We broke down in the smokies by the Ruby mine. James came and got us and took great care of us and our vehicle and trailered golf cart. He stayed with us and made sure we we ok. He even took us to our motel. Derrick the mechanic/ owner was great also. They did everything they could to make this awful experience manageable. We are forever grateful and would recommend them to anyone!

We broke down within 2 miles of this shop, after business hours, and over 6 hours from home. Ridgecrest was on it, Mrs Lilly and Derrick kept my family from being stranded, even arranged a ride 1.5 hrs North to Pigeon Forge. By closing time on Saturday, Derrick and crew had the 5.7 Hemi rolling as good as new. He was polite, timely, fair and kept me updated throughout those few days. Can't speak highly enough about all those involved. They turned a potential nightmare into a manageable trip, that my family was able to enjoy. We're back home, safe and sound, in deep SW Ga. Next time through, I'll be stopping in to say hello. Thanks again, guys. The Lord blessed us once again. I can t recommend AAA Ridgecrest Towing highly enough. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. All of the employees I interacted with were polite and helpful. There is not one single thing that AAA Ridgecrest Towing could have done to improve my experience. The day my brother and I were leaving for winter break, we found out we had a dead starter. Though Mr Derrick didn t have to, him and his team changed our starter and got us on the road the next day. Amazing shop, care, and price! Thank yall so much!!

I was on my way to a work related training when my car completely just stopped going. I called Ridgecrest Towing and within minutes they were picking my car up. They drove me to the Auto shop where I was able to leave my car to be fixed. Derek and his employees fixed my car in a day. We had such a great experience we took my husbands vehicle in a week or so later even tho we live 40 miles or so from Ridgecrest. They are trustworthy, knowledgeable, dependable and reasonably priced. As long as we can get our car there.. we will make the trip for them to fix our vehicles from now on. This review is about my most recent experience with services I received at AAA Ridgecrest. It is one of many experiences there since buying a home & moving to Sapphire 6 years ago. My first service was with an issue with my sons truck which required towing and repairs. AAA connected me with Ridgecrest Sylva. From the moment the tow truck driver picked it up until it arrived and the owner called me to explain what was going on and exactly what was needed & proposed a clear plan to get it done quickly and efficiently everything went smoothly and I was updated often. Upon pick up I was received a very professional greeting by Derrick & his team and a step by step explanation of the service performed and why. My son & I felt very good about the repairs, the way we were treated and decided that very day we would call them anytime we needed advice on services for our automobiles. This most recent service on 2/3 included replacing a set of tires for my daughters 4Runner and an oil change. Luckily, they do a detailed safety check when they have the vehicle in for service , and as a result they found the front brake pads were defective & in serious need of replacement. I was very relieved that this was discovered and brought to my attention especially with the fact we dolive in the mountains with weather & terrain that require good brakes. We were very happy with the service we received : we took it in on Wednesday and it was ready to go on Thursday. My daughter drove it yesterday after we left and said Mom this feels brand new, the new tires are beautiful, quite and don t rub any more and I m so happy you took it to Ridge crest. I will go back there for all my oil changes and services because they reset my timing for oil changes. Yes, I know this was a very long review but it makes up for the ones I forgot to do ! My car broke down and I had to call AAA, shortly after Kyle from Ridgecrest shows up and goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that my car is cared for. He made sure that I was safe and that a plan was in place to get the vehicle fixed. Everything was amazing and what could have been a bad day turned into just another obstacle to overcome. Moving forward this is the only towing company I will be using.

EXCELLENT service after stopping in with a low tire pressure alert while traveling alone back to Greensboro. Needless to say, it was disconcerting!!They were very pleasant and took the car right in.Tires were checked, nail was found (luckily in center of tire), and tire was plugged and I was on my way! My recent experience with my car braking down was upsetting to say the least not to mention being in a place where I did not have a lot of options. My tow truck driver Kyle Roth (truck #29) represented AAA Ridgecrest Towing & Auto Services very professional. He was kind, understanding and a true gentleman. He helped me find a solution and stayed with me until it finalized. What a great company this is and what a great employee! The employees at Ridgecrest were incredibly accommodating. I was stuck in a small mountain town, 20 miles from home and without brakes. I am so grateful they fit me in on a Friday afternoon when no one else could. I will recommend them to everyone!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

