Dudes in the shop are rude. Multiple times I ve scheduled appointments just to come in and them tell me my appointment was never set up. Then they ll go back and forth with you even if you show them your confirmation. Really need to hire someone with better customer service back there.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience here Sunday!!! I was in on vacation and had an emergency with my tire and needed to get home, everyone working here on Sunday was extremely helpful and had me in and out of the shop in an hour. Miles was extremely helpful, professional and friendly!!! Easily the best and quickest experience I ve ever had dealing with a frustrating problem with my car!Service: Tires

I take my car to the center on Swansboro because they have the best service. People are always friendly. My appointments are on time so the wait time is to a minimum. Before I complete my shopping my car is ready.

Prices were fair enough, ($186 for 2 tires mounted, balanced and put on) I was the last customer of the day so service was quite fast. I purchased 2 new tires and wanted my front tires rotated to the back because they are older. They refused to rotate them stating the tread was just under some measurement. Well, DUH! That is why I wanted them on the back of my car! It is safer to have the new ones on the front. But, whatever... I have a jack and a tiretool- I am a woman but I can rotate my own tires and keep myself safe. I don't know if they thought I would buy 2 more tires right then (althoughbthey did not have any in the store) or if they just wanted 30 minutes instead if 20 minutes free at the end of their Friday. I was already planning on getting 2 more tires next week and I told the technician that when I came in. My fixed income doesn't allow me the luxury of purchasing 4 tires at once. I will return for the other two tires and accept Wal-Mart's automotive center for what it is- affordable installed tires.

I bought tires for my car and also needed a tire put on a rim for our lawnmower. The day before my scheduled appointment I had a meeting conflict for my schedule at work. I had planned to get the tires put on during lunch. I called the service department and asked if I could come in a little earlier. They said they d do their best to help and they did! I was able to get home in time for my meeting thanks to the service people here. My tires are a name brand at a good price. I also added the road hazard insurance that can be honored at any Walmart if need be (hopefully I ll never have to use it)!

Don't know why Walmart has phones they don't answer them but office people will give you any excuse that comes up in their mind , and as I guessed the self checkout stations have more not in use than In use go figure

For a corporate organization, these guys are great. Had a blow out the night before and came in the next day to get it fixed. I was in and out in 25 mins. The young guy at the counter (I think his name was Andrew) was very helpful and tried to get me all the discounts he could. Even called me to tell me that I left my debit card there on accident. Top notch customer service. I was in a hurry with a blowout. Had the vehicle left on the highway. These guys wasted no time getting me a new tire mounted and back on the road. Drove an hour out here for nothing. Set up a tire and oil change appointment for 6 this evening gave them the tire number and was told they had 3 different kinds for my vehicle. Got there and gave them the keys. Asked how much the tires would be and the older gentleman was very rude the entire time. An hour later I get a call saying they been trying to put 15 inch tires on my 17 inch rims.Was told they only had one kind of tire for that size and they only had 3 of them. They were 50 dollars more a tire than the original quote I was given. Told them to forget it went back to get my keys and no one was there to even talk to me. Left my keys just siting there on the counter.They did nothing to try and fix the situation Also didn't do my oil change. Will be getting in touch with corporate.

Stood at the counter for 15mins then a lady comes up to the counter with a binder in assumed she was going to help us however I said Hey how are you doing? She looked at me walked away. Tried to call the auto place mutiple times while I was there and actually answered the phone at the auto desk. Wow what service. Anyway I found the tires I needed at Silence tire in Jacksonville had the ones I needed for a great price.

So I asked to have 2 Dextero DHT2 tires put on my truck to replace two worn out ones and so they would be the same as the other tires on my truck.Guy said can do and told me we would get text updates. Walked to get some breakfast and before I got out of Walmart got a text saying they started on my truck. Cool I got a text from them. 10 minutes later remember I wanted the new tires put on the front, called them and stated such and they said no problem. Went back to Walmart guy says so hope you are not disappointed but I didn't have your tires so I upgraded you to General Grabbers. Say what, why didn't you call or text me. So what do I do now, make them take them off and put my old ones back on? Stupidity. I was a text away. Aw, by the way even though the new tires were not what I asked for they also put them on the rear. Remember I asked for them to be on the front. Guy said he gave me the General Grabbers at the same cost of the tires I wanted. Appreciated but not what I asked for and now I have non matching tires on my truck. I am not superficial so not a big deal but yeah let's pay these incompetent people a higher minimum wage because rhe obviously deserve it.Service: Tires

