If I could leave one star, I would. I have heard many horror stories about Nathan and his disgusting attitude. There s no reason for this facility to lack the integrity that they do. Many different horror stories regarding the mishandling of customers vehicles. Valvolines complete disregard for damages that their mechanics have caused! It s outrageous. I can smell a lawsuit from the tops of Mount Everest. But, God bless.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Terrible service at this location in wake forest. I had arrived 45 minutes to an hour before they were closed for the day and I didn t even get to pull up and the guy with a smirk on his face comes up to me and says we re open 7 to 7 tomorrow . I said your website says you guys are still open til 530? He quickly came up with a poor excuse because he JUST DIDNT FEEL LIKE WORKING. His excuse was well we re having computer issues. He immediately knew he was full of it because he just walked away on me saying have a nice day. Absolute clowns working there. Unbelievable. Poor excuse of service, would not recommend this location.Forgot to mention, I came earlier that day and was told 20 minutes but ended up being an hour and so I left and came back to that. Total waste of time.

Went to get oil change yesterday and they offered all other services as most do shops etc... they forgot to reset my oil change light but didn't forget to tell me how much oil change cost and issues that could be fixed. I then called later and they offered to reset it for me and the guy on the phone even walked me thru the steps. I would say next time just take time out to do the small things as well.

Changing my rating to 2. This was my go to place for quick oil change service and tire rotation. Today s service was subpar compared to many services I have use in the past. I asked the technicians for an oil change and tire rotation. The technicians refused to do a tire rotation because their hands were cold and unable to perform the requested service. I will not be using this location for my oil change or tire rotation anymore. The lack of professionalism instill the lack of confidence in the technicians hired to perform these simple automotive maintenance.

I went here for an oil change on 9/30/23 and 2 weeks later my vehicles oil was empty. Nothing registered on the dipstick. This could have blown my engine up. They did not show me the oil level when they were done with the service so I know for certain that they did not fill my engine with the proper amount of oil. I ve had the car looked at by 2 different mechanics and they both said that the car is not burning or leaking oil so the oil change was the problem. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR VEHICLE!

Excellent service, very efficient and quick. Got an oil change and an NC inspection, took only 15-20 minutes. Friendly employees, very professional. This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever experienced. Went in to get an oil change and state inspection on a Thursday due to going out of town. Instead of an oil change they the drained my transmission fluid and couldn t fix the issue. Next, they had my car towed to an Audi dealer who couldn t service it until Friday or Saturday. Finally the Audi dealership fixed an expensive issue but Valvoline didn t pay the dealership for their mistake. So long story short, I have been inconvenienced and unable to pick up my car because of lack of payment and a huge mistake This sucks!!Service: Oil change

They didn t tighten my filter down properly and then when I come back after getting that fixed, they did not want to replace the screw that they lost for my cover horrible place. No care for customers.

Had all my fluids changed on my truck. The crew did a great job getting it done in a timely manner. Pricing was in line with other quotes. The nice part is not having to drop off my truck they do the work while your waiting.

Used this location for a standard oil change and ended up with >$1,000 worth of damage to my vehicle. Despite at least 6 attempts to have a claim reviewed for the damage caused by their work I have yet to receive any kind of communication from the local management. Completely unprofessional management that will refuse to stand behind their work.Service: Oil change

If there's any funds to be had, trust and believe an upsell WILL be attempted!! From "extra" oil even down to a visibly salvageable air filter. Seems to be many of these type strategic crafty money hungry auto service entities!! Let's get back to taking care of each other with reasonable and practical auto care maintenance/service repairs!!

Went for a simple oil change before we headed to the beach, changed oil. As soon as we left our Honda CRV sounded like a F-150 and was revving 5000 RPMS at 20 mph. Went back and said something all they offered was to do another oil change. Requested video footage and NATHAN the manager threatened to call the cops as soon as we mentioned video footage we had already called corporate and the cops to file a complaint. DESHAWN the assistant manager was absolutely amazing and tried helping us to the best of his abilities in his position. Please save yourself money and don t go here!Service: Oil change

Oil change cost me thousands of dollars.I went last summer to get an oil change and for some reason the kid started taking my radiator apart. I wasn't too upset about it, people make mistakes.. what really upset me is that i had to pay for what they messed up and they refuse to reimburse me.They sent my truck (which I need for work) to precision tune down the street. For whatever reason they ordered the wrong radiator 3 times. A week had passed, so I am behind on my projects at work so I don't get paid.I finally had to rent a car for two days the following week, and once I got my truck back I thought my transmission started to act funny.I took it to the dealership and they told me the radiator was not properly installed and this is what was causing the problem.I assumed valvoline being a reputable company would reimburse me for the 1000 dollar repair bill, but they did not after calling over and over for a month.I lost out on money I could have been making and it cost me 1000 to pay someone to fix whatever these people did to my truck.They still have not paid me back.Did you read the part about me calling over and over?Service: Oil change

Waited over 20 minutes for their employees to show up to work. Nobody seemed to care and they took their time to inspect my car. If you are supposed to open at a certain time, you should have employees who care enough to show up and be courteous to their customers.

