Amy was super helpful and friendly. She took my trade in as a down payment and helped me find somewhere to get financed. Very understanding when I ran into any issues. They have a thorough catalog of any issues the cars have on their website, including the Carfax. Like most of these used dealers, they get a lot of their cars at auction. If you do your research and have the car inspected, you might find a great car at a reasonable price.

Great place to buy a used vehicle. Cheap, great customer service, and super friendly. I highly recommend. It is an as is dealership, don t expect a cheap car to be the best reliable vehicle. Sad to see some reviews about the vehicles become the dealer s problem because the buyer didn t look at everything before purchasing.

I recently bought a car from AutoHause of Asheville for the second time. I'm very impressed with their dedication to helping their customers feel comfortable and confident about their purchase. The first car I bought had no issues whatsoever, I drove it for 2 years and loved it. The second car I bought started having some issues the day after purchase. My sister and I expressed our concerns to Amy, and she immediately sent us to the service shop so the owner (Alan) could take a look. Alan went above and beyond to make sure the car was safe for my sister and her baby. Alan replaced about $200 in parts, and spent an entire day of labor on the vehicle at no charge whatsoever. Not only that, but he gave us a 90 day powertrain warranty just in case. I was overly cautious this time around because I was the one investing the money, and I just wanted to make sure I was making the right decision. Amy and Alan were both patient, kind, and followed through on absolutely everything they said they would. I'm very grateful for the entire team at AutoHause. This is the only used car dealership I would recommend in Asheville. For the people leaving bad reviews, all you need to do is communicate with the staff and they will do what they can to make things right. Amy and Alan did not have to do any of this for us since technically you're buying the car "as is" but they both have big hearts and clearly care a great deal about customer satisfaction. Thank you again AutoHaus for everything you do!! I will absolutely continue to send customers your way.

Very unhappy with the service at this establishment. I bought a 2001 subaru from here a few months ago.. Not even 2 weeks after purchasing the "as is" car I found out it had head gasket issues. The owner was not helpful and completely denied any issues with the vehicle. Then not even 2 weeks after the head gasket issue the radiator started leaking and the muffler fell off!!! Avoid this business at all costs. The owner completely lied to our faces and told us we had a great deal. IT'S NOT A RELIABLE ESTABLISHMENT. I completely regret my purchase.

Though the buying experience was good, many problems were covered up on the car I purchased from their lot. I test drove the car really well and even took it to a nearby mechanic to thoroughly check it over. Mechanic noted some minor issues, but overall seemed to be good. I purchased this car with my last remaining funds as my last car no longer works. The purchased car is a 2010 Toyota Highlander with only 130k miles. I check the Carfax as well before I arrived and it seemed to have regular service.A few days after purchase, I noticed the front left and back left lights were out. Brought it to a mechanic and the wires had been disconnected, which was strange. I didn't check the lights at the dealer. Then the driver's side door lock stopped working and I cannot lock it anymore, though the other door locks work. I also didn't check this at the dealer as I was looking for more major issues. The driver side window started having issues as well and even got stuck at one point. It seems to be off track or something as I have to manually guide it as it rolls up, otherwise it leaves a gap at the top. The windows worked fine at the dealer. The air conditioner also stopped blowing cold air a couple weeks after purchase. It worked when I checked it at the dealership.Lastly, two weeks after purchase, before I even received the title/tag in the mail, I noticed the transmission started acting like it couldn't decide which gear to be in. Then It started vibrating and humming loudly when I first crank it and put it in reverse. I paid a local mechanic to check it over and they couldn't find anything major but the fluid was disgusting. They changed the fluid but the same problems persisted. It could cost me 5k or more to replace the transmission. During the test drive and check the transmission ran great.I paid 10k for this car thinking it would be a good buy for a car that would be reliable for years to come. I pray that the transmission doesn't break down completely as I would no way to drive and I no longer have money in savings since I used it to purchase this car.Don't buy from them. They do a wonderful job at hiding problems on cars long enough for you to purchase it. I have spoken to other people who have had this same experience and are left in terrible situations, one lost their job because they couldn't get to work after the car they purchased from this business broke down days after. If Auto Haus would like to correct this terrible problem, they can contact me to pay for a transmission replacement. It hasn't been two months since purchase and I drive like a grandma because I can't afford any chances.I hope this review helps someone!

Friend bought a car from them and it broke down on the first day. When we reached out with what had happened they proceeded to never call back or answer text messages. DO NOT TRUST these people. Horrible experience.

Excellent Experience but as soon as we pulled off the lot the service light went on and we missed the right rear backup light being out and tires being two different sets front and rear.