I called and set up an appointment for Monday at 9am. Unfortunately, I was told my appointment was not written down/didn t exist. That was frustrating, but the lady who helped me was nice enough to still try and get me in. It took over an hour until I could leave, which cut into my plans for the day. Disappointed with the man whoever I spoke to on the phone, as he obviously never wrote my appointment down and was very rude on the phone. Grateful that they still were able to get me in despite all of that none sense.Service: Oil change

Had an appointment and was calling to make sure my tires I ordered were there over a 10 min period and was transferred up to the main phone 3 times. Drove up there and told I was 30 mins late(I live an hr and 15 mins with 0 traffic away but they shut our city's auto center down for Covid). Tell the guy I been calling to make sure I was not wasting my time and the tires did not show up because the app said they were no delivered yet. And was told he has been standing there the whole time and the phone never rang once then oh it rang and I answered it. Ok whatever. Then he goes on to set me up to get my car in and I have to ask where the tires are and he runs off to find them. The phone rings 3 times with no one to answer it and 2 customers walk up wait and leave. 20 mins later he reappears to tell me he can not find my tires.come to find out they were sitting on the sales floor not checked in and now I'm 1:15 late on my appointment and told I will have to be fit in. A hr and 45mins later no phone call saying my car is done or anything and i been stuck at this store i go and to ask about my car. 30 more mins before he reappears and the phone is ringing off the hook no one to answer still. Finally I ask and get told my car has been done(thanks for the call) I pay and finally am allowed to go on with my day. I have never had this issue with a Walmart auto center until this time and I use them all the time.

I went in yesterday to look for some oil. I was clueless as my vehicle is relatively new to me. An associate who was sweeping the area asked if he could help and wasn't able to offer much assistance, but I thanked him nevertheless for trying. This gentleman (I didnt get his name :-/) went and found a more knowledgeable member of their staff. After a few questions that I couldn't answer he told me to finish my shopping and then pull my car around to their auto care center doors.When I got back there he was waiting for me! He had the book of info for both oil filters AND oil. Helped me locate them in the books and then pulled them off the shelves for me using his personal preferences for brand and ease of use. Ronald, you were such a lifesaver for this out-of-the-know lady. Thank you so much! He was so polite and not condescending when I didn't have answers. I really appreciated his help!

Not ever again. Wife has been taking our vehicles there for the past year and never had a problem till today. Wife got an oil change, she went to go out to her car she has had less than a year and it shook very, very bad and stalled. She went and got a manager, another guy that worked there with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth was like it probably needs a tune up. Umm no it didn't. he looks at it further and says, oh the tube isn't connected because they disconnected it to do the oil change. Manager at the time didn't offer any kind of compensation when it was paid to be maintained and wasn't properly. Wife asked for refund and Justin the manager was very nice and did that but they lost our business.

Did not seem knowledgeable and did not have the oil for my vehicle in stock. Just go to you local mechanic shop instead of here.

Went for an oil change and the mechanic who did my oil change put my oil filter on so loose it fell off going down the road I lost all my oil and blew my engine which is costing me $6000 I will not be bringing any of my vehicles back for any reason what so everService: Oil changeService: Oil change

First off..not sure these dudes know what they are doing. Really only went in there for a car battery. They didn't have it on the shelf so I asked the lady behind the counter, she was helpful to the point where she went to look but didn't have keys to the back room. We waited for a manager to show up to unlock the room, then the room where they stored the batteries was in such disarray that they had to call other associates to move the batteries and stock the shelves. After about 30 minutes they didn't have what I needed. I love this Walmart and for the most part there are competent people who work there but every company has those who have no idea what there doing or have the physical capacity to lift objects. Also over heard the conversation that the associates had about the batteries and how they were dropped during delivery...

I m not sure how good this place is because they didn t answer their phone for me to see if they have my size tires in stock. I m not driving almost an hour on bald tires and wasting gas when they can have someone available to answer the phone to see if tires are in stock.

They were very busy and about to close when I walked in but they fit me in anyways. I had a flat and had it in the back of my car, They took it out patched it and put it back on in no time! Thank you!

I have never bought tires from somewhere and they charge you separately to put them on.....new tires at that.....smdh