Not too pleased. I normally go to dealership. But I would have to wait for an appointment for a week in half because they were booked during my availability and due to staffing issues/shortages they have certain timeframes they can do it.. I work 2 jobs generally work all my appointments around my jobs.My very first time going there. I did request the middle price oil change for 5000 miles. Talking to the lady and gentleman she did not know too much about the mileage difference of the different grades of oil change. She started talking first basically to her all of them would give you 3000 miles he did jump in and said the difference in the miles 3000, 5000, I think the last one he said 10000 or 12000. I said I would like the middle one for 5000 miles. He proceeded to do oil change. She get computer asking my information give me price I pay. When he finished he let me know she gives me receipt. Getting ready to leave I realized no one put sticker up there for return mileage. I asked her for the sticker she said oh we out of ink o can write it on one for you. I said if you do not mind. When it is handed to me I drive off and when got home was going put on window she only had put up there the return mileage which will be in 3000 miles. So now I am confused because I paid for 5000 mile service but the sticker say I got 3000 mile service. Yes I did go to website left comment shared this information my experience more information than this because it was the day of and fresher on my brain and i am not here to make the company look bad and it is more than one location so all locations might not be like the one I went to and it has been a week and I have not yet heard from anyone. I have went to other places for oil change outside of dealership and got what I requested and never felt like I paid for something and got opposite. Yes I did call them they were book one company first availability would of been the following Wednesday and the other the following Thursday still almost a week out. My oil like came on a day later and due to I go to church 20 miles away, work daily one job 14 miles other 3 miles just was scared going mess up something driving right a week with the oil light on and cause damage to car that is the only reason went to Valvoline due to same day service and my light was on

UPDATED EDIT WITH SORROW!Sorry to say I must now change my review as of today (see below) as I've never entered this lot to find a long line of cars waiting as I witnessed today.Worst of all I WAS DECLINED SERVICE today simply due to one technician having left for lunch! At least that's what I was told by a new employee I did not recognize as I have all my vehicles serviced here since the week they opened and I visit them often.Having said that, I couldn't help notice I didn't recognize ANY of the employees inside today as they now have hired a bunch of young girls with fake nails, wigs and their pants painted on.Don't take that the wrong way, I just can't see young girls in the oil changing business turning ratchets while trying to stay clean and pampered looking while chewing bubblegum as seen today,,, literally!I will return once more in a couple of days and try again as today's visit was planned after I had made time and took the day off only to have waisted a 45 minute commute to be turned away! If all goes well Wednesday or Thursday (if I can fit a second attempt in) I'll remove this text and presume it was a fluke event.Given my history here I doubt it, but hopeful for the best as Valvoline was my favorite in the area.************************************Always great service since their opening day in my experience. I've yet to enter their garage and have much wait time compared to the others of choice.I've even had them replace belts etc on multiple vehicles and exited in about the same amount of time, and not having to step out of your vehicle throughout the entire process is simply ingenious.Great job guys please keep the culture and pace going strong and you'll stay on top.

While the workers were nice, why would you stop doing inspections at a certain time? Showed up at 3pm only to be turned away because we are done doing inspections for the day. This was really disappointing. I ve gone here many times for oil changes and such and usually love this place so much so that I drive 45minutes to go here.

Fast and easy. They opened 30 minutes late, but gave me $10 off my service. The staff was nice. They also forgot to turn off the check oil light so I had to go back, but they were very nice about turning it off.

I was treated very nicely here.EditJulius has amazing customer service skills. And watching him handle everything and treat every person like a person with great personality, skill, genuine care was amazing for me and my partner to watch. He was teaching another coworker, he had 10 different things going (people driving in) giving each person the same care and was on top of everything running it like a boss. Very impressive.

Had an inspection here. The wait was a little strange as there was one car in front a f mine and the technicians were just standing around chatting. Maybe the NCDMV system was slow, but they could have communicated with me during my wait. They were still very pleasant and did a good job overall.

I have been to the Valvoline in Wake Forest plenty of times with my boyfriend and sister and their experiences we re pretty good, so I decided to use them for an oil change on Saturday. Upon arriving we were greeted quickly and pulled into a bay as soon as we pulled up, once the employee went to begin the oil change he lifted the hood and proceeded to look underneath. My boyfriend and I noticed a quite a bit of steam coming up from the engine bay, the employees proceeded to talk to one another and about 4 other employees came over to look and started shaking their heads. As someone who doesn t know cars as much as they do, seeing employees working on your car and shaking their head is never a good sign. None of the employees came over to tell us what was going on, not even the manager and they all proceeded to just talk and joke around in front of my car as my boyfriend and I still do not know what s going on with my car. After about 10 minutes of waiting to see if someone would come and explain, we decided to get out and finally the employee told us he had broken the coolant T and the coolant had dumped into the engine bay causing the steam. I was then told they d fix it at no charge, which I was very grateful for, the manager said it would a 7-8 hour job and that he would call us, I hadn t received a call about an update or what they were going to do with it, whether they were going to tow it to a shop or leave it there. I was without a car for 2 days, and my mom called up there to see what was going on with my car on Monday and was told the manager would call her around 11am, they never called her. She had to call them back and they stated they were going to fix the car at Valvoline themselves. Although, it is quite bizarre that my car had not been touched at all until my mom called on Monday. Upon picking up my car, I was given a $17 discount off a $131 oil change.. nice but a lot of trouble to go through for only $17 off.Service: Oil change
