Attempted to take a tire to be repaired at this location. The gentleman that was helping me stated that the tire was too old and was dry rotted. There is zero dry rot on the tire and when I tried to confront him about it, I was told well that s our policy and I said, OK what about getting a new tire? His response was why I don t even know if we can get this tire it s a tire you re a tire shop. Pretty sure you can get me a tire.

Came in on a Monday morning (8:30am) to buy 2 new tires - without an appointment.And they had the tires on and ready to roll in 30 minutes! Their efficiency & speed & customer service is impeccable.Excellent price on the tires too.I haven't seen professional, caring customer service like Clayton and Matthew displayed, in YEARS.Thanks guys!

Stopped by there a couple weeks ago to see if they could find & repair a slow leak in one of my tires. Clayton helped me & the technician (not sure of his name) said they were able to find & repair it. A roofing nail had punctured it & was still there. When the tech gave me my ticket to check out, it had a zero dollar amount on it. So I went to Clayton to check out & said, does this mean there s no charge? , he said, that s correct . I was dumbfounded because I didn t even buy my tires there. They were so nice & were so quick. I told them that going forward I would purchase all my tires there. BTW, if I would have had to replace the tire, it would have been $70 cheaper than where I originally bought my tires. They have a customer for life in me!!

I had an issue with a set of tires I got from Tire Rack last year that were making my car shake really bad. I had the tires balanced several times over the last 9 months so I finally contacted Tire Rack. They had me bring it here to have them checked and everything fell into the parameters as acceptable despite the shake. The manager Kenyatta offered to replace the tires for me anyway and said he would dispute it with Tire Rack for me. He even ordered me a different set of tires that I believe were actually more expensive because he couldn t get a hold of 4 of the tires that I had originally purchased. Great customer service!

These guys are so friendly. I bought my tires online for my car. Reasonable prices. You just have to look. I buy and book an appointment online. It's the best way folks. It takes your waiting time down a lot. Just got 4 new tires for my husband's truck today. I got there at 9 and I was leaving at 9:40. Check them out. You will like them.

This is our go to place for tires. They stock a ton of different sizes and price match their competitors. There is an installation fee and some other fees so my $320 tire ended up being $380 installed. Tire rotations are included and I think balancing too.

Best tire buying experience ever!!! I purchased a set of 4 Goodyear Assurance Maxlife tires for my 22 Pathfinder. My check in time was 8:15am in Wake Forest. Before I could finish filling out an online rebate form at 8:45am, the Technician is handing me my keys. I thought there may have been a problem with the install but no, my vehicle was waiting for me in the parking lot. This was phenomenal service both with the great prices and the speed of installation. I recommend Discount Tire in Wake Forest for all your tire needs.

A nightmare experience.I had an appointment which I rescheduled but later my meeting was cancelled so I called them and asked if the time slot was still available. They told me that if I came now they should be able to get me out after one hour and 15 minutes. I hustled down there and was nicely surprised when the sales guy told me it should be finished in only 48 minutes.When I came back 40 minutes later my car was still in the parking lot with the old tires. I asked what happened and was told that the technicians went to lunch - fair enough but I believe they go for lunch everyday - that should not be a surprised and should be included in their projection.I told them that I would need to have the car finished in latest 45 minutes as I would need to pick up my boys from school - if they could not promise that then I would need to come back another time. They promised it would be finished by then and shortly after my car went in - yeah:)20 minutes later the sales guy came to me and told me that a mistake had happened. The Michelin tires I had ordered had been mislabeled and it was not the correct tires. I was offered a different set of tires but wanted to get the tires I had ordered installed. They then installed temporary tires for me until my tires would arrive.My car was finally pulling out of the garage 55 minutes after. I was now VERY late to pick up my boys so I got out of the shop. The technician told me my key card to my Tesla was in the cup holder. I was so much in a rush that I did not check and later found out that the key card was not in the cup holder. Getting back to Discount Tire - the key card was lost. Another bad strike.The week later my tires had arrived and went to get them installed. When I left I noticed that the receipt they gave me had a large balance - I had already prepaid for the tires and should not have a balance. If anything they should owe me for all the trouble they are putting me through so back to the shop and back in line waiting for my turn.They fast realized their mistake and after 5 minutes working with the system I received a new receipt with a zero balance. But on that receipt it did not have the ODO of the car and since there is a mileage warranty on the tires the ODO is of cause important. It seems the ODO had also been deleted in the system so happy that I caught it before leaving. They got that take care of.I though I was finally finished with this but no.After driving around a mile the car notified me of low tire pressure. It turned out that they had only put in 36 PSI on my car - Tesla Y calls for 42 PSI on all tires.I was getting so sick and tired of that place that I got the tire pressure taken care of my self.Even if you have to pay a little more - go somewhere else to someone that is more professional that actually have checked that the have the correct tires before you come in. That gives you a proper estime of time. Whom does not mis place your key card and who can put the right amount of air in your tires.

