One person was extremely nice.But I had an oil change appointment and the elderly man was a little rude. I had a 5,000 mile full synthetic change. When I got in my car while still sitting outside the door i called inside and explain to him they only put a 3,000 sticker up. Oh what your name I told him I just walked out and noticed it. Instead of apologizing and said that they would correct it since I was there no he says what does the paperwork say. Full synthetic change. So next time I travel near a Walmart i have to get it corrected. Every time i go there he's rude.

I came in last-minute on Friday evening about 6 pm because my tire pressure was low (on September 29, 2023). I don't recall his name, but the service technician quickly helped me and filled up the tires to my car. He didn't charge me either. I really appreciate the fast and friendly service.

Excellent service from Lora and her team! Just took my Jeep in due to low tire pressure in 2 tires, and a nail in one of them. They removed the nail (which luckily only penetrated the tread sideways), checked for bubbles, refilled all my tires and waited for an hour to make sure they all held their pressure. They did all of this for FREE!! No charge. And I got to do all of my weekly grocery shopping while wating.I will definitely be coming back!

Did a solid job, at a fair price for a couple new tires. Installed quickly, and ready for pickup within an hour or so. All in all, a good experience. This was my second good tire buying experience with them, so they have my business.

Went to the auto center with a tire that had a bubble/ could blow at any moment. The employees there were amazingly helpful and caring. Even when, there were things they were not able to do -due to policy- they provided me with multiple resources to get help and went out of their way to make sure I was safe. Definitely would recommend them and please give them a raise cause they deserve it for working in this heat and still having amazing customer service!Service: Tires

I can t say enough good things about the tire service at Walmart in Southport NCThe manager ( Lora) was extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful! The young man who worked on my car could not have been nicer. He was Polite and worked hard to get my tire fixed

Staff were fine. Short-staffed, but that's nothing new. Issue is I had a 1pm appointment to have tires mounted. Was there until 5pm, before they told me they couldn't get one lug nut loose. Sent me home with three done. I got the lug loose in 3 minutes, at home. Came back next day at opening, and was there another 3 hours before they could get that one tire put on.

Had an appointment at 9am. It's now 10:30am and I'm still here to mount (4) new tires I bought from them. The waiting room has horrible TV signal. Can't even watch the TV in waiting room because it has so much digital blurriness It's unreal. Very friendly staff for an auto center (that qualifier isn't meant to be derogatory; if you've been to a few auto shops, you should know what I mean).The lead mechanics on duty have always gone out of their way to make sure they knew what I needed from my visit and to offer advice on further care for my vehicle.I've only had a couple oil changes and one tire replaceded here, but the prices are reasonable and they have a big enough inventory to suit any vehicle's needs at any budget.The service time may leave something to be desired, but I work close enough that I can walk there and back, so it isn't an issue for me. Also, have you ever been to an auto shop where you thought "wow, that was fast," and also had quality service? I haven't.

I came in at 9 o clock on a Sunday and they told me an oil change and tire rotation for my moms car was going to take 2 hours, I said okay because it s a Sunday and The car really needed service done on it. I shop for 2 hours and come back and they still didn t have my car in the garage. I said whatever and waited longer than I wanted to. Only one person was even working on it while the other two that I saw were standing there just talking for about 5-10 minutes while only one man by himself was working on it. Only give 2 stars because the prices are good and people are relatively nice. Don t recommend going on a Sunday, though just about every time I come here they take over two hours. I never take my own vehicle here, I do my own oil changes and take my tires somewhere else. I d do that for my moms car but she purchased the lifetime warranty for the tires so she uses that and it s free to rotate and balance. Again only two stars because of prices and warranties.

Made an appointment for 11:00 for an entire tire change as well as an oil change. I had dropped the truck off and about hour and a half later I had revived a call about how they couldn t change one of my tires. So I had to struggle to find a ride back to take the wheel of myself because their staff clearly could not. While I doing so I had to buy my own supplies to remove said tire since they would not help supply me with proper equipment. After I had removed the tire myself it took them 35 minutes to change the tire. After I had finally gotten all my tires and oil change and paid in full, I had finally made it back home and received once again another call saying that they had billed me wrong, and that I owe even more money. Overall I had patiently waited four and a half hours for a service that should ve only taken one and a half. By far worst experience I have ever encountered, never come here they will do you wrongly.

