Amazing shop on so many levels. They are extremely transparent, easy to work with, and they stand by their work. They have also done great work with finding recalls and saving customers money on repairs that could have been financially debilitating to their customers. I don t want anyone else touching my truck. I appreciate what y all do!

J&T Automotive is veteran-owned and is my goto mechanic for anything I cant do. The owner, Blair, keeps it real with straightforward, hourly pricing, so you know exactly what you're paying for. Blair's honest advice means you won't get roped into unnecessary repairs. If you want a reliable mechanic who's got your back, J&T Automotive is the way to go. I highly recommend.

J&T Automotive has been a Godsend, for me. My husband found this business, about 8 years ago & was so impressed with it, he sent me there. I haven't been back to dealer, since.I've been a widow for 3 years & anything about my car, even air for my tires, when the sensor light comes on, Blair & his crew are there!Just the other day, my battery bit the dust & Dustin came to my home, to get car started, to get to shop, in his own vehicle! Luckily, the old battery was under warranty, of which, I would of never thought of. Blair, the owner, remembered that I had gotten from his shop. He pulled up my file & sure enough, it was. I can't think of any business that would do that...any other business would just take your money..Blair is an honest man, who hires honest people & genuinely cares about his customers!Give J&T Automotive, a try...you won't go anywhere else, after. Going to J&T Automotive makes me feel, like I matter. ..

Blair is the owner of the business and he was absolutely fantastic. I needed a new front differential on my Yukon. I called a few other automotive repair shops and some wanted to charge me just to look at the Yukon. I called J & T Automotive and Blair did not charge a fee for an estimate for labor and parts like other businesses around Swansboro. After Blair looked at the vehicle, he did agree that I needed a new front differential, and a CV axle. Blair did not agree that I needed to replace the hub bearings as a previous automotive shop recommended that I do. Blair will not try to up-sell you on any repairs that are not needed at the time. He was upfront, honest and transparent with me. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing automotive repairs done. Blair ultimately saved me $1500 from the other automotive shop that looked at the Yukon.

Highly highly recommend this place! Jeremy was awesome he obviously takes pride in his work. Took an older truck a1988 model and it had quite a few repairs needed (AC wasn t working, transmission leak, oil leak, antifreeze leak, speedometer not working, and general repairs) they stayed up to date with me and called with information on parts, what was need and pricing all along the way. They were able to completely fix my old truck and did it very quickly too. Even did a 1 on 1 walk around with Jeremy and he explained everything they did to it. Couldn t recommend this place enough. I had some extra lights pop on while I was leaving from vacay last week. This place was recommended by a local friend. I popped in, and he fixed me right up. Thankful it wasn't anything major!Great staff and service! I def recommend!

Great service and quick as well. Dropped off my truck for state inspection so it could "be worked in", left it at 8am and it was ready by 11am. Quick, professional and courteous. I will go here again.

I took my motorcycle in to get a safety inspection done so I can get a registration they were very professional very kind and well organized. I would recommend this place to anybody. I made an appointment got in the next day I was they're 20 minutes at the most. These are some good people. Even the tow truck driver had nothing but great things to say about them. They rescued my alternator repair from me. I got halfway through but realized that I couldn't complete the repair. It took them 1 hour and 30 minutes after they called me initially with the total cost to text me and tell me it was done. I couldn't be happier. Prices are INCREDIBLE. I paid a little more than $200 for the labor and an oil change (I supplied the new alternator). Blair and his team are awesome. Absolutely making this shop my go to.Service: General repairs & maintenance

This is now the only place i take my vehicles to for any service. Prices are more than fair and more importantly Blair, and the staff, are the most honest mechanics I've ever dealt with. They will not FIND something wrong that isn't wrong. You won't have to worry about your total repair price getting jacked up due to questionable prices. They even helped sell a vehicle for me. Ripped off. Requested cash. $800 repair then $600? Did not fix problem I brought car in for. Promised refund. Never sent refund. Had to pay $250 somewhere else to fix original problem. Double tipping?

I visited this shop for an alignment because of steering wheel shake, being somewhat mechanically inclined myself, I thought that was the beginning steps of my vehicle's problem. The receptionist greeted me which such a great attitude and professionalism, I went through the necessary paperwork and waited about 5 minutes to discuss my issues with the head mechanic. He listened and immediately went to work. After checking over my wife's car, he came to tell me that I really needed new tires due to a slight bulge in one front tire and the punctured tire i already knew about. They actually had a set of 4 lightly used tires for a great price. Its just nice to know there are still shops that will explain a problem instead of charging for work thats not completely necessary. I got the tires without the alignment and the steering wheel shake stopped.

Awesome service, went to get my car inspected, was in and out. Super nice people, and learned that they take in abused and abandoned dogs, nurse the dogs back to health and take them to a trainer and find homes for the dogs. I know that it's off topic being that they are mechanics, will be taking my vehicle there whenever I need work done to it.

We were driving back to Virginia after a week of vacation and had an issue with the car engine. We pulled in to J&T; they were closed but Blair (the owner) was so kind and helped us get back on the road safely. He s one in a million and we will never be able to thank him enough. Can t recommend more whole heartedly.

I highly recommend this shop. I was visiting my family and noticed some vibration on the way in town. I made an appointment. He was able to identify the vibration and let me know I would need shocks soon as well. Knowing I was from out of town let me know what the cost would be. He test drove it before he was done. I would use them anytime I am in town..

In the past I've always had to go to a friend or aquaintence to ensure a fair deal on car work but the last few years I've been coming here and have gotten nothing short of a fair shake. Every one is friendly, the price is always right, and I couldn't recommend any place more for good and timely work.

Great service, great people. You might want to call ahead of time to make sure they can fit you in. They stay busy.
