Payne has been my go to for around... 10 years now. If I take my bike ANYWHERE else its only because I'm stranded in another state. Even THEN I call him to make sure Im not getting screwed by where Im at... and you know what... he always answers. Even after hours when he is able. He has given me free advice, excellent service at very reasonable prices. I found him after a shop sheared off a suspension bolt and left it like that. Once I discovered it, they would never return my calls so Im pretty sure they were aware of what they had done. Thats when I found Payne and I have NEVER looked back. They keep me rolling! HIGHLY recommend!!!

Owner knows his stuff. Glad to have found a good knowledgeable motorcycle shop locally. Not out to get rich, decent prices. He accepted the bike on the day he said he would. Got it back a day early. Highly recommended.

David Payne is one of the most knowledgeable Harley guys around. I would not hesitate to let him fix any problems that I may have. I just had my handlebars changed this trip and the job they did was awesome! The shop has great hours too!!

Having been a shop owner myself, I know when a shop is doing a great job or not. And without exception, David and crew have proven that they are up to any task in a most professional and competent manner! I have been recommending him for over 14 years now without one single negative comeback. He has ALWAYS come through for me.

I have taken my 2003 Dyna Super Glide to The House of Payne twice and both times I was very happy and got a Great job. Highly recommend taking your bike if you need work on it.

My experience with bringing my Honda Shadow Sabre 1100 was not as good as others. I was in town working and needed my corroborators jetted and rebuilt after just buying the motorcycle a few week earlier. Typically I do the work myself but with being busy at work I had a friend refer him and decided to drop it off. Now if you dont mind any communications between the mechanic and the customer this is your shop. after 1 week i called to see what was going on since he had not called me. He told me what i already knew is that the previous owner messed with the jets when the cobra pipes were installed. David said the jets were ordered and should be in in a day or two. I know with helping friend out at there shops and from experience you avoid calling all the time so they can do the work and not just be on the phone. But, after another full week went by and i still had not heard from him besides the time i called a week earlier when the jets were ordered. at that time he said it needed additional carb work that the jets did not fix it completely. I dont understand why he did not just order a kit the fist round knowing the issues i explained. At that time he had not ordered any additional parts or even tried to call me. Now, after two weeks of having the bike he still needed to order parts and it was time were i had to go back home. David said the bike will run but just dont gun the throttle. So i paid a lot of money took my motorcycle back without it being fixed and got about 4 miles down the road when the bike flooded out and would not start again. So much for it running fine as long as i dont gun the throttle.After getting back home to Florida I cleared up some time from work after and took the carbs off the bike and ordered the Diaphragms with the slides and the rubber was very thin. While having the carbs off the bike I noticed a Screwdriver bit about 3 inches long jammed down in the intake. It took some serious tugging of the screw driver bit to get it out. I should have used by Bore scope but did not think of it but from looking down it had the valve stuck open. That i say is pretty damn close to blowing up my engine.After reassembling the carbs with the new Diaphragm and slides, removing the lost screw bit from the intake, and hooking back up the gas and vacuum lines the bike started right up. I ran it for a while and she runs great for now But, I am still not sure what long term damage was done due to the screw bit jamming the valve open. am still figuring out what i paid him for.So if you are a customer that doesn't care of your services keeps in touch and in the case almost blew up the engine then Payne is your place. For me I expect my money back and will never go back.I should have thought twice before going there as he had my buddy's bike there for 3 weeks. Same thing never did he call and after 3 weeks he got his bike back with nothing done. That review I will leave for him to write if he decides.