Our tire went flat while we were on vacation to Oak Island. The folks at Walmart Auto Care Center were incredibly kind and helpful. They didn't even charge for finding the hole and putting on our spare. Every single person we encountered was nice and helpful. We cannot say enough good things about our experience.

After almost a year, I finally have four tires on my car that Finally match and are the Same size after many adjustments and waiting and explaining many times through your staff changes the problems in your Auto Center and Staff issues and not having the parts or staff to work on the problem. Now I need an oil change on the same car and I am hesitant as to if I want to go through another issue again with your company. Still undecided.

I had pretty low expectations going into this, but we no choice since we were on vacation. It took then almost 3 hours, twenty minutes of which were just waiting on paperwork. To top it off, they didn't put the new tires where we requested, they left a greasy hand print on my door, and after driving away, my car alerted me that the tire pressure was low. Never, never again.

The worst customer service I ve ever experienced. I called ahead of time to find out how late they can take a car for oil change. The lady said if I arrived in 15 min they could do it. I rushed to get there and was there in 10 min. They close at 7pm and I arrived at 5:45pm and they refused to do my oil change because they took a 4 tire change instead. No phone call to me or apology for having me drive there for nothing., don t say you can take me and have me rush to get there and then turn me away., I will never shop that Walmart store again.,

This is the worst automotive garage on the east coast, my daughter took her tire there to be fixed, the NEXT. DAYthe tire blowed a part now she was walking, two weeks later she has her oil. Changed now she is hitch. Hitck hiking

I brought in a smaller spare tire that had somewhat aged and possible dry rot and needed to be replaced. The Walmart tire specialists advised me they did not carry the smaller spare and to order online. I ordered online and brought the tire in to have it mounted and team tire specialists announced they are inadequately equipped to perform such a task. Hello Walmart, it's just the same as replacing any other tire but it has a smaller air volume capacity. Watching and experiencing the useless brain matter sizzle and fizzle of a collection of three of their tire store experts and the voided out look in their eyes and useless dialogue, I cancelled my regular tire replacement and took my car to Blacks who replaced all tires including the elusive spare. Thanks Walmart for nothing.

Walmart auto centers can do all of your basic car maintenance and repairs. Their car battery prices are the best around and they will install it do free while you wait. They also have great prices on tires and oil changes so give them a try.

Went in to purchase a tire for my travel trailer. Girl behind the counter was helpful. Told to drop off my old wheel and tire in the shop to one of the guys. The guys were totally worthless. The first one yelled at me to get out of the shop, the next one ignored me when I asked where to drop the old wheel off at. I figured they could care less about their customers so I cancelled my order and left. What an uncaring department.

My mother and I have had some terrible experiences here. Once I had my oil changed and they did not completely fill it up. Additionally, my mother purchased brand "new" tires from them to find out later by a different auto center that the "new" tires she bought were old and close to expiration. These people are sleazy and dangerous.

Got an oil change this morning.. I had to almost argue with the manager to get him to use 5w30Instead of 10w30.... even though Walmart has used 5w30 three times before .... ughIt just seemed he was purposely trying to be confrontational.... guess he s allowed to have a bad day... !! But I probably will turn the other way if he s on duty the next time I go in.. if you re having a bad day, stay home....The lady who works the desk at the auto center is a great asset to the company...She always is trying to help you get your monies worth... she is people friendly and will work with you... she has a great smile and a winning attitude,,,,

In town for the beach, and got a flat tire. Being a Saturday nobody else was open, and it was getting late but these guys got the job done and did it all with the best customer service possible. I think the guys name was Johnny (Jimmy?), and "butter bean". Seriously they took care of everything and even got us back on the road!

Went in for an oil change. They over tighten the filter and cause a major oil leak all over my engine. They will not pay to have my engine clean, on a car I have only had for six months. Do not take your car there.

If they would step up and do there job I still will not die here waiting ,been waiting on my tire order for 2 months now.wont change my tire to lazy to fix it want to sell me a new tire when its under warranty. NO FREAKING WAY WILL I EVER GO BACK

To describe their workers in one word is useless, they can t even take a tire off my damn truck. I had to come down myself and do it for them and yet still got charged as them doing it.