I've now bought 2 cars from Amy and her amazing crew.First.... this is a dealership that deals in previously owned car's , so I suggest you go in with that in mind. Amy has a great selection of cars and she and her staff are all knowledgeable about their inventory. This is not a shady buy here , pay here lot. This is a real dealership. They can usually find something in your budget.I did purchase a 2007 Dodge Caliber SE the Friday prior to Christmas Eve. Due to weather my car would not start that next morning. AAA came out and gave me a incorrect diagnosis saying it was the alternator. Obviously I was upset and it was Christmas weekend.I did email Amy and left a voicemail.Early the day after Christmas... like 7 am I received a text from Amy apologizing for not getting back to me sooner. I got the car to their service center and Amy gave me a loaner car as she knew I had missed work on Saturday. By 2 o'clock the situation was taken care of...part of the problem was the battery due to weather freezing weather. That's been a week and I love my car, it's running great with no issues. Reading a couple other reviews of people complaining about their purchase only had to contact Amy and her amazing service center crew and the problem would be taken care of, like my issue was handled.I know next time I need a car I will definitely go back to Auto house. Thanks Amy for the best costumer care.

I have purchased several vehicles here, and the prices, quality and attentiveness are top-notch for what has always been a mechanically-sound vehicles. The prices on their vehicles are often the lowest for comparable vehicles in a 200+ mile radius. They will also let you take you r potential purchase to your personal mechanic fir an inspection - BUT - They have an affiliated shop just up the road! They service anything necessary on their vehicles before sale, AND you can continue to bring you vehicle to them for service after purchase at GREAT hourly rates compared to corporate-owned shops. Not only do I continue to use their shop, but have referred several friends to great reports as well. So, if you want a good car at a super-fair price with excellent follow-up service available, I would highly recommend checking out their inventory to see if they have what you are looking for.I am STILL loving the Jeep Commander I got a couple years ago, and have no intention to ever get rid of it!!

Great buying experience here. I love that they provide the carfax report for free. Staff were friendly and not pushy. We test drove a few and settled on one we liked. It had an A/C issue we discovered on the test drive which they tried to fix before we picked it up. Drove off lot an hour home and realized the A/C wasn t completely fixed and check engine light came on. They said bring it back ans we will make it right. They replaced the A/C compressor and two oxygen sensors. We were very grateful. The lot we had visited previous to there wouldn t have done that. You re buying a used car so definitely do your homework and don t expect perfection. They service their own vehicles If something comes up though don t hesitate to call and ask if they can help.

This was my first experience buying a used car- and such a great experience at that!! I basically had no clue what I was doing but the two women who I worked with were absolute saints! They were patient with me and did not overcharge/take advantage of my lack of knowledge. I would 100% recommend buying a car from here! They also have great financing available- especially for first-time buyers!

Wish I could give more than 5 stars. After months and months of debate I purchased an Audi A7 from here Everyone was so Patient with me in my heavy debates. I signed paper work in less than 5 minutes and left with one of my dream rides. What i love the most is that one day i walked in and saw Amy (owner). Out there detailing cars at the same time multi tasking with customers. That is the prime example of true leadership. I encourage all car shoppers to swing by this place. You will not be disappointed.

My husband bought a truck in early February and was told that they had done a lot to it. It s a 2003 Dodge with only 79,000 miles. We thought we were getting a decent truck. We ve had it 3.5 months and it s been in the shop 3 of those, and now the check engine light has come on. After spending out a couple of thousand dollars on repairs, it s going back in the shop. I called and spoke to a lady the end of March at Auto Haus and explained the trouble we ve had and she was going to call me back, but of course she didn t. So, if you find a vehicle your interested in, check it out good and don t trust what they say.

People are going to complain all they want but did you really do your research before? This company is so straight forward about their cars. Every vehicle on their website comes with several pictures of the frame, any rust, close-up shots of any damage, and a carfax you can look at with one click. I was looking for a 4runner and the biggest thing I was looking for was a rusted frame. No other dealer that I found includes pictures of the frame on their website so it made it really hard to search online. I drove over 2 hours to get here because they had pictures of the frames on all of their inventory. I'm not saying anything about the overall quality of the cars, I'm just saying they are upfront about their cars before you get there so you know what to expect.Huge inventory for good prices. Most of the cars are over 100,000 so don't expect perfection but you get what you pay for. No salesmen tried talking to us while we were looking at cars which was a little weird but also took a lot of pressure off. They were more than happy to answer questions and didn't hesitate when I asked for 6 pairs of keys to compare cars. We took a nice long test drive and were pleased, so we walked away with it. Very friendly and honest, which is refreshing when looking for a used car. Just make sure you bring a mechanic to inspect a car before purchasing and you will be pleased with this business

Had a very awesome experience here! The staff that is there is extremely nice! There is a good selection of cars with the budget that I have. They let me take to my mechanic who said everything looked really good! They also have a full time service center if we needed it. . The detailing was awesome!

Not only is the car selection great, but they have the best staff. Not too pushy, but let s you know they are there if you need them. They worked with our budget. They let us get the car inspected before we bought it, and everything looked wonderful. I m so happy to have worked with them and have chosen this car lot. Not to mention ... getting to look at the cute guy with the long hair made it even better.

I thought I was getting a decent Toyota Highlander at fair market value to find out they didn't tell me it had a power steering fluid leak and they erased the code so the check engine light wouldn't come on for a shoddy catalytic converter until 3 weeks after purchase. Oh and it took them weeks to mail me the title.

