Very quick service. I went there on a weekday afternoon, and there weren t many people. We were in and out in less than 15 minutes. The service cost $30 for inspection.

This place is fraudulent. I went for an inspection here and was failed because they said I need to replace both of my headlight assembly s. When I bought the car 6 years ago, it had already been in a small fender bender and the headlights have a slight crack in them and part of the mounting bracket is broken. Since then I have driven over 100k miles and 7 cross country trips. The lights have worked flawlessly. They don t bounce or vibrate and they illuminate where they should. But this older gentleman insists they have to be replaced and he will not pass me even though they work fine. And for reference the broken bracket caused about 1/4 in of wiggle room. With the hood closed they don t move at all. What a joke. He still charged me $23 for a failed inspection. A passed inspection with window tint is $40. They also tell you that the state requires them to charge you an extra $10 for the window tint inspection which is also not true. The state leaves it up to the shop (I looked it up). I went down to jiffy lube on Durham rd, not only was I done in a 1/3 of the time, but I passed (even my headlights) and it was a total of $13! I payed more to this crooked shop for a fail than I payed for a pass. I will never come back here. Jiffy lube for the win.

Quick and friendly service to get your car inspected. They don't cut corners and tell you like it is. It was a little confusing about where to enter, so read the signs.

Con- Very rude customer service. The person before me was talked to in a rude manner. One of the inspector spoke loudly on several occasions he cut the guy off. I was also cut off by the same person when I first walked in to ask a question.

Good, friendly service. I go to them often with multiple cars. Make sure not to show up after about 4:40 p.m. or they will turn you away. Have also gone on some days and no one was there.Sept 5 update: closed today for holiday?!? Went and sign indicated such. Downgrading to 3 stars

I have a van and suv and most of the time I take my vehicles here for inspection. Usually quick, courteous and efficient. Never had a problem unless I waited until the last day of the month, then there has been a line and a wait. My problem not theirs. If someone shows up at a place that doesn't make appointments, 1/2 hour before closing you are taking a risk. Don't blame a business for poor decisions on your part. I would recommend this business.

Failed for Parking lamps not functioning. What they were looking at was a reflector. I will be going back to show them what to inspect and if this fails I will be making a complaint with the NC board of vehicle inspections. When I attempted to explain the issue in a kind way they continue to tell me I was wrong and it s pretty simple to see that there was no bulb or socket for a bulb at the location they were looking for one. There professionalism matches there knowledge of the subject.

Synopsis: It's the only place I go for my inspection. Quick, friendly, and fairly priced.I've been coming to the NC Inspection Center at the Factory since I moved down to NC and it's always been the same--good service for a great price. This past trip I was able to get into the Factory on a weekday rather close to their opening (8:00am). I was able to get my car in within three minutes of arriving and was out in under 15 minutes total.I also want to shout out Harvey B. who has been working at this location for years now. He always does a good, quick inspection and let's you know if there is anything going on with your vehicle.Ended up paying a bit over $23 but that is due to a $10 window tinting fee so even the price is comparable to anywhere else. I can say with 100% certainty that this is the only place I will continue to go to for my inspections.5 Inspected Stars out of 5!

It was fast, and the staff were really friendly. However, $30 is expensive considering the $9 I use to pay for the same service in Tennessee. Maybe it is a standard NC price.

Has been a great place to get inspection in the past, but the hours are not accurate. They do not close at 2pm on Saturday. They stop letting people in at 1pm, the hours they post should reflect this.How is anyone supposed to know their processes if they don't put the right hours? I suspect they close to the public at 4pm during the weekdays too.

This is a good location to get in and out in good time for a car inspection. They were very busy today (12/29/2022) due to many of us who waited until the end of the month. The two guys working kept things moving very well. The wait was less than anticipated and it helped to see how effectively they were moving through the twl lines of cars.

Maybe update your hours to be correct. States a open til 5 and at 3:55p on a Monday closed. Wasted trip. Did not make my day. Otherwise, a good service and might update if corrected.

They did the job. Not all that friendly but if I had to do the same thing over and over again all day long I might not be the most personable either. NAHH ! I took care of the public for 40 years. Every person I saw I treated with concern and enthusiasm ! People are not just numbers! We are all individuals. Treat us accordingly!

Very disappointed with one of their inspectors. He failed my 3 year old vehicle with solid tires. Few minutes later I passed the inspection at another center.I did complain, asking for proof that my tires were not safe (e.g measuring the thread), but they simply ignored me (even laughing at times).I will never come back hereMy advice, lazy and irresponsible state employees,Unless you have a brand new car, take it to a private auto centet

Best to go early, not as busy. They try to get everyone in and out a quickly as they can. There are times when you my have to wait, nothing out of the ordinary. They can also correct small problems like burnt out bulbs or wipers for an additional fee. Be smart. check out your vehicle and make any corrections before your inspection is due.

I don't recommend this place at all. They just scammed an elder senior citizen of 10.00. They claimed the window tint didn't meet standards. The car has no front windshield tint and drivers door is factory tint. Which is next to nothing. Person was told that the tint came standard with the car. Still insisted they pay the 10.00. What a rip off place. Please don't support this place.

Place is really quite quick even without an appointment (which I have never made), especially if you avoid peak hours. $25 for an NC inspection w/ safety and emissions and they are very thorough

It used to be a reliable place in the past where 8am opening meant someone was ready to work. I was still sitting there at 15 after and no one had arrived. I left and went up the road to Firestone where I received prompt and friendly service.Yes I know there may have been a personal emergency, but is there just ONE PERSON working???

Place was closed November 23rd at 230pm. Sign says they are closed tomorrow and should have been open. Wasted my time driving all the way here. Please communicate better.
