Put an order in Saturday afternoon, got text it was ready at 8:58 pm. Went to pick it up at 1:30 the next day waited over a hour to get two landscaping timbers and two stepping stones, ask for the manager, which had a terrible attitude and was not willing to resolve the situation. Cancelled the order and went to the store in Franklin, which everyone in the store was quick to help and very polite. I recommended the Franklin store if you want quick and polite.

I had a great experience at this Lowe's location. Austin, in the gardening section, loaded my many bags of mulch with a smile and no complaints. Great customer service!

Prices are cheaper online, but they refuse to price match their own products on their own website. They also refuse to price match guarantee anything, from any competitor site, as they stand below a sign that says "price match guarantee" - and here we enter the point in society where no one cares, no one employee, while they agree, can do a single thing about it, and no single manager can articular their reasoning. But this seems to be a global trend of intelligence and accountability drop-off, and policy over people increase. Do yourself a favor and call Lowes Corp. line directly to get the best price, or a price match guarantee as the employed drones there are incapable of doing the actual thing they say they do.. Hey Home Depot, move in already!

They hire racist employees! Yesterday myself, 2 young kids, and husband went to purchase security cameras. A nice lady from plumbing went out her way to help us and took them to the cashier at U-scan to hold on to for us while we finished shopping. I come back and tell her I'm ready to check out my camera's now. This dumb broad replies back with "It doesn't matter where you check out there's camera's watching you everywhere." I stare at her dumbfoundedly waiting for her to say she's joking or something. She was serious. I told her to go get my camera's the lady handed her a few minutes ago so I could check out and she stood there starring at us the whole time as if we were theives while using the register. It didn't sit right with me so I called to speak to a manager and they said they'd look into it. No apologies. NOTHING! Lowe's has permanently lost our business.

Went to Lowe's on 11/19/23 to purchase a DeWalt drill driver kit that was on sale. After waiting a little bit for someone to unlock the cage so I can make the purchase they asked me if I was ready to check out which I said I was. I was escorted to the cash register to make my purchase and not even allowed to carry the item as if they were afraid that I was going to run out of the store with their drill. I am a 62-year-old gentleman that was there with my dog.WOW! way to insult the integrity of your regular customers . I think from now I'll make my purchases elsewhere.

I bought a GE stove at Lowes in Sylva NC and it lasted 32 days exactly. Warrenty expired at 30. Lowes said check with manufacturer who quickly responded with no returns after 30 days. This was my experience, buyer beware.Update: the response I got from this google review was a phone number I called which was automated to sell me a repair. No thanks, I want nothing else to do with Lowes or GE.

I had a terrible experience with Lowe s out of Sylva this morning, my phone started ringing at 6:22 AM because a delivery guy was at my unit ready to make his delivery that wasn t supposed to be there till 8 AM, intern he left a $4500 purchase, five pallets outside in the rain of insulation what type of company would do something like this? They did not communicate to me that they would be at my unit at 6:30 in the morning . I will be shopping at Home Depot moving forward, the delivery guy can only say sorry I have to deliver at 6 AM because if I don t then I ll be out delivering till 10 PM without any communication, how was I to know that I needed to be at the unit at 6:30am? What type of company would leave a $4500 order out in the rain without prior communication that they would be an hour and a half early to delivery, at 6:22 AM, who is at their office at 6:22 AM?

Customer service is awful at this Lowe s location. If you know what you need and ca get it and go through the self check it s ok.

I can usually get what I need here but they are lacking in product selection in some cases. The employees are friendly, however and they allow dogs (Not just service dogs). But the best part of this Lowe's is it's garden center. That's the one place in this store where I've never been disappointed.

We ve shopped at Lowe s for years for our home and rentals but no longer.Recently had an issue with a leaking roof that was under warranty. Customer service in Sylva was non existent yet they gladly took our money. It took months of numerous calls and being put off before we got half the roof repaired. Worse experience ever and we are very disappointed.

Was AT FIRST very disappointed in the curbside service offered at this location. I showed up and checked in. As I pulled in there were 2 young boys loading up a truck with a few items. They then slowly shuffled back into the store. I then waited almost an hour before anyone came out with my order. I was the only person in curbside and there were workers everywhere walking by to get carts one by one and stumble around talking with no sense of urgency what so ever. Finally after waiting that long I called the store (I waited the hour assuming they were busy). I was connected with an employee named Liz who informed that she was new but happy to try and help. Liz was extremely friendly and personable on the phone even though I could hear her multitasking in the background dealing with customers. Within a few minutes Liz brought my order out to me personally. She was very professional and apologetic. I jokingly asked if she was working alone to which she informed me she was training, and kept getting left alone by her coworkers. This is all too normal in the work industry now and it s shame. Liz was amazing and I would return to Lowe s specifically to say hello and see how her day is going. Hopefully after training she fast tracks through the company because she s a worker and understands customer service even when under pressure and uncertainty. Thank you Liz you made our day!!!!

Only self check out. Problems with the system, scanner scanned same item twice. Why do I have to do everything myself. This is a public service company with no public service. This sucks. Will only go to Lowe's if I can't find it at my local ace hardware who has very good customer service. NO SELF CHECKOUT, AND PLENTY OF PEOPLE WILLING TO HELP YOU.

My closest LOWES and our place to go for any project. Well stocked with friendly service and helpful staff, the location is convenient and accessible even with a larger truck or trailer.

