Eds has been a long time supplier for firearms and shooting gear. I first ran into them several decades ago at gun shows and they always had some of the better deals. Knowledgeable staff, very casual and easy going gun shop (unlike a lot), and pretty extensive selection. Would rather them a 5 but some of their stock and stocking has been a bit off the last few trips.

So, I purchased my 3rd pistol from here yesterday, the 6th of January.Ed's awesome. The guys in the back are awesome.Now, if I had had to deal with the two in the front, first, I wouldn't have purchased anything from here. Probably would have just walked out, to be honest.Yesterday I purchased my sidearm and decided to go to the front and get a red dot sight for it.Walked up to the counter and found what I was looking for, but the guys were having too good of a conversation to stop and help me.Literally 7 feet away from the counter. As I stared, they just couldn't be torn away. When the younger of the two finally came over, I felt like I was bothering him.Pretty much I find an hour to shop here. I'll have to think about it before any more purchases

The gents here are knowledgeable professionals & friendly & make you feel like family. The options are pretty vast for firearm needs & the prices are on par with what you would expect anywhere. Great 2A shop!

Fantastic gun shop! I drove over 4 hours to get a used muzzleloader a friend told me they had. Not only did they have a great selection of those at good prices, but they also had a large selection of other guns, reloading supplies including hard to find powders, primers, etc. The staff was also fantastic to work with. I'm definitely going to stop back by this place next time I'm in the area.

Ed and staff were very helpful with my purchase. Their selection of guns and supplies is excellent. I found what I wanted with advise and was approved and out the door in a short time. This is my first choice for shopping from now on. My selection was priced well under retail.

Ed's is one of the best gun shops that I have ever been to. Great owner and employees! Really good selection of merchandise. Good prices. You really should visit if you get a chance.

Pictures of my "new, unused" Ruger Precision Rifle .300 PRC purchased from Ed's Gun Shop. Picture 1 - The underside of my handguard with what appears to be wear from a bipod. Picture 2 - Under edge of my rail, where it appears optics were mounted. Picture 3 - Corresponding top side of rail with wear indications. I contacted Ed's but was passed off to Ruger (not sure why since I bought it from Ed's). Ruger replaced the handguard and rail. WOW, now I feel better. I was really worried about those scratches (sarcasm). Who used my "NEW" gun and how many rounds passed through the barrel? I HAVE NO CLUE! In the span of time between its manufacture date and delivery to my FFL, potentially hundreds of rounds. That's a lot of mileage on this type of gun. The fact NO ONE, including Ruger, could answer how it appeared optics were mounted and a bipod attached amazed me. I was told this was "brand new, not used, not on display".

Probably the best gun store I ve been in in a while. I work in a gun store in another state and I was very surprised coming here. From the name and building I thought it would be a bunch of fudds selling hunting rifles and revolvers for too much money. Very competitively priced, even compared to online. Large selection of all kinds of stuff gun related wether hunting or tactical or self defense. Plenty of staff. Only thing bothered me was not being acknowledged for the first 10 or so minutes in the store even though many employees were not with other customers. Great store none the less.

I have nothing but good things to say about this store. I emailed Ed about a gun I was looking at. He emailed back within 15 min and even sent pictures to show it was in stock. The price of the item was incredible. Everywhere else had it marked up well above MSRP or didn t have it. Once purchased he sent tracking the same day. It arrived at my FFL dealer very quick. Even they were amazed at the price I paid for it. I will definitely be looking at Ed s shop for all future purchases.

Ed's has a good selection of guns, ammo and accessories. I have bought several guns and lots of ammo here but I can't remember them ever trying to "sell" me anything. There's always someone available if you need help or have a question but they let you browse in peace until you need them. The prices are as good or better than the big stores.

Professional guys and very helpful. ***Ed is very nice and also have patient. ***He actually helped us a lot for everything. The store is very convenient and have everything you need. You should check this gun shop before you decide to purchase a firearm. Absolutely 5 stars!!!!

Recently had a great experience purchasing a safe here!! Staff took lots of time explaining and showing lots of safes and features to me. I had been shopping all over and their prices here beat everyone! Been shopping and buying from here for years it s a great place for all 2A folks!

Friendly helpful staff really great selection of guns mostly newer guns They also are the only ones in the area that are aware of that has reloading supplies. It's always fun to get to go in there and look. I've got some great stuff in here in the past. Thanks again guys!

I tried to buy a box of 8x57 for my Mauser. The lady working at the counter asked for my age where I said I m 20 she then asked to see ID and before I could pull my ID out she said she couldn t sell it to me despite me being 20. I received a very rude attitude at the counter were the box of ammunition was snatched out of my hand.I have had great experiences in the past at Ed s I ve purchased an AKM and I ve purchased countless rounds of ammunition ranging from 5.56, 7.62x39, .308, and including the type that was snatched from my hands. It s a great store but that one experience really makes me not want to go back.

