Took my car here recently. I told them my coolant was low and needed it to be added. I was then told I need a new radiator and all the pieces and parts that go with that! So an expensive repair later, still having same issues and the place I took today said no coolant was in it at all! None- Wouldn t you think all my fluid levels would be checked since I asked that initially? And that is a big part of a radiator fix? This would have been a costly repair if not blown the motor. I have been a long time customer and loved this est. and had recently been told my car was great. Then, one visit later had a laundry list of things I needed to have done with high price tag? Just not sure- I feel I paid a lot and it wasn t fixed. The coolant shouldn t be empty after just having a whole radiator system replaced.

Don t bring your car here if you want it to get looked at the same day. Was told to bring my car in at 9am for them to see if they could diagnose and hopefully fix my passenger door (vehicle thinks it s open when it s not). I called around 330pm to see if they were going to be able to get to it today or if they would be keeping it overnight. The lady on the phone tells me that it hasn t been looked at yet but she would give me a call when they figure out the issue. I asked her to give me a call back if they weren t going to be able to do it today and she said ok and now the business is closed and I never got a single call. This is the second time I ve had this happen at this location. Thought the first time was a fluke but I guess was wrong. Absolutely will not recommend or ever spend my money here again.

Always a pleasant experience at the Tire Max in Stokesdale. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Work is done promptly and correctly. Am a happy Tire Max customer.

The people at the Stokesdale Tire Max are incredible! Their service is fast, friendly, efficient and so very reasonable! We are so very fortunate to have such a highly qualified and experienced car care company in our area! Great job!

I can't say enough good things about Tire Max. I ran over a screw and pulled in the parking lot at 5:08pm on the Friday before Christmas. They repaired it and I was on my way at 5:29! They saved my Christmas. Thank you!!!!

Please be careful bringing your car to any Tire Max...specifically Eden. Brought my car in for shuddering around 40mph. $2500 I was quoted for front and rear shocks and struts and rear brakes. I dealt with Tom. I paid a $170.00 diagnostic fee that I was told would be taken off the balance of $2500. Tom called the next day and said he misquoted the parts and it would be close to $ 2800 and told me I could just do the front struts and shocks. Told him I would think about it and call him. I called back and he said I could not do only the front struts and shocks... I had to do them all! What? I said okay I will just do the brakes. $500 for brakes. I was already $170 in and I thought I might as well get something done. Tom said no. That $170 is the diagnostic fee....it won't go towards anything. On the receipt he gave me for paying the $170 it says DEPOSIT. These guys will try to take advantage of you. Specifically if you are a woman. They must be getting a commission on what they sell to unsuspecting customers. I called the owner, John Fowlkes, left a message and no return call. Clearly he doesn't know what his other locations are doing. Find another shop to get your work done. These guys will take advantage of you.EDIT: I took my car to another reputable company in town. Two things to note: my brakes only needed pads, not rotors and further there was a clip on part of the brake assembly that was broken causing the bolt to move. The mechanic told me my car was not safe to drive until it was replaced. I'm still not spending close to $3000. $325. That is what it will cost. I have now called the owner twice and no return call. For deposit means a deposit. No where does it say non- refundable if you choose not to do business with us when we try to take advantage of you. I have contacted the BBB and my bank to dispute the charge. Please find another shop to take your vehicle to. The guys behind the counter and possibly the mechanics must be getting kickbacks for what they "sell" to unsuspecting customers.

Have had my car serviced and inspected here several times, but never again. After my last service they neglected to reset the maintenance indicator on my vehicle, which meant that it never alerted me when it needed an oil change. Today I arrived at 2:55 for a 3:00 appointment, and at 3:55 my car was still sitting untouched in the space where I parked it. No communication from anyone on staff regarding delays. Unfortunately, staff doesn't seem to put even a fraction of the effort into communicating with customers who are actually in the building that they put into commenting on web reviews.

I had never been here before, but woke up to a nail in my tire and it pulled up as the closest tire repair place to me. I had such a pleasant walk-in experience. They had a short wait, were informative and friendly, and patched my tire for under 30 bucks. I usually take my car to the dealer for maintenance but I've found my new mechanic location!Thanks for such great service- a rarity in this day and age!

Great vibes as soon as you walk in the door. The staff were nicely dressed in their uniforms, the waiting area and front desk were clean and clutter free. The waiting area had nice comfy chairs. Staff was quick to help. Very kind and attentive. They didn t act bored or like they were just trying to hurry me through like many other places. They were up front and honest about work that needed to be done. Dropped my car off at 12:45 for new tires, alignment, oil change and inspection, it was done by 4. A different person helped me at pick up but he knew exactly which car was mine when I walked up to the counter. He then took the time to explain all the warranties my new tires came with. My car drove like a dream when I left. Will definitely be back!

Terrible tried to overcharge me for work that I needed to have done on three separate occasions...I was not impressed and I do not like to be overly charged for job's in any way ,shape , or form !!!

