I stopped by to get a new running light bulb, I had brought the old one, he sold me the wrong one, I went back in to show him the size difference and he promptly gave me my money back he never even looked up my truck on the computer like the guy at oreillys did and for a cheaper price!!!! SO LONG SUCKERS!!!! You SUCK!!!

The associate was kind and helpful. That's one of the reasons I always use Auto Zone over their competitors. They hire people who are knowledgeable, helpful and most of all treat you as a human. Thanks!

Robert Perez, Parts Sales Manager, helped me with replacing a defective battery. I did not have a receipt but he was able to find my account from the battery receipt for another vehicle. The battery was swapped out in minutes. Robert truly understood the meaning of great customer service.Larry Ingersoll 10-04-2022.

The manager here helped me on Sunday morning with a dead battery issue. Not a difficult issue but I would have been stranded without him. He went above and beyond with his knowledge and customer service.

I came in, unplanned in the morning, because my car wouldn't start and I was having a terrible time getting home. The staff was extremely polite and welcoming. Ernie, a staff employee did everything he could to help me and was very cordial and understanding. He cleaned up my battery, tested it, and replaced it. Ernie was very helpful! I definitely recommend this autozone! I haven't received service like that in quite a while. They were lovely! Thank you so much!!!

Auto Zone in Sylva NC is a very good automotive parts store. I was so happy this time because they had the type of motor oil that our van uses. And the clerk showed me on the computer screen that this was exactly the oil that my 2015 van needed. Problem solved light on dash is off and I didn't have to spend a fortune.

Excellent service! I went in for screws for my rattling license plate. Well I didn't have but the top two screw holes. So they helped me fix my rattle at no charge. Genuinely seemed happy to help me with my issue even though they weren't selling me anything. Their prices may be a little higher than the big box goliath in town. Their service is simply amazing! They have certainly earned my loyalty. Service means a lot to this customer. I love it!

The people that work here are very helpful. I like the fact that if a service light comes on they will hook up their handheld computer and tell you what's wrong with your vehicle, and they do it for free. I've always gotten great customer service from the employees and they've never tried to sell me something I didn't need.

If I could give negative stats I would. I brought in a motorcycle battery to be charged and they ruined the battery. Gave me another battery but we're very rude and wouldn't give me a receipt. Never will go there again!

I drove 6 hours to Cherokee only for my battery to finally give up on me. I have had problems out of this 5 yr battery from autozone numerous times. I came to this location, Tom and Richard are absolute super stars!! They helped me out quickly, very nice and eager to please. One guy completing my transaction the other installing my battery. I cant say enough about the service I received. This is how great customer service looks people take notice.

Service is top notch at this auto parts store. The staff are knowledgable, and attentive. Emplyees act in a professional manner. The store is well stocked and has a good selection and variety. The company advertises good sales weekly. Extra services are free, like bulb and wiper installation, battering charging, tool lending program, and they will run a diagnostic if your check engine light comes on. Employees are familiar with local businesses if you need a trustworthy referral.

I had broke down on a Friday night. The problem part was an alternator with lifetime warranty bought at my local store some 250 miles away. The next morning, Mike and his staff got my info and quickly and efficiently exchanged and warrantied the part. Very efficient and professional. Great customer service.

My car battery died three times and the check engine light was on. Took it to auto zone in Sylva NC and they ran the battery test as well as checked the code for the engine light. The first red flag was that the guys working there seemed under the influence. The engine light code said I needed a new battery, however they claimed the battery test said battery was fine. They poured sprite over the corrosion and sent me on my way (even though it s supposed to be a coke?). Drove the car home and the battery died again. So I took it to O Reillys the next day, they did the same exact test and the battery was a goner. There was acid leaking from the battery and the corrosion was so bad that the battery was hard to remove from the car. Definitely never going back to an auto zone again, plus O Reilly has a better theme song anyways. Shoulda gone there first

Called about an in stock part. Part cost $70 more than summit racing and Amazon (same part mfg and number) and while I wasnt expecting the manager to match dollar for dollar I was terribly disappointed when the"best" he could offer was 10%off. My point is this, always check online for prices, because the mark up in these stores is robbery plain and simple. I will have the same warranty and free delivery to my home tomorrow and saving more than $50. 2 stars because at least he wasnt rude....but sure wasnt trying very hard when Advance offers 20% off.... I would have probably bought it had he offered 20%. But hey....I guess you cant please everyone

I had the worst experience in this store when I went to purchase a radiator cap for my van. When I told the lady my information she could not find my actual car in the system. Her manager came over to help and informed me that the information I gave had to be wrong. I've been driving the car for years and I maintain it myself so of course I know what I am driving! When they insisted I was wrong again, I pointed out my vehicle in the parking lot and he went out to check , not believing that I knew what I was driving! He came back inside and said that I was right but she was putting it in the computer wrong and that was the problem. He didn't apologize and never did she for the rude behavior. If I could give it a negative star I would! I will never go back here!

