Just moved to Pinehurst. The local car dealer was the worst so my wife starting looking and the best of the best is Doug's Auto Center. They bring experience, honesty, and great customer service day in and day out. I trust them.

Tremendous!! Just took my 100k mile 2021 Subaru Crosstrek (yes, 100k) for brake service. Still have original brakes. Keaton said I only need rear brakes done. I said you sure? These are original brakes. He said nope. Your fronts are still good. Let s just do the rear. Imagine taking it to other mechanics? They ll be doing everything no questions asked!!!!! They also did an oil change couple weeks ago. This deserves stars

My significant other is an orthopedic trauma hospital nurse who works the night shift and commutes over an hour each way after working a 12+ hour day. I notice that her car's brakes were down to the rotor metal and squealing significantly. After asking a few questions and looking at the vehicle's service records, I discovered that the vehicle had factory pads, rotors, and drums at 78k. That is, they had never been serviced. As she needed to be back on shift in two days, I called around to see who could get this done. No other shop in town would even consider it, but Doug's worked the car in between appointments and we had her back on the road, back to work and taking care of people this very evening. The cost was reasonable especially considering we needed the work done so quickly. I look forward to working with Doug's in the future. I noticed that they had some car racing photos in the lobby. I come from a family of stock car and drag racing enthusiasts dating back to the 50's so that caught my attention. I wondered if the gentleman pictured might be the owner. Doug Auto Center is awesome they understood my heat went out in my car & I use it to help myself and others in & out less than 24 hours.Priced reasonable it was fair.& worth it.Connie when you walk in the door makes you feel welcomed.Keaton can probably fix anything,he answers all your questions & tells you exactly what he's doing to your vehicle.Thank you again I will be back.Keep up the great work!!!

After not being able to get in at other shops that I checked, I was referred to Doug's Auto. And I am so glad that I was. They took my truck in the next morning. They found the problem and had me back on the road within 2 hours. Truck is running better than ever! Connie was very friendly and the young man Keaton that did the mechanic work is an A -Plus Mechanic. They have very reasonable prices and A-1 service. I highly recommend this shop , you can't go wrong here. I will use them for all of my truck maintenance and any future repairs. Thank You Doug's Auto Center!LeoService: General repairs & maintenance

Always happy with Doug's. Took my vehicle to another shop but they "didn't have the right tool" or know how to fix the problem so brought it to Doug's where they fixed it no problem. They're honest and do a great job. Highly recommend!

Thank you to Doug for helping with an emergency tire repair. I was in and out in 30 minutes! The family really appreciated the help, as we had packed the car for travel that day and the toddler was not going to cooperate for too long! Since everything went so quick, we were back on the road that afternoon and made it to see family just in time! Thanks again Doug.Service: Tires

The staff was very friendly, and efficient. We were very concerned that our car may not even be able to be fixed, but not only was it fixed, the price of fixing our vehicle was very affordable, and our vehicle ran extremely better after it was serviced here. We did not go without our car for long at all which was a huge blessing.They were kind enough to let me use their restroom. It was very clean and well kept.It did not take long for them to retrieve our keys and check us out.I would highly recommend this place for anyone that needs any maintenance done to their vehicle(s). I will most certainly revisit this place for any further needs of our vehicle.

I've been coming to Doug's for many Years. Doug made a Great name for hisself and his Business, by being Honest and Taking pride in his work. That has carried on with the next Generation Running the Business. Everyone is Always willing to help.!! Connie is always quick to get back with a quote or offer assistance with any question!! They are reasonably priced and stand be hind there work!!

Ever since I've moved to SoPi, Doug's has met just about EVERY NEED for my car and I.Connie is one of the most friendly individuals you will meet, and is ALWAYS willing to hook you up with deals and suggestions.The guys work hard and I am always satisfied.Definitely recommend using them!!!

My battery died and my husband who does all my car work was out of contact so I came this shop and had the best service! Keaton was extremely friendly and very reasonable with price. The front desk staff is also very nice! I m thankful to have gone here and they fixed my problem in no time!! Thank you!

