I bought a car from AP and trusted the information that they test drive and inspect every car. Unfortunately, I have learned my lesson. When I took delivery of the car and drove it for the first time it was obvious that something was very wrong. The front end had a terrible shake above 25mph. I immediately contact my sales rep Ray and asked them to take back the car. I offered to pay for the transportation back to their dealership and sell them the car back for $1,000 less than I paid for it. That offer was rejected and they gave me the standard "we test drive and inspect every vehicle." I finally got the car into a mechanic. The list of things wrong is long and obvious. The steering box is trash, some of the wiring is unsafe, one of the front shocks is ready to fall off and the brake lines are unsafe. All of that was diagnosed with one test drive and about 30 min on the list. So much for the AP Vintage "inspection and test drive". I have learned my lesson and will never buy from them again. I am sure that many people have purchased cars from AP that have been just fine. If you want to buy from them don't believe their inspection, have one done by someone else prior to purchasing.UPDATE: I got the vehicle back from the Mechanic. The cost of the repairs just to make the vehicle drivable and safe was $5,000. I emailed the owner like he requested in his response. They have yet to respond to my email. Next week I will be filing a claim in small claims court for the $5,000 plus my time etc.

I had a great experience with AP Vintage Motors. If you get a chance, check these guys out. They have an exceptional service platform and know how to treat their customers. I worked closely with Tim Boltin who was very good at communicating throughout the entire sales process. He was always transparent and was looking out for my best interests. Another good thing about working with Tim and AP Vintage Motors is how responsive and professional they were. I looked around at other auction houses, but others did not share the same level of engagement. AP Vintage earned my future business by making this process very easy and successful. I will also add that their facility is immaculate and filled with some amazing classic vehicles that made it hard for me to leave there without buying another classic! Thanks again!

***UPDATE***I was contacted by Chris Young concerning my experience with AP Vintage Motors. It appears that it was more of a sales person issue vice a dealership issue. I have been assured they have take appropriate action. I would recommend you contact Chris for your inquiries and he will ensure you are treated right.***Original Review***I attempted to buy a vehicle twice from AP Vintage motors. I live 6 hours away and the first time, I was contacted the day before my appointment to let me know that they sold the vehicle I had already agreed to buy. The Second time, I drove all the way there and was contacted when I was 30 min away letting me know the starter was out. I went anyways since i was so close.Vehicle was a manual and when I asked if we could push start it, I just got a dirty look. Tried to up sale me. I would not waste your time with them. Would have given ZERO stars if it was an option.

AP Vintage Motors purchased my 1967 Ford Mustang from me and had it shipped a few hours back to them. We did all the paperwork and everything needed over email. Made the process very seamless. I would definitely buy or sell a vehicle with them again!

Tim at 8P vintage motors was an incredible help and help me find my classic car. AP vintage motors is partnered with a lender that made the entire transactions seamless an easy. I highly recommend Tim and AP vintage motors in my next classic car will certainly be through them. They do an excellent job and making sure what they are selling is quality, and you can depend on the reliability of the vehicle.

Strictly Vintage vehicles are sold here. It's a good idea to check their website to see if there's something you're interested in and them make an appointment with them to go see it. Their build is very small and they need advanced notice to have the vehicle you want to see moved to a location where it is easily visible. They will answer your questions online. The staff we encountered was nice.

If you are buying a vehicle from this company, please go and see the vehicle in person prior to purchasing. Don t make the same mistake I made in having it shipped and trusting that they have integrity.I assumed that because they are Vintage Motors that they actually restore the vehicles they sell. The pictures on their website look extremely professional but what they don t tell you or show you is a lot of underhanded, misleading, and deceptive tactics. I bought a restored 1975 VW bus. There have been so many things wrong that I don t have time to go into detail. But for starters, it wouldn t even START. The day it was delivered the delivery man couldn t get the parking brake unlocked nor could he even start it to drive it into my driveway. Come to find out, they had duct taped an automatic starter in my MANUAL vehicle. There was a lot of duct tape: painted over and covering lots of putty. This is not what a VINTAGE RESTORATION business should be doing. I have listed a page of safety concerns and misleading information for the Better Business Bureau and Attorney General. AP Vintage Motors never responded to the BBB and has yet to respond to the Attorney General. Please do not purchase a vehicle sight unseen from this business. Unfortunately I learned a lesson the hard way.Updated 2/4/24: do not be misled by the response from AP Vintage Motors. They commented on my review and told me to reach out. I reached out to the email address they sent and I still have heard absolutely nothing from them. It s all for show.

Tim is the BEST!!! Purchased a 2001 BMW M3 from him. He went above and beyond with photos, videos, virtual meeting with our mechanic. He was very thorough and never pushy. And shipping was so fast - car arrived to us in TX 2 days after the payment was sent. Could not be happier - absolutely stellar experience.

AP Vintage Motors LLC reached out to me about my Trans Am. After years of working on vintage cars it became time to bringing it all to an end. Like everyone else I was very apprehensive but each step was easy and fast. No hassle buying process and no pressure. A great company to deal with. I truely wish AP Vintage Motors much success.

Had a great experience with Tim at AP. I consigned a 67 Camaro with with him and he was on spot with keeping me up to date on all inquiries and sold it for us in a week. Great group of folks to work with and have some great classic cars for sale !!! Thanks againTim!!!

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE! They LIE. I bought a truck and I asked straight up if everything functioned as it should and I was told YES & that they have a multi point inspection for every vehicle.The truck I got: the choke didn't work, the wipers didn't work, the steering column was screwed up and the turn signals didn't work. The brakes were locked up and the transmission wouldn't shift properly. Other minor repairs were needed. They just straight out lied. I can fix everything but consider all it needs I was ripped off for the price I paid.Everything they have for sale is over priced and they will not negotiate.If your smart you'll stay away.

AP Vintage Motors contacted me on a Friday about a 1983 CJ7 that I had for sale. The gentleman I dealt with looked over my vehicle and make a cash offer. With a handshake and the promise of returning the next day with cash. The following day AP Motors returned with a trailer and cash as promised. Would highly recommend dealing with AP Vintage Motors.

Every person was responsive and knowledgeable. They stayed one step ahead with information making the transaction and transfer the simplest ever. AP Vintage Motors is a really cool place with some very cool cars. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful so on those fronts they certainly deserve 5 stars. Unfortunately as far as the vehicle I purchased from them goes, it s been quite the headache. I have had it a couple months now and the majority of that time it has been in the shop with what seems like a never ending list of issues that keep rearing their heads. I have already spent over $6,500 on repairs at this point. They claim they do a mechanical inspection, which I m sure they do, but how in depth I can t say. My car certainly was not turn key like they claim on their website. I understand that when you buy a 45 year old car it will have issues down the road, maybe I am naive but when you buy a vehicle at a very high price point, you want it to run reliably. And that hasn t been the case whatsoever.

I was very skeptical at first to deal with someone online and so far from Arizona. After doing some research I decided to give AP Vintage Motors a try. The price they offered for my CJ7 Jeep was fair and the process went very smoothly. The money arrived promptly, even before they had scheduled shipment. Very good communication and easy to deal with. I highly recommend them if you have a vehicle to sell.
