I am very thankful that Chris was willing to help is with our van. He is the only honest mechanic we have found here since moving from CA. He has helped us greatly. He definitely knows his trade and explains in detail what he finds wrong. I've never left a google review before. I needed a new radiator. I went to Chris and he diagnosed I needed a new radiator and hoses. He has the exact same truck as me. I dropped it off when he wasn't there and he only has a landline, so that is a bit complicated, but when I came back he had replaced my radiator, hoses, and reconnected a lot of lines and hoses that were draining my gas efficiency. The truck is running great and I'm getting much better mpg since going to him.

Parrish Automotive saved our vacation! We had an issue with our alternator while traveling to the beach and thank goodness we found Chris. Not only did he give my husband rides to/from our condo but he worked in the evening so our SUV could be ready to use the next day. Mr. Chris Parrish saved me and my vacation.� I was visiting Holden Beach from Maryland, which is a 7 hour drive.� My car was making noises when I arrived on a Saturday and didn't try driving my car again until Wednesday to go a short distance.� I smelled burning and the battery light came on.� I noticed that the closest mechanic with the best reviews was Parrish Automotive.� I called Mr. Parrish in a panic and told him what happened and that I was set to leave on Friday morning.� He had me bring it in right away and he diagnosed the issue there for me.� He said he would try his best to order the part I needed (water pump & belt) and get it done the next day if the part arrived.� He squeezed me in after another big job he had that Thursday night at around 6:30-7:00 PM.� He called at 9:00 PM and let me know that my car was ready to go.� He let me pick it up at 9:30 PM and charged me a very reasonable price for working after hours and a rush job. He showed me the damaged parts and explained what had happened.� This was the best car maintenance visit I've ever had.� I feel like I learned a lot about something I have no clue about. He is an honest mechanic and business owner. I highly recommend Parrish Automotive. Thanks Mr. Parrish!� (NOTE: If you use a credit card, you'll get a 4% fee to run the card, not his fee. Mine was only $18 and well worth it.� He accepts cash or check for no fee.)**Look for the garage behind his house in a large white building. Not a typical service station. I was visiting and called the local Ford Dealer and they could not fit me into their schedule. I was able to work out arrangements with Parrish Automotive as he took time to listen to what i was describing and diagnosed the problem over the phone. I brought mu ex[edition in and he was able to fix it like he thought and also spent time showing me the damaged components and micro chip. This is a very professional place of business so be patient as he does things right the first time.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

My family was visiting Holden Beach for Father's Day weekend and on Friday night the alternator went out on our van. We were staying in Supply and called Chris at 7:30pm, he answered, found the part we needed and was willing to work on Saturday to get it fixed for us. We got the van to his shop on Friday night and he even gave my husband a ride back to our airbnb, The alternator was replaced and we had our van back by 1pm on Saturday and was able to salvage the rest of our weekend, which included scattering my father's ashes into the Atlantic. We were so appreciative of his hard work on typically his day off, plus during a holiday weekend!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Was visiting holden beach and our car would not turn on no matter what we tried. Called around and no one answrred but Parrish automotive. He came out after hours during dinner time and was more than willing to assist with our car issue.

Had a noise under a 1999 s10. He found problem, called and gave a quote to fix , very timely, knowledgeably. Quote he gave was cheaper than he thought after fixing. Seems to be a very honest person. Noise is also fixed