Overall, a positive experience. It's a no-frills, straight forward used car dealership. Got a good deal on my trade-in. Fairly solid inventory to choose from. Discovered the AC was out in the car I wanted to buy and they included repair/replacement of the compressor without any additional cost to me.The "lot" itself is not easy to get in and out of, is on a slope with hardly anywhere to park your own car. Nevertheless, staff was friendly, available, and knowledgeable. If you're wanting someone to take you by the hand in your car-buying experience, this probably isn't the place for you. I don't mean that in a negative sense. Simply to say what you see is what you get. If you need to buy a car and know what you want, this is place is worth checking out.And Sophie, the dog, is super friendly!

BEST car buying experience ever!!I've bought a lot of cars in my life, but never had an experience this easy and pleasant.Alan and Mandy are the nicest people, and Sophie is the sweetest four-legged helper around!Their prices are fair and on-track for the car's value, and the owner went above and beyond to make sure my car was in excellent condition before I drove off the lot.If you need a quality used car, but don't want to spend time being yanked around and getting stuck paying a high price - you need to call Alan!

Amy was extremely helpful, my mother and I took 2 cars off the lot and had them looked at by a local mechanic. Ended up buying a mini van a few weeks later I heard a humming noise so I called and she told me to go to there shop and have it looked at. It was a minor repair and I was willing to pay out of pocket since these cars are sold as is , but they took care of it for me on them, they didn't have to do that I was very gratefulwould highly recommend auto hause of Asheville they were very kind and helpful with everything.ill definitely go there first when looking for a new car.

This review has been a long time coming. Won't share my bad experiences as an employee for 2 years but a car lot is a car lot. The owner Allen is a wonderful human and the low pressure sales environment is an excellent model for the used car business. Mike and Gerald (the Subaru mechanic) at the service dept are two in a million and I've put 210,000 miles on my 99 since they rebuilt my motor and it's still running strong. My overall evaluation reflects the ethics of the sales person who is as shady as they come, extremely prejudiced towards people with disabilities and certain ethnic backgrounds, and makes neputism her perogative for employment. As a customer, you should consider your investment carefully as these are auctioned cars from up north and are priced quite high for the industry but they are professionally detailed to look "babied". Definitely look at the frame. Being purchased at auction means that the licensed wholesale dealer has 45 seconds to look at a stock vehicle before bidding starts but can not drive or inspect thoroughly so "paper weight purchases" as we called them aren't intentional but business still has to recoup it's investment so the sales of lemons are absolutely intentional. You do have a right to have your non-affiliated mechanic inspect your potential vehicle on a test drive in North Carolina and I would like to encourage any potential customer not to buy hastily. Don't be surprised if the check engine light comes on during a test drive after passing inspection. I have learned 22 different "quick tricks" to make a lemon pass the NC state inspections, which are not illegal in the state, and all sales are "As Is" once finalized. Their selection is attractive with a lot of desirable cars for WNC that are hard to find like small 4x4 trucks, work vans, luxury imports, Subarus of course, and some pretty interesting projects from time to time. Not saying you won't find your dream machine somewhere in there but please take your time and think carefully, have a mechanic you trust check it over which is your right to do, and answer your phone if you do take longer than 1 hour because you might get the cops called on you when the staff reports a stolen dealer tag if you don't. Also if you have read this much and aren't bored yet but are still considering doing business with this company, be a good human and demonstrate to Amy that racist and bigoted people in Asheville are a minority at this time.

When I walked in the door to the office, all the salesman were wearing masks and practicing social distancing very nicely. They were very helpful and let me browse their selection alone and afterwards walked through the lot with me and gave me all the information I needed and asked for on the cars. They were all very nice and helpful and had a nice selection of cars to choose from. They let me take the car for a pre-purchase checkup to a mechanic of my choice and have very aggressive pricing. I am very happy with my purchase!

Purchased a vehicle yesterday and was a great purchase! My family loves it and so do I! The body had a little rust so we were able to negotiate a price and they completely understood my concerns and offered a more than fair price! Will definitely be coming back in the future!

We saw a car online, called right away and made an appointment for the next day. When we arrived at the office, they pulled the car we wanted to see around for us right away, we looked it over, drove it, went back inside and bought it. A really smooth experience. The office lady was helpful and knowledgeable. All in all, I definitely recommend!

I was super happy with the experience. We had searched around at a lot of car lots and honestly their inventory was in the best shape and the best priced. The people who work there were informative but not pushy at all , at all. It was great. I hate being harassed from the moment I step on the lot. They were the opposite of that. I think they are aware that if the cars are good enough they will sell themselves. We got an amazing deal on a Nissan Xterra for my girlfriend and the whole process was just a breeze. I would easily recommend these folks to anyone who is in need of a good used car. Thanks to everyone there and we are loving the Xterra we thought we wouldn't find for the right price.

Had a very positive experience. Found a couple SUV's at good prices that I was interested in. Staff was VERY patient and accommodating, as I test drove multiple vehicles over multiple days, and allowed me to take my final choice to my mechanic to look it over. Friendly, informative, helpful. Pleasant experience and I'm very happy with my vehicle so far.
