This location took amazing care of me in every way possible. The store is very well kept, quite professional and friendly, and transparent. Everyone I spoke to was very upfront and disclosed all details within the process of purchasing a 2023 Kia Sportage. Eddie (GM), Dalton (Sales), and Bryan (Finance) were fantastic to work with and I would recommend anyone and everyone to purchase a vehicle from them!

First time buying from Southern Pines Kia. Terry was my salesman and I must say it was a very pleasant experience. He listened to everything I had questions about and answered all my questions and got me exactly what I wanted. Also want to commend Bryan Gelfand on the financing. He did a wonderful job helping me. Background: I purchased brand new 2021 Kia Rio from Southern Pines Kia, and to date I had done every single scheduled maintenance with them. I don't know if their service department is under new management, but if they are it shows in a bad way.First Problem: I brought my car in for a recall, and I asked them if they can also figure out why my apple play stopped connecting. They informed me that if it's not a warrantee problem, it will be $155 diagnostic fee. So, the technician connected his own phone and it actually works. They suggested I just delete my phone and reconnect. That's the end, right? No. They charged me $155.00 for the 2 minutes it took for a tech to connect his own phone to my car to determine it's still working. Legal? Perhaps, I don't know. I'm not a lawyer. It may "technically" qualify as a diagnostic, but is that a way to treat a loyal customer?Second problem: My car has 35,000 miles on it. Their "recommended" preventative maintenance amounts to, get this, $2675.42. I will grant that it's normal practice for dealerships to "recommend" services a bit over and above what the owner's manual prescribes. That's how they make much of their revenue. But at 35K miles, they're "recommending" a few hundred shy of $3000 worth of services? Do you think they would recommend their own mothers have that much "maintenance" done to a car that is still practically new?Speaking of mothers, having been there several times before for services, I noticed their clientele tends to be an older demographic. From my experience, elderly people tend to be more trusting.I would recommend avoiding Southern Pines Kia, and if you have parents or grandparents in area, maybe suggest they do the same. Or at least go with them so they can't be taken advantage of. It is understandable and expected that businesses try to maximize profits. But plenty of businesses manage to be financially successful without sacrificing ethics and morals. For those who don't, the only way they will change is to take your money elsewhere. Because for those people, that's all they care about.

My guy is Terry , he is awesome . He listened to me and once he knew what I was looking for he hit the nail on the head . I am a proud owner of a 2017 Nissan Armada I recommend you go there for your next car . I drove 1 1/2 hour to there and it was well worth the trip ! Tell him Mandi Brown sent ya !

Here's an honest review!I worked with Charlotte Erbschloe, the Service Advisor to hastily replace a tire on my 2015 Hyundai Genesis 5.0. The tire is a less available item, a Continental Pro Contact run flat. Within the day, Charlotte was able to coordinate the order of the tire and replacement for a very reasonable price in time to help me with my situation of needing my hot wheels.The team there to include, Charlotte, the technicians, mechanics, and the parts department communicated effectively and also were able to identify two additional issues that needed repair in addition to the tire replacement.My care was fully serviced and washed spotless looking brand new and I honestly couldn't be happier with their performance.5 Stars + I swear.I want to extend additional thanks to the whole Team at Southern Pines Kia. You run and effective team.

First time having my car serviced at Southern Pines Kia and the overall experience was great. Thomas was my service writer and he took the time to explain what services were completed, see if I had any questions and had me in and out in no time. Then he followed up with me and the dealership did as well to make sure everything went well during my visit. I will definitely be taking my vehicle back to Southern Pines Kia.

Edit to add: Thank you to Tom Benison who went above and beyond to remedy this for me. He probably doesn't want me to publicly share as others may request however, I feel he needs recognized and while my last visit was horrendous, today he came and picked up my vehicle, took it into the shop and had the work done, then returned it home for me. I'm so grateful for him. In the past anytime I went in and had him as my service advisor things are good...unfortunately anytime I have someone else well, things go south....thank you for getting this done for me Tom!Below review was 1 star...I upped to 3 ..Tom deserves 5.Avoid this service department at all costs. I ve been coming here since we moved over 2 years ago. It has substantially gotten worse. Today I spent 4.5 hours there only to find out nothing -NOTHING- was done to my vehicle. The wrong part was ordered and the other they didn t even have. I d done my part by getting the service covered by Kia, calling to ensure all was in order, only to waste half my day there and be LIED to when I asked after an hour over the time I was told it d be done what was going on and they said the tech was just going over everything to be sure it was right - LIE! They didn t do anything fine I get mistakes happen and the wrong part was there but why waste 4.5 hours and not be above board in the first place. I don t trust them at all and like another recent review said they over recommend service as well as it being more expensive. It s also a horrible place to wait - not much seating, loud music, loud noise etc. a lot of people seem to work there but obviously nothing gets done.