They had previously done work on my car when my timing chain went out. They had done such a wonderful job, their customer service is above and beyond, the mechanics there are extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and kind, and they are very well priced and budget friendly with their services (including towing) that I did not hesitate to take my vehicle back. Both times the gentleman that towed my vehicle were wonderful. Matt is phenomenal. Not only was he able to find parts for my car and give me a very reliable quote, he went above and beyond to continue to seek the parts that might have taken longer to come in to find ones that they could get the same day, and parts that they could get at a cheaper price, and also saved me money as well in the long run. Marvin is a phenomenal mechanic. His customer service is also an above and beyond type, and he is extremely skilled as a mechanic and knowledgeable with cars. He didn t hesitate or shy away from showing me what was going on with my vehicle, answered every question that I had, and did amazing work with fixing my car. He even caught that the buffer in my gear shift had somehow gone missing, and took the time to replace that and fix it as well. AAA sucks IMHO. However, Ridgecrest Towing went far above and beyond to try to help me as much as possible. Jeremy, Mark, and everyone else I dealt with by phone were consummate professionals in every way, while making sure I and my property were safe and taken care of. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Our van broke down inside Great Smoky Mountain National Park. When we called AAA, it was Ridgecrest Towing that showed up and since we didn t know of other shops in the area, we had them tow it to Ridgecrest Auto in Sylva. We took a cab on to our destination in Tennessee and hoped for the best. The shop was communicative and helpful as we diagnosed and approved the necessary work. They completed the work quickly and at a fair price in time for us to pick up the car at the end of our vacation and drive it back to FL. They were honest and reasonable, and we were grateful as we were stuck in a bind and depending on them to come through for us. Would recommend Ridgecrest or use them again if f we get stuck in a nearby national park again!

This is one of the most amazing group of people in the towing/auto repair business that I have ever dealt with. Our motorhome broke down on a Saturday and my roadside service provider contacted them and they sent out a mechanic. He explained what the problem was, but was unable to fixed it on site. So they sent out a wrecker and towed it to the shop. The tow truck driver text me later that night to let me know it got to the shop with no problem. We went to a hotel.On Monday, they called and told us what it would take to repair it. We left the rv with them and continued our journey home. Over the next week they kept in contact with us to update us on the progress and then let us know when we could pick it up. When we got there, they told us there were some repairs they thought they were going to have to make, but didn't have toThey could have easily ripped me off, but didn't. They also charged me less hous than they actually worked on it and saved me several hundred dollars. The experience could not have been better.

I was out camping in my school bus which I have only partially converted into an RV. Turns out I snagged my transmission coolant line on a rock when venturing down an old road, and I called AAA to get it fixed so I could make it home. AAA, of course, is a bit of a sham as I discovered that day.No matter. Ridgecrest was completely reasonable, worked out a fair solution, came to the campsite and fixed my bus in only a few hours. A new coolant hose had to be fabricated and Marvin ran and got a new one in no time. Super friendly, very polite, and very efficient. Jeremy at the main office was also kind, thoughtful, and willing to work with me on an unusual vehicle that even AAA is weird about, even though I pay for the premiere RV service. It just comes down to this: AAA is a faceless national organization that is not honest to the terms of its own contracts. Ridgecrest is an example of real local people who are here to actually serve customers and go above and beyond the call. AAA goes beneath and far short of it. But I'm not here to bash them. Though I will.I'm here to say these guys were kind, thoughtful, reasonable, affordable, and I highly recommend them.Services: Transmission, Engine repair

These guys excelled, even though Hertz ran me all over the place. I think my driver was John. He was professional, and we had good conversation on the long drive to Knoxville from Cherokee. He got me where I needed to be and checked on me prior to leaving to see if I was set.It made a worse situation better. I would recommend these guys to anyone who gets stuck and needs a tow.

They made a bad experience wonderful. My tire blew out on Christmas Eve. Since I had a problem with my lugnuts, they had to tow it to their location. I was able to have it repaired.... on Christmas Eve. They were very kind and professional. Any issues with my car going forward will be consulted by Ridgecrest. Thank you guys.

Ridgecrest towing came out to assist me with a flat tire through AAA. Service was prompt, the technician was courteous and helpful, his suggestions on who might have a replacement tire in stock locally were spot on. Definitely will recommend.

We were traveling to the Smokies and had electrical issues with no control of the heat or air conditioning. Ridgecrest is AAA approved and was able to squeeze us in the next day since we were traveling. Service was outstanding! They took care of us right away, even though it was obvious they were very busy and repaired the issue, ensured everything was working fine and has us back on the road in an hour and a half. Had a noise under my hood upon pulling out on hwy 441. I pulled over, thankfully into their parking lot. Marvin came over to help. It was the serpinetine belt shredding. Matt located the part for repair the next morning (no driver at parts store). They checked the car over, replaced the air and cabin filters as well. They both went above and beyond. Price was fair.