I love this place. Had exactly what I needed and the woman who answered the phone was so very polite and helpful. And the man whom I picked up the part from was very knowledgeable and friendly. I will always come here 1st.

Excellent experience! Went in for wipers and manager found AND installed them! Was great cause I shopped the awesome store for great products at good prices. I will 100% return to the Sylva location for my applicable automotive needs, I suggest you do the same!

I was traveling in the area when my battery light came on. I stopped at this particular AutoZone at 5 minutes before they were too close and these people did me a solid. They went out of their way to help me out and even stayed open beyond normal hours. They were able to get the part I needed ordered and there the next day. They referred me to a great mechanic in town which is by the way MP Motorsports and those people were Fair and honest as well. My experience with this particular AutoZone was fantastic. In a difficult situation they were helpful, friendly, and very resourceful. That meant a lot to me because I did not have any options. Thanks guys

Went in sometime in the morning and was browsing, when an employee walked around the corner and screamed at the top of his lungs right next to me "GOOD MORNING CAN I HELP YOU FIND ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!", something totally inappropriate with how incredibly loud he was being. He seemed very off. Waited to speak to someone else at the counter and then the guy behind the counter ignored me, talked on the phone to someone about borrowing paper then walked away abruptly. So I was either screamed at or ignored. Left the store without buying anything or ever desiring to go back, felt totally harassed. The one young guy was obviously not hearing impaired either - which I had even considered a possibility, that is how unnecessarily loud he was, screaming at the top of his lungs. He responded to normal conversation fine and said "c-ya" when I walked out the door at a normal level. Very unprofessional... Had much better luck down the street at Advanced Auto Parts and Wal-Mart. Just avoid this place, it's really weird and they obviously don't like new customers. There are young ones around who obviously don't take their jobs seriously and are allowed to disrespect customers. I was going to buy quite a bit of stuff before that idiot screamed in my ear and that other young guy ignored me, too.

I was trying to get ready for a trip to Ohio in my Yukon with a LOT of miles on it. Mike, The Manager, Went above the call of duty helping me do things that my arthritis no longer allowed me to do myself. Even though we are facing snow/ice our new mirror, windshield wipers and a punch list of other stuff. We are going to see our new Grandbaby so I am pumped and Mike has made it possible for us to feel more secure in our travels. He was great!!!!!

A super friendly older gentleman hooked their battery tester up. Test shows I need a new battery, which means the best battery that Walmart sales, Everlast Maxx, only lasted 2 years. I believe I'll switch to a different battery company, unless they offer me free replacement.

This is the worst auto zone I have ever dealt with. If I could give them less than 1 star I would. I tried to call this autozone and order some parts for my truck. Well they tell me that I can't have parts sent to my house if they are in stock. So I sit on the phone with them for probably an hour trying to get the parts I need. We'll after talking to two different employees they never sent the parts or never even let me order. So I search another store in Google. The only one I can find open in in TN in a state next to mine. I have to call that auto zone and talk to two people at that autozone instead of getting the parts from an autozone that is 15 mins from my house. The first autozone I called down right refused to help me and eventually hung up on me. I had to call a different auto zone in a different state to find help. Now I don't want to bring up prejudice in a time like this. But every person I've talked to within in my Tribe says they have had the exact same problem with this autozone in sylva nc. Why is it that I have to call multiple different autozones to get the parts I need sent to my house? Because the sylva nc autozone location treated me like a wasn't worth helping and they didn't have the time of day to be bothered with helping a customer because they knew I was from Cherokee. Becuase I'm an Native American they refused to help me. If that's not the definition of discrimination, I don't know what is.

Went for a code read for check engine light, very responsive and loaned the tool as they were not allowed to enter customer vehicle due to pandemic. They read and printed the code for me after I hooked it up and brought in the stored codes.

Was on vacation in the area and had a headlight out. Was able to get help finding the right bulb and have it installed while my wife shopped elsewhere. Was quick and the staff was very kind and helpful.