After I ordered and bought a color matched exterior Velspar Defense paint on 9/30/2023, I finished painting my shed which was a dark olive green. The Lowes matched paint looked correct except when it dried, then it looked very grey. Today, 10/3/2023, Tammy at Sylva NC Lowes refused to refund me the $64.98 plus tax. At the very start she had a less than good customer service attitude and it was clear she didn't care. I advised the paint was used (1/8 can) because when it dried it turned grey even though when wet in the can it was green. Tammy was borderline nasty (demeanor) and said because it was used, she would not refund it. Other residents in the area have advised me afterward that this Lowes is not good for paint. They told me to go to Sherwin Williams in Waynesboro, NC. This Sylva NC Lowes needs competition from another store close by to force them to clean up their act. Once that happens maybe they will care more about their customers who have spent lots of money at their inferior store supporting the salaries of some rude employees (not all!).

Lowes has a good selection of items at decent prices. They would do well to be customer service focused like their orange counterpart.Update on 2-22-23: The Sylva Lowe's has an employee named Bert who works in the appliance department. Bert single-handedly gained Lowe's another star in my review because he puts customers first. He cares. He gives Lowe's a good name. Bert provided me with hope that Lowe's is no longer a lost cause. Thank you, Bert! You are a shining star and I hope and pray that Lowe's recognizes your worth to their company!

I asked for help and the associate said he would be a couple minutes. Nearly an hour later, I still hadn't been helped by him nor did anyone else help me. So I left and ordered my power tool from Amazon. This is not the first time this has happened to me.

I bought $10,000+ of replacement windows plus installation on 7/31/2021. On 2/5/2023, I consider the job complete. Yes, that's right! Eighteen months to get it done! I have over nine pages of notes documenting every phone call and visit back to the store if anyone cares to see them. If it was possible to screw it up, the Sylva store did a perfect job. Everything from windows not fitting, losing replacement window orders and especially not acknowledging emails or returning phone calls. The only good experience and the reason I will give this one star is the third party installation crew. They were excellent. This store is as good as any if you want to go in and buy something and take it with you. But don't expect squat for service after the sale and they've got your money.

Very slow getting help I'm not a contractor, just a 70 year old disabled man 45 min later I received help,then I went to pay ,there were five I think you call them pros in front of me ,see iam just a coustmer so I wait,only one register open,the employee was doing his best he was also disabled. After twenty mins it was mine time,I asked the man why he was the only person open,the other cashier is on lunch management is supposed to get help but they never do their were 4 people at the front desk talking an playing,I asked him again about the problem his reply just like to see me sweat. Maybe Lowes is making to much money, and forgetting were the pay checks come from. Also no disabled parking in lumber section. Service after the sale their is none.

Pretty terrible experience curbside pickup of Samsung washer/dryer.Context: Hour + drive to reach this store from our home in the mountains. We purchased the appliances online specifically because they re were in stock. Email/text confirming availability, even gave aisle/ row addresses for each. Less than 24 hrs later, arrived for curbside pickup and had one of the worst customer experiences of our lives.3 HOURS in-store experience: managers lying about laying eyes on both items when only one was actually available, wasting our time going to check on status with zero updates, and even did an awful job loading (scraped our truck and tried to roll the appliance around instead of keeping upright). We ended up purchasing the floor model dryer (at a discount due to damage so 2 stars) to finish the whole ordeal. We could actually see it with our own eyes and, at that point, our eyes were the only things we could trust!Buyer be ware: employees-including management- have zero accountability or information. Just lots of computer glitches. Never again. We re working on a fixer upper and are both heavily DIY. We will drive the extra time and get to a Home Depot.

We wen't tonight to make a simple return on items that were bought for a house we are renovating. The items were all unopened and all purchased recently however tonight the person working at the return desk seemed to want to refuse the return before he even looked at the items. We had to spend half an hour just to return some cheap fans. This has not been a typical experience for us as this is our fourth renovation this year as have probably been to various Lowe's stores across North Carolina and Virginia over 100 times in the past year and made dozens of returns on unopened items without an issue. This Lowe's has been the worst one we have visited and I hope it improves in the future.

Great place to shop. I have shopped in store and ordered on line for pickup. All your associates were extremely helpful and greeted me when I approached them. I would like to give an extra compliment to Heather who works in the customer pickup area. She is extremely helpful, personable and a great asset for your company. She definitely deserves a raise and or promotion.

Needed a small circular. This is a very small Lowes so not a large selection. Ended up buying the only model they had but payed almost twice the price.Wonder why the cheaper model welas not stocked?

I love going to Lowes in person, however, I have had the WORST time with Lowes delivery services. I have spoken with so many representatives and have made complaints to customer care. I would love to see the store manage their third party delivery people better, or choose other people altogether.

Nice guy showed me where my item was and left to wait on someone else. I couldn't reach it though. I am 5'1" and everything there is above my head. They get mad when you try to stand on something but you can't find anyone to help. I assume that is the store's fault. Most people are nice... but the nice ones usually don't last long. Also, do not order doors or windows from them. .

This place is a mess. Things are not well stocked. Husband wanted 2x4x8 just a few out that weren't in good shape. Finally found someone to ask if they had more. Said they did, waited awhile no one came out with any so left. Many items were not priced, then we get to check out and the cashier can't find prices. She was told after finding price, that we felt was too expensive, that we did not want them. Later on we discovered we were charged for them( wall caps) that we didn't want or get! Did go back and get a refund, but we shouldn't had to. Need more employee training! And get out there and make sure prices are marked and shelves are stocked.
