I really love this Scion tC. Very good car. I upgraded the motor like new again and a new suspension system also. Runs like new. A great car. Thank you, Mr. Murray for selling me this Gem in March 2023.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place for alignment. I purchased brand new wheels and tires less than 7 months ago from another establishment but had alignment performed here about 3-4 months ago. During a recent service at a local mechanic shop my rear tires were flagged as a safety hazard to be replaced immediately. I asked what the problem was because they were not that old and they it was an alignment issue. I took it to another for a second opinion and they said the same "alignment issue caused premature wear of tires identified by the wear pattern/damage". I hate to leave reviews like this. They seemed like nice people. Im sure they do good mechanical work but I have no confidence in their technicians ability to do proper alignment.

Competition Auto in Spring Lake NC is absolutely a great Performance auto shop. Carl and Angela were such great people explaining what would be done to install headers and exhaust. Plus tune. I will be returning for more upgrades. Big thanks to the Competition Auto team.

Angela and Carl are amazing! They always take care of me..As a novice performance driver and drag racer, They give me so much comfort ensuring all my performance and mechanical needs are met. Hard to find good and honest people to look after you and your vehicles . You can tell they care about their clients and about what they specialize in...The best around hands down!! Thank you Competition Automotive for always being exceptional! The whole team are like family now to me. Ray, Dwyane and Lewis are awesome too. Can't go wrong at all!

Had suspension work completed by competition auto. They recommended a solution and installed and setup my Mustang. Very easy to work with, they have good knowladge to share. So far the car is perfect and Im enjoying the new ride and handling.Mark

Met Carl a few years ago at Competition Auto. Being a former shop owner and after talking to Carl about my race car needs and repairs i can highly recommend this business for your performance and parts needs. Carl takes pride in his work and is a perfectionist about how he approaches his diagnostic and repairs. I purchased a race car from a previous customer of his and i can say the workmanship and quality of his build is top notch. All the wiring and build of the car was extremely good and well thought out. Carl is very busy providing top quality work for his customers but when im able to get a chance to talk to him i can assure you he is very knowledgeable about his trade. He has built many basic mod cars to full out race upwards of 2000 hp. i have recommended many customers check out this business. They sell parts and dyno tune cars as well as many other repairs.i wouldnt think twice about Competition performance working on my vehicles. Carl usually is very busy in the shop and his wife runs the front end of the business which is very knowledgeable with all aspects of the business. If you need a guy with many years of racing background and performs professional work and has a great staff then this is the place. Carl has a great reputation and is very busy so if anything be a little patient. you can be assured you are getting a profeesional working on your ride. Carl is about safety in high performance builds and likes to be safe and perfect as possible with his tunes. i hope this review is helpful for customers wanting to know a little about this business.

I have a 2009 CTS V with 73K miles on the car. I had Competition Auto replace the rear suspension, rear cradle bushings, rear spinodal bushings, rear tie rods, rear trailing arms, rear upper and lower control arms replaced, and carrier bushing on the drive shaft. I purchased all the parts they needed to do the job. The car went into the shop without any problems, with no rattles or vibrations. It came out of the shop with a loud rattle sounding like metal on metal, a loud clunking sound with the drive shaft. When I accelerate and decelerate, the drive shaft has a bad vibration, like it is out of balance the drive shafts are; balanced it feels like it was not installed back correctly, I have taken the car back to them, hoping they would fix all the problems it now has, but the mechanic kept telling me he tightened up everything. He then said to me that the last time I took the car in it, the trundle bearings on the rear tie rod ends rattling, so I took it to another mechanic; he told me no, they should not be rattling at all the drive shafts should not have a vibration while driving. After this, I will never let Competition Auto touch any of my performance cars. I heard good things about them from friends and the people I have met. I am disappointed because people think this performance shop is a good one. I will find a trustworthy performance shop around Fayetteville to fix my car. As I stated, never again will I use this shop. I added photos of some of the parts they installed.Service: Steering & suspension replacement

Went in to have my clutch replaced and flywheel resurfaced. Dropped it off Wednesday, was ready the very next day. The total price was LESS than quoted which shows integrity. Very very pleased with these guys and gals. Awesome company, awesome people. Appreciate what they do.

Friendly place and affordable prices. The worked on my F150 2014. They lifted my truck and installed the wiring on the light bar. Jason is a genius. I won't go back to Ford dealers.

Met the crew down at Mustang Week this year and talking with them I ended up purchasing a set of VMS wheels. They gave me a great deal since we were in person instead and couldn't be more than happy. Also hopefully they are to become a customer of mine and we build a good relationship. They were all very friendly and knowledgeable, first impressions are important and they knocked it out of the park for me.

This is a family owned business, I'm very pleased with the work I have had done, found somethings I wasn't real happy about, and fixed, and it saved me an engine, Carl and Staff is very professional in what they do, and strive for perfection, still working on my Foxbody, but I know Carl will get me right

Great customer service. The lady at the counter was awesome and patient with me because I had a lot of questions. She did a great job helping out. They definitely know their ford's. If you want your mustang or f150 tuned or upgraded this is the place to go. They got nice cars out on the lot that have been modified. The cars are awesome. I will be doing business with them.

I was going to give 5 stars after the tune was done but now it s a 1. I bought the DOD delete kit through them instead of buying directly from TSP and spent more money but I was ok with that because it s a local business. I called to have the tune done and they said come in 2 weeks on Friday. I came and they told me they didn t make the appointment in their computer and couldn t do it today. I took the day off and had a friend follow me so I could drop it off and they said not today. I do NOT recommend this place.

Competition is the only place I will ever take my car I absolutely love Carl and Angela I trust them 100% and they installed my engine In my camaro and I told Carl just put the best of everything in there and let me tell you he sure did!! He will be my mechanic forever

2015 Mustang with all new suspension had my car going everywhere. Took into Competition Auto and 2 hours later car is going straighter than ever! Excellent service and great people!!