From the first moment I walked in they treated me as if I had been going there for years. I love the family and country atmosphere you get there. I feel Jason goes completely out of his way to make sure all of their customers are 100% satisfied.This is definitely the go to place for your automotive needs.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Went in for a vehicle inspection and also got quotes on a few different tires and all of the specs on the tires within a few minutes. Will definitely be getting my tires from them and any other work done in the future. They actually seem like they care about their customers.

I always have has a good experience at Tire Max in Stokesdale. All of our vehicles are serviced here. The people are friendly and helpful. I would recommend for oil changes and rotations. I bought a couple sets of tires and have always gotten a very fare price

They are the nicest car repair shop I have ever been to.I got a leaky tire and took it for repair. After some wait my car was called out and I was asked to take a look. There was a nail on the side of the tire and the technician said they cannot fix it as it may blow out. Suggested me to take it where I got my earlier puncture plugged. They did not charge anything for this. I recommend this shop to anyone living in the area of Stokesdale, Oak Ridge or Kernersville.

Dropped a tire off at the Stokesdale location to be patched. Tire was never touched in over 7 hours. When they finally got to it, I was told the hole was too big to patch. When I picked it up, it was obvious that the tire had never been off the rim so they never tried to patch it. Instead they offered to sell me a tire. But they didn t have it in stock and would get a driver to pick one up. I would have to wait longer. So I took that same tire to Mock Tire. They patched the tire from the inside and had me done in 30 min. They told me the hole was not big on the inside. I have visited the Stokesdale location on two separate occasions with the same results. They didn t have the tire in stock the first time as well. I will never use Tiremax again.

Everyone I have had to deal with at this TireMax location have always been pleasant and professional. When I had a family emergency March, I called them to see if I could get an oil change, tires rotated and balanced before a long road trip. As soon as I explained what was going on and why I needed my car worked on asap, they made sure they could work me in that day. I feel they went above and beyond to make sure my vehicle was taken care of. I can not recommend this location enough. I will always be thankful for the help, as that was one less thing I had to worry about. I have taken my vehicles here since they opened and I will continue to do so. They have a customer for life with my family. It is hard to find good and caring service nowadays. I highly recommend this location.

The Tiremax Stokesdale staff helped me finalize the decision on what tires I needed. It got my new tires on as scheduled, with no issues, and was accommodating to me on when I could pick up the vehicle. Definitely recommend. Will be back when needed.

Tire Max has always performed a great job at a fair price. During a recent visit I had a good deal of work that was required. When i informed them that I absolutely had to have my vehicle back the same day they went the extra mile to make sure the work was completed on time. Thanks Tire Max

This Tire Max location is the best! After communicating with the Chevy dealership several times about things that had been missed during simple oil change/tire rotation appointments, I finally decided to call it quits with them and I m glad I did. I had a minor tire issue and called this Tire Max. Jason was so nice and able to get me in that day. Not only did he personally fix my tire but he also educated me at the same time, which I so appreciated. When I was due for my next oil change/tire rotation, I decided to take my truck back to Tire Max. They welcomed me when I walked in, took no time to change the oil & rotate the tires, and thanked me for coming in. I ve found my new place for vehicle maintenance and my fianc� said he ll be taking his car here from now on too!

As a veteran of working in and around car repair shops, I was thoroughly impressed with the facility, the staff, and the value I received today. I had called to get tires and they delivered what I wanted and checked a couple other things. They did not try to sell you parts you did not need. I will definitely be back for other services. I highly recommend this shop but suggest that you call in advance as they were quite busy.

When Tire Max 1st came into the neighborhood, I was skeptical. I figured they would be like so many others. They clearly are not.I was welcomed, they do the work right, provide you with options, and have always been pleasant to deal with and have NEVER ripped me off.I was once provided with a quick check of something I thought was wrong, it was not and they did not charge me for it. Saying that it only took a minute to figure out.It is small efforts like that coupled with the good work they have done that make the Stokesdale Tire Max a wonderful part of this community.I always recommend Tire Max whenever someone has a need for service! Thanks for all you do!

I had a tire go flat on me and took it to Tire Max to be repaired. I was told it could not be repaired and a new tire would have to be ordered. The next day when I went to pick the tire up, I was told they were actually able to repair the tire and save me about $100. They could have simply put a new tire on the rim and charged me for it but instead they did all they could to save me some money. I was very happy with my experience and everyone I interacted with there was supper nice and accommodating. I was very pleased with my experience with Tire Max.

I had a fantastic experience. Their customer service was friendly, and communicated updates in a timely manner. Their pricing is fair. When I picked up my car, I needed help resetting a sensor, and a tech helped me immediately. I am a customer for life.

WOMEN AND ELDERLY BEWARE!!!!!Got my mother for $2,000For repairs that were not needed.Said that power steering flush was required to pass NC state inspection. The business called and gave her a full list of things that needed to be done in order to pass inspection.Tire Max in Stokesdale is in the business of taking advantage of people that know no better.

Jason, was professional, courteous and accommodating to our needs.. the work was done on time and at a cost of less than half what Crossroads Ford charged us. Needless to say Crossroads Ford has lost a customer and Tire Max Stokesdale has gained loyal customer.
