting my review. Typically a business calls and is apologetic if a customer is dissatisfied. Far from it in this case, i was basically lectured on the auto repair business, told me the pen absolutely didn't happen at his shop and he was going to have to 'light me up' on a response and knew who he was dealing with because he 'looked me up' online. Little aggressive and invasive to say the least... agree to disagree, but i will not be using this shop again.Service: Exhaust