I really enjoy this dealership. I have a Kia dealership closer to home, but this one is better! Everyone I ve interacted with is always friendly and I never feel pressured to do unnecessary services on my vehicle, just so they can make a few extra bucks. They are knowledgeable and answer any questions I have. During my last visit, I actually got a video from the tech working on my car showing my car up on the lift and thanking me for taking such good care of my car. Booking appointments online is easy and I highly recommend checking this dealership out!

Had the pleasure of working with Carlando, Philip and Serena! They were amazing! Carlando was flexible when I needed to reschedule my appointment, got me a great price for my trade in, and even delivered my car 45 min away! If that s not service I don t know what is! Philip went over the Kia connect app with me and showed me all of the bells and whistles for the new telluride we purchased. Highly appreciated his help! Serena was so friendly! She came to check on us as we were filling out paperwork and made us truly feel a part of the Kia family. Highly recommend this team.

Completely unwillingly to negotiate a price for a vehicle that's been sitting on the lot for over 2 months. Doesn't care for their customers time and travel distance at all. I was willing to hear a counter offer and they just said no.

Mr. Efrain Gonzalez was extremely rude when we refused to buy from him. He repeatedly said, It s simple math. When my husband did not agree to pay 38k+ for a vehicle, Mr G said he could sell us for 34k. We told him repeatedly that we were not in a rush to buy if he could not get the price in line with what we were looking to pay. He acted like he understood that and then dared to get irate when we refused to buy for more than the agreed-upon amount. There was NO need for Mr. G to come out to our vehicle after we respectfully declined to make a deal.

Went to Southern Pines Kia today met Carlanado Padgett told him what we wanted and he made it happen !! Smooth transaction from his part and Anthony in financing !! Could not have been a better time buying a car !! I highly recommend checking these guys out for all your car needs !!! We aren t buying our new vehicle from these guys, but I just thought I d share our experience. The dealer we worked with was Derrick. He was a really great guy. Listened to us and showed us what we wanted to see. Derrick gets 5 stars. When we sat down to do numbers, the deal we were offered was heavily in favor of the dealership. When we said no, the sales manager came out and rather than seeing what he could do to come to a deal, told us why we should just accept their deal. Again we said no, and he was like Cool. Thanks for coming by. Here s my card if you decide you want to take our deal. One star for that guy. I guess they sell enough cars, they don t need your business. It was a weird experience. We were willing to deal, they weren t.

I had an EXCELLENT experience here. I was in a unique situation where we were trying to buy out our lease and finance our 2022 Kia K5. I kept getting the run around from so many dealerships not really trying to help us. Our salesperson Brent Hammers was great. He was very friendly and did everything he could to take care of us. We are extremely happy with the service provided to us. It was a complete upgrade from the Kia dealership in Fayetteville. I had to drive a lot further but it was more than worth it. Steer clear from the Kia Dealership in Fayetteville.

Southern Pines Kia went above and beyond! I don t live in the area but the Kia dealership closer to where I live couldn t see me for another month AND told me one of my recalls they d have to inspect first and then order the part. Southern Pines Kia had available appointments, and already had the parts on hand to correct and close that recall. I went in for an oil change and asked about the recall, not expecting them being able to fix it today, and they fixed it and closed it out! It was incredible. On top of that, every employee I interacted with was friendly, and explained everything to me throughly. The prices were great too.

