I wish I could give 0 stars. Went in to have a new tire place on my truck and they broke my wheel lock by using an impact gun to try to remove it instead of loosening the wheel lock with a lug wrench. They claimed they didn t do it and wouldn t own up to it. I had just got another tire yesterday at a different place and had no damage to my wheel lock. Do not go here, specially if you are a woman s. They think women must have stupid written on their forehead. Go to someone you know that you can trust. I ve been getting my tires changed for years with the same guy prior to this incident. Only reason I went here was bc I needed and purchased a NEW tire and needed a balance. One thing I hate is a liar.

I made an appointment for new tires on my truck. I arrived the day of and checked in at the front desk. I sat in the lobby for a full hour and my truck didn t move. Then, she came over and told me they didn t have my tires. That they didn t come in when she told me the day before they would arrive by 9am. I was amazed how incredibly disrespectful that was of my time. If they would have said something when I arrived I wouldn t have been happy but I would have understood and more than likely returned once they did arrive. Needless to say, I ll take my business elsewhere.

Don't go here if you have aluminum rims. While the price of the tires was good, they ruined my rims installing them. Said they would accept responsibility and get back to me. Never did. I had to keep calling them. They kept asking for more time because the dealer wanted $600 per rim. I gave them the website where they could get them at a discount and they never contacted me back. Finally, after more than a month, I got fed up and AMEX reversed the charge for the tires. The problem is the cost of the tires just covers replacing the rims but not the cost for me to have someone else with modern equipment swap the tires and TPMS sensors to the new rims. Forget "Buying Local". Go to a modern tire shop.

Brooks and the folks at Tar Heel really saved my bacon! Not being from town and driving on my spare after a blowout they replaced two tires and did a wheel alignment to send me on my way. No fuss and only professionalism. If I was from the area I would most certainly use them for any of my auto needs. I surely appreciate the prompt and attentive service. Thank you to everyone who helped me! Truly five star service!

These guys really came through for me. I needed to get all 4 tires replaced on my horse trailer for a trip to the vet but could only do one at a time. They were always helpful and quick and I've had no issues with the balance on the tires. Good quality tires in stock.

Great place. Seem like very respectable operators.Know my name and vehicle as soon as I walk in the door.Knowledgeable and impressively professional mechanics crew.These are clearly seasoned and experienced pros. Not a bunch of kids leaning on brooms as is the norm in most garages.No haggling to worry about as their pricing is reasonable and I imagine because they are so efficient, their labor costs are kept at a minimum allowing them to turn out more business faster.Great business with friendly folks.A pristine example of the unsurpassed quality that small businesses can provide.Been going there for years and I've always been a happy customer.

This is probably the most honest repair shop I have dealt with in the last 40 years. Located in a small rural town in central NC, their reputation has to be perfect because of the limited number of customers available. Practically everyone is repeat customer. They are friendly, fast, and almost family. AAA+++

Picked up a UHaul ... was after hours, but convenient. We did not get the extra equipment we ordered (hand truck and furniture pads) but it all worked out.

Thankful for this place! They came and picked up my truck, as I couldn't leave work. They patched the tire and returned my vehicle to me. Very reasonable price. I cannot say enough good things about them.