Made an online order on a Saturday morning. Heard back from the store that same morning as they were trying to contact my FFL so they could send it out same day! The price of my purchase was OUTSTANDING! Easily $100 - $300 less than I've seen it elsewhere online (and no one else had one in stock). Very happy with Ed's and if I ever need to order something online again, this will be the first place I'll look.

I was looking for a new concealed carry pistol and had been shopping around for awhile. A friend recommended that I go into Ed s and look around and I am so glad I did. Everyone was so helpful and polite. I have had bad experiences in the past shopping for pistols with people being very condescending. But not here. Everyone I felt with was great. And took the time to help me find what I needed. They will definitely be getting my business again and I highly recommend them.

I'm glad I discovered this place online. They are about 4.5 hours from me so I can't review them as an in store visit. But as an online retailer they had very good prices and great service. I called them the very next business day to go over some shipping destination info and they was very helpful and had my order shipped out that afternoon. Very fast shipping time too! Which in today's world is pretty rare... My local shop said they are a really good place and has dealt with them before. My order arrived in great condition and one day faster than the expected date. I will keep them in my bookmarks for the next time I am shopping around. I definitely recommend them.

I just moved to NC in September and I had my pistol shipped to Ed s in August. Upon arrival to NC, I wasn t familiar with the permit laws here and it took me 4 long months to finally receive my pistol permit. The gentlemen at Ed s were extremely helpful and patient with me and did not charge me extra for the wait. They kept my weapon in good condition and assisted with understanding the local laws. Highly recommend this place and will be coming back in the future!

Great place to buy or sell your guns and surplus ammo. Huge variety and plenty in stock of rifles and pistols. Inventory turnover is quick and they will order if not in stock. Always friendly and professional e etc time I'm there. I would show pics but it's a gun store and you know what guns look like. They also have all things needed if you load yourself.

I have been dealing with this gunstore for over 25 years. They are the first place I go when looking for something even though they are not exactly around the corner for me. They always have a nice selection of firearms that are more then competitively priced.To the dealers that GOUGE their customers especially in the last year or so , you better hope their memories are short.

I recently visited ED's Gun shop with my wife, hoping to purchase a lower receiver. However, we had an extremely disappointing experience due to discrimination. My wife, who wears a Hijab as part of her religious observance, was denied service solely based on her attire.As a law-abiding citizen, and US Army veteran I believe in treating everyone with respect and dignity, regardless of their background or appearance. It was disheartening to witness such discriminatory behavior in a place that should prioritize equality and fairness.I strongly urge ED's Gun shop to reconsider their policies and ensure that no customer is discriminated against based on their religious beliefs or attire. Businesses have a responsibility to serve all customers equally, without prejudice or bias.It is my hope that this incident serves as a wake-up call for ED's Gun shop to review their practices, educate their staff on diversity and inclusion, and implement measures to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.I believe in the power of dialogue and understanding, and I hope that this review encourages ED's Gun shop to reflect on their actions and make the necessary changes to become a truly inclusive establishment.

After many months of searching for a new Colt Goverment Model 1911 that hadn't been marked up double the price on Gunbroker, I had found 1 left in stock on edsgunshop.com. I called up to confirm before placing the order and once confirmed I placed it and was called in timely manner from Ed that he would get it shipped the same day! I am very appreciative that Ed's gun shop didn't take advantage of the current shortage of Colt 1911s (they are sold out almost everywhere) and sold it at a very reasonable price. I will be doing more business with them in the future due to their excellent service!!

I have been buying guns and ammo from Ed's for many years now and I have not found any other gun shop around this area or throughout the state that has better prices or selection. I have bought and traded many guns from Ed and always been satisfied with the deals and trades he has given me. The staff is very helpful and takes the time to make sure your getting what you want. I have had many of the staff install sights and scopes on my handguns/rifles and they always took the time to make sure everything was correct and I was happy. I will continue to buy my guns and ammo from Ed's because I know I'm going to get the best price and they always have what I'm looking for. AR-MM

If your looking for your next Gun Ed s the place to go! Have bought my past 6 toys from him and his staff and they are great! Patient and really knowledgeable! Will be stoping in tmro for new sights for my glock 19! Try them out you won t regret it!

I have bought several guns from Ed's Gun Shop in the last couple of years. I have found his staff to be very friendly and will go out of their way to help you. The prices are hard to beat. I drive over an hour to do business at the store. If there is a better gun shop around I haven't found it yet. Thanks Ed for great prices and service.

Ed's has a very friendly and professional staff. Always greeted when I come through the door. I make the drive out there because they have the best prices when it comes to ammo. Good customer service all around.