My prior comments are below this restatement.. Doug's owner called my husband and apologized for the service we were given at Doug's #2. She stated that they pride themselves on customer service and that she would make it right. She did. They have given my husband oil change complementary and will give me my next one free also. Connie was very polite and courteous which makes me believe our prior service was truly a one off. They have been in business awhile and service like this is what people will come back for.Scheduled an appointment for an oil change for one car at noon and a second car for 3. The mechanic took lunch at 1 and told us to come back in a few hours t ano get the car. We returned after a few hours and he had not even started on my car he could have called! Finally got the car at 4:30. He could not reset the notice that my car needs service. Said he had youtubed two versions and could not figure it out. Said to come back when I was in town ( I live 30 min away) Did not get the second car in. Looking for a mechanic that believes in customer service.

I had an issue with my oil pan plug and needed a qualified mechanic to look at it. I was in a hurry so I called Doug's this morning at 8 am. They fit me in a pretty busy schedule and fixed the problem! I just moved here and I am glad to have found a competent auto shop that delivers expert and friendly service. They will be servicing all 3 of my cars from now on! Thank you, Doug's!

I took my Jeep there after another service station had broken a part while fixing another problem. Keaton was able to look at it quickly after I brought it in and rigged my cable back together until a new one could be ordered. He was professional, helpful and very knowledgeable. I will be taking my car to Doug s from here on out.

A Big Thank you to Doug's Auto Center #2, my college daughter was trying to leave town to get back to school when the check engine light came on. We were able to drop it off at Doug's at 8am the next morning and they diagnosed and did the repairs and had her back on the road by 11:30. It was obvious when we went to pick up the car that they were very busy, so, I truly appreciate them taking the time to get her back on the road as quickly as possible.

Outstanding. I arrived at closing time spewing white smoke in my pristine and beloved S2000. A bolt located at the bottom of super-charger had vibrated out. The issue was quickly diagnosed and the car was ready for pick-up the following day. To add icing-to-the cake the excess oil was removed from the engine well.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Fantastic service !!! and then some. Wife was taking my son to an event in southern pines today, Left the ignition turned on while waiting for several hours. Battery wouldn't start in truck, so she called me to call somebody and I looked this place up via google. Called them and they came right over in minutes and jump started her. I can not thank Dougs Auto Center enough for awesome service. Any body in The southern pines area, I would highly recommend this place for your auto service needs. Dougs auto #2 saved the day - and my car. I was visiting from out of town when there was this terrible sound and dashboard light show. Had my car towed to doug s #1 but they couldn t fit me in for 5 days. Doug#2 worked me in the same day and repaired my VW. They were kind, courteous and charged a very reasonable price (just had the same repair done 2 years ago). I highly recommend!

Love this place! Connie is friendly, kind and so helpful! She patiently explained the necessary work and what it involved. Most importantly, they are honest, fair, and know what they re doing. I highly recommend...very grateful I found them!

Jason and his son really helped me out in a bind. My car battery died thankfully in my driveway, they came to my house to replace the battery. Otherwise I would have had to tow it to get the battery fixed. I really appreciated it with an infant and a deployed husband the towing scenario would have been really difficult.Service: BatteryService: Battery

Doug's Auto Center offered a fair deal to replace the engine in my Ford Explorer. However, they broke/cracked my windshield during the process. Doug's could have hidden the damage from me, but informed me of their mistake and had it repaired the same day. True, professionals! They are now my family's go-to shop. I would recommend Doug's to anyone requiring auto maintenance or repairs.

Took the car in for tire change. All four of my wheels got scratched, and one of the TPMS sensors damaged. Called back to get the sensor fixed, but they told me I have to wait 2 weeks before they can take a look. On the day of the appointment got a call from them saying their technicians are out sick, so they need to send me to their other location. Called the other location to find out that they are not tracking anything about my appointment or referal. At this point I decided to just forgot about them, and get my issues taken care of in another location.

Doug's Auto Center 2 (formerly Burrough's) - Needed my car repaired in a hurry before returning to VA, while visiting Southern Pines last month. Super nice and competent employees diagnosed and repaired (new axle and CV joint) and I was back on the road with no more vibration by noon.

O2 sensor went according to the check engine light. $298.00 for part. He started fixing it and noticed a wire came out of the sensor. All fixed, no charge. Not sure if any other garage would have been honest with me about this. So grateful

Great job, very friendly both over the phone as well as the mechanic. Couldn t have my truck towed because of the slant in my driveway so they came and fixed my truck in my driveway! Couldn t have asked for a better experience...

Doug's is the only auto repair shop for me. They are honest and so good at their craft. I only trust them for a job well done and at a fair price.
