I really like their biscotti and I think they have a cat that poops on my lawn sometimes but, I am not going to let myself get too happy just yet before I even have gotten to try a bite of the turdlet to determine its authenticity, because to be quite frank, this whole thing could turn out to be another maturation camera for me to give to my grandma.

I was stuck in sylva over an hour from where I live in Hendersonville with car trouble. I called another shop first with no answer. I drove to another shop but they were too busy to help, I called this place and he squeezed me in and had my car back on the road in no time and didn't charge an arm and a leg. I was pleasantly surprised and will continue to do business here even though it's a bit of a drive for it. well worth it. super nice guy!

Brought my car here after my oil-cooler line decided to go. Was quoted a fair price and had the car back to me promptly. Good local mechanic, and I will bring my car back in the future.

Called morning of w an emergency ignition coil replacement. They had availability at noon same day and the new part available. Work was done within 30 minutes and I was only charged for that part of the hour plus the part. Drove 50+ miles immediately after with no issues! Not the most talkative people, but not rude by any means.

For a short summary for those that wont read all...this place has terrible costumer service!!! Read this review and you have been warned! If this rating would let me do a zero star rating then trust me i would. To begin with these guys are not professionals, they are barely shade tree mechanics. This is the second time that i have visited here, just figured I would give them a second chance. Everybody has their bad days, but nothing changes with these guys. There is a younger guy that works here in his 20's that is very friendly, unfortunately he isn't the decision maker here. There is a middle aged man and an older fellow, possibly the owner that both have terrible attitudes. I have experienced this both on the phone and in person. They can care less if they have your business or not. They have absolutely no people skills and they will talk to you like you are beneath them, especially the middle aged man. As for their work, it is half way. If they can skip steps to get it done quicker then it will be done. I could write more, but i just simply want to warn others before they make the same mistake i did. THIS PLACE WILL COST YOU MORE MONEY AND DAMAGE THEN IT IS WORTH!

One of the guys there is a "people person," and one is not. I try to deal with the younger guy, who is much more sociable. However, I've had good experiences with them as far as honesty goes. On more than one occasion they had the chance to make more money by doing something unnecessary or replacing something that didn't need it. At all times they didn't. I've taken my car to them three times now.

My daughter was leaving school for home near Raleigh and had engine trouble. Performance was able to quickly make the needed repair to get her on her way home the same day. Mechanic or owner doesnt have any telephone skills, as just now they told me "I aint dealin' with you no more fuc&er!" and hung up on a paying customer. They installed a heater box in a car without first checking to see if the control panel was functional (melted visibly), and recommended a part that was unneeded (something needed tightened is all), so I call to question the mechanic skills as well. This work they "sold" to my wife, so I feel that they do not treat women right here.Now they are refusing to refund money on parts that were unneeded and they said a month ago that they would refund. We are out $530 and have nothing to show for it whatsoever, except a heater box that cannot be tested since the wires and vacuum hoses were left stuffed under the carpet, unhooked.After I was cussed (and hung up on), I calmly called back and spoke to the same fellow. I told him I apologized if asking for the refund insulted him, but that no matter who ordered what or who I am or am not, you cannot speak to people like that on the telephone. His attitude was unchanged.

I brought my car in after rear ending someone. I assumed my car was fixed. Me and my 3 children plus two dogs spent a cold rainy night on the side of the highway. I don t know what cost so much for it to be worse than when it was brought in. Worst night ever.

Shady mechanics, they'll fix something while also messing something up to get you to come back. Very unprofessional and honestly just not very intelligent. Several times when I've been in a pinch they've helped me out. They are quick, reliable, honest, and their prices are fair.