Southern Pines Kia took good care of my 2019 Kia Stinger. No issues and the wait wasn t long. They took the time to message me any additional work that I may be interested in and I didn t feel pressured to accept if I didn t want it at that time. I will definitely be back

I have a Kia K5 that I get serviced here. It's always easy to get an appointment that works for my schedule. The waiting area is good, but there is a lack of power strips so if you are doing work while waiting for your car make sure to charge your laptop beforehand. I think they wash and vacuum the cars during some of the appointments because my car is always cleaner when I get it back. The rep that I usually interact with while I am there is Cortnie, she has always been friendly and courteous. Overall my experience with the service department has been great.

I've been eyeing an extra used KiA Niro, because my Niro has a lot of miles. Trey helped me out. We test drove a used one on the lot. We went back and forth on numbers. I've never negotiated a deal like this so I was pretty nervous. However Trey msde me feel comfortable and was able to get me to where I requested. He was easy to work with and made sure I got what I wanted.This is my 3rd vehicle from Southern Pines KiA and Nissan. The service department has kept me coming back. Tom D and his service crew have gone above and beyond when they service my car. And I trusted Tom when he personally put me in Treys hands Monday afternoon. I've earned the trust of the service department and feel like the car buying side has my back also between Trey and his Sales Manager Freddy. See yall for a new Niro in a couple more years. -Ashlee K

There is potential for this to change to 5 stars. That will depend on if the dealership fixes my car or not. Mark the used car manager is horrible with customer service. I purchased a 2018 ford escape for my daughter. During the test drive I heard a noise from the rear that concerned me. I asked the dealer about it. He had the lead mechanic tell me it was just road noise from new tires. After I bought the car, it was discovered that the control arms on the rear are bent and need to be replaced. This prevents the rear alignment of tires and leads to excessive wear on tires. This car was advertised as certified by the dealership. My assumption is that the dealership is not inspecting these vehicles as well as they claim to be. After several attempts to speak to Mark the used car manager about this issue I was ready to give up. Mark nor the GM ever returned my calls. Luckily I spoke to Alex and Freddy, (Manager and Car salesman) both of which have been outstanding in helping me get this issue fixed. Because of the effort of Alex and Freddy, the dealership has now offered to replace the required parts and tire at no cost to me. After the repair is complete and if it is to standard, I ll update this review.Furthermore, the dealership mixed up our registration with another customer. We received registration and the license plate for another customer at our home address.Overall the dealership is just unprofessional and seems very shady with the exception of Alex and Freddy.

Our family has bought a total of 8 vehicles from this dealership. We bought vehicles from the Southern Pines Nissan Kia when car sales are booming and were terrible like during the height of covid. But when we need to purchase another car because someone pulled in front of us and totaled our car. THEY STILL WANT TO CHARGE US 3000 ABOVE STICKER price !!! MARKET ADJUSTMENT FEES!! ALL PROFIT!! We even get our vehicles serviced there etc. I now find it extremely funny that they are posting welcome to the family post of customers with new cars. Their meaning of family is way different than ours!Added review, Southern Pines Nissan Kia contacted us about 24hrs later. They left a message and said they could now do the deal now. 3 oclock in the afternoon on a SaturdayWe both work full time jobs. We needed to find a vehicle get around. We stopped at Crossroads Ford to look around and found a vehicle we loved. We found our experience of buying a vehicle to be extremely pleasant there. We bought a vehicle that was almost 10k more and extremely pleased with our experience there. We bought a nicer vehicle and did not feel like we were getting ripped off. The Lambert and Isenhart family's are extremely disappointed in how we were treated. Obviously it's just about profit at Southern Pines Kia NissanChoose where you purchase your next vehicle wisely.

Wade Berard was an outstanding salesperson very knowledgeable, friendly and professional my wife and I were extremely pleased with his work. On the flip side my wife went back for paperwork completion and the second finance officer was rude and made no effort to assist in getting the paperwork to our bank complete. He was unprofessional.

I have been coming to this Kia dealership all the way from Raleigh for a year now because the service and timeliness cant be beat. I came in yesterday for routine maintenance on my Kia K5 and got to walking around the lot. I ended up working with Trey who helped me walk away with a brand new, 2023 Kia Sportage. Trey was great to work with, easy to get along with and really helped ease the process of trading in my K5. Thank you to Trey and the team at Southern Pines Kia! I will be a customer for years to come. 12/10