This has been bugging me for awhile, so I guess I need to say something.When I was a broke college student, I had a hole in my tire. I couldn't afford a new tire at the time. Discount fixed my tire for free and I was so grateful, I decided I would be a customer for life. Fast forward about 20 years later and I was still a customer.Last year-2023-I made an appointment for a tire rotation. When I got there, the guy came out and looked at my tires. One set was just about a year old and one set was about 2 years old. He told me the tread was too low and it was against company policy to rotate the tires. This was surprising to me because, as indicated, one set was just about a year old. I work from home. The only regular driving I do is carpool for my kid 2-3x a week. So I'm not putting on a huge number of miles on average. He told me to follow him back into the store and he could quote me for 4 new tires. I told him no and he looked surprised. I don't know if he was surprised because he was trying to scam me and I didn't take the bait? I don't know if that was the case and I hope that's not the case but I'm not sure what else would cause a surprised look like that. What I do know is that a couple of months later, my car passed inspection. Perhaps Discount's policy is more stringent than the state of North Carolina; I can buy that. But telling me I need 4 new tires when 2 of my tires are only about a year old with minimal miles on them doesn't sound right to me. Moving forward, I'm going elsewhere for tires because I've lost my trust here.

On February 7th I stopped in at the store to have my tires rotated. Unexpectedly I began to experienced a real medical problem and 3 of Mr. Kenyatta ( manager) young men came to my recuse, the 3 young men Clayton, Michael and Matthew unknown to other customers, but definitely known to me, put my car in front and rotated and balanced my tires in record time. These young men will never know how much that meant to me and a direct reflection on the manager. I will always purchase my tires for all 3 of my vehicles.

This tire shop is fantastic, definitely the best around. I bought 4 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S' for my '18 M3 and had them installed here, and a year later had a leak in the one tire. Zac expertly helped find the leaks, and when it was too damaged to fix, helped me replace the rear tires and was kind, knowledgable, and empathetic about getting it done right and on time. Thank you to both Zac and the staff at Discount Tire for the great experience!

Best tire service I've ever experienced! I usually hate going to these places because they pray on women, like car salesmen. But these guys were courteous and helpful and their prices were amazing! Special shout out to Kenyatta and Clayton for their kindness. Meant the world. Thank you!

I can t imagine my experience being any better! Last night my husband called this location to see if they had certain tires in stock which they did. They reserved them for us to come the very next morning to get installed. They opened their doors right at 8am and had a handful of smiling employees waiting in the lobby to greet everyone who was coming in. They asked me for our phone number to look up our information and he informed me they had pulled the tires already and they were waiting in the bay. Within 2 minutes the truck was getting worked on.30 minutes later our new tires were on and I was pulling away. All the employees were super cheerful and kind.Free balances and rotations for the life of the tires and they price matched the price from online.I was totally impressed!

This is the best tire service I have ever had. Started my new tire journey on the discount tire website to find tires. Loved the option to apply for the credit card and have nine months zero percent interest on the purchase of awesome tires.(price was comparable to other tire places)Kenyatta the GM called me to advise me that my tires were in for my appointment. I was checked in by Mike who was very knowledgeable and friendly. The wait was not long and in about an hour my vehicle was ready. Was able to meet Kenyatta and thank him and the team for excellent and great care. Will ensure that my entire family goes to this location.Thank you to Ty for ensuring the air in my tires was at the recommended Psi.

My whole family has bought tires and had them installed here at the Wake Forest store for years. They have always beat competitors prices and the customer service is above and beyond! A special thank you to Andre for his professional courtious service during my last tire purchase. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a new set of tires!

Unfortunately, like all other business, this location is understaffed. Expect to wait in line 15 min even if you have an appointment. There are 1 - 2 guys attempting to welcome, serve customers, and try to answer the non stop ringing of the business phone. For sure there is burnout here for all employees.The manager looks severely stressed. It would do well for upper management to rethink their strategy in hours allowed per week, care for current employees, and hiring of more so others can have some relief.5 stars for effort and hustle. 2 stars for lack of leadership care.

Every time I shop here I'm reminded of why I will not buy tires from any other place. The prices are competitive, it's easy to pick out tires and schedule appointments via the app, and anytime there's a question or a problem the staff is very very helpful. You could buy tires from anywhere else but if you get them here you're not going to have to worry about them. Period.

Discount tire is my favorite place for tire service. The staff is always friendly and professional and the service is excellent. I needed a plug for my tire that had picked up a large screw and they fixed it and got me out I'm a timely manner. I will always use and recommend them to anyone.

Terrible wait times for walk-ins. Been going for years but still waited over 2.5hrs for flat fix to get in bay. Had to ask twice to get in bay. Appointments are always prioritized to the detriment of walk-ins. People arriving 45 mins early for appointments are prioritized (and completed) over walk-ins.2 stars for walk-in4 stars for appointment

I've been a loyal DT customer since the early 90's but their service has really slipped over the past few years. I thought when I bought the tires over the phone that the rep had scheduled an appointment for me. Unfortunately, come to find out they had me marked at a walk in. This explains why "you're next in line" kept getting me bumped. After 2 � hours, I gave up and will take my $1700 to another business that is more responsive.

Incredibly impressed with this place. Prepaid for two tires to be put on my car. I showed up 2 hours early for my appointment because my car had a bad donut on it. While waiting for my ride, they had already moved the car in to be worked on. The entire process was finished within 1 hour of arriving at the store. Excellent service all around.

Showed up for a 5:45 appointment and to say that this is my least favorite discount tire would be an understatement stood there for almost 10 minutes while two counter people went back and forth instead of acknowledging me and then it was a few more minutes after that before the one finally did acknowledge at least the service tech was pleasant and did a quality job. The staff at Knightdale are still my favorites.

I have really enjoyed my experiences with discount tire. On this particular visit, I needed 4 new tires. There was an issue with the tires I had purchased. The service rep who took care of me called, explained the problem, and fixed it with no hassle. I was great to see the accountability. I appreciated the effort and solution offered.
