Outstanding Used car dealership, Gary s truly deserves 5/5. If you re searching for a good deal on a vehicle your best bet is Gary s Auto Sales. Every person here is extremely trustworthy and genuinely have the customers best interest in mind. Highly recommend this dealership as they are in the business in selling good quality vehicles. After having a run in with a deer that totalled our Ford Flex, we were in search of another Flex comparable to what we lost.Searching the internet we came across Gary's Auto Sales and decided it was worth the drive to check out the two Flexs on the lot. Thankful we did!! After Thomas explained the thorough inspection and service the vehicles go through & the Carfax, we were sold and so was the silver Flex. Thank you Thomas & the great staff at Gary's for handling all the "paperwork" as we were able to transfer our title work and tags today!!! We're on the road again!Sincerely.... Mj & Jeff

Completely floored! Never expected our experience with the whole team at Gary s to be so great! Sam was hands down the best salesperson we have ever dealt with!! Great people great car for a great price can t beat it this place is for real the best dealership I ve ever dealt with. Ask for Sam or Thomas you won t be disappointed in the care they take to make you happy. Great bunch of guys. Highly recommend them to take car of any of your car buying needs

Such a seamless process and down to earth place to by a vehicle! Sam and Gary and Jason are not your typical car salesman they are very genuine. They actually care about you driving away confident in you re purchase. I ll be back!

A few weeks ago I was in an accident in my wife's truck, they eventually called it a total loss. We started shopping around almost immediately for a new (to us) truck. As we were looking around dealerships in the area, My wife had looked online at a few trucks at Gary's and I remembered that they usually had quite a few on the lot. We took a drive over on a Saturday and found a truck that my wife fell in love with, Sam and Thomas went over everything with us and we closed the deal on Monday. Sam and Thomas were really fantastic, friendly guys that went above and beyond to make sure everything worked and was just right for us. We can't say enough about it. My name is Matt and I purchased a vehicle from Gary's Auto Sales on 4/8/2023. The process was quick and efficient all things considered. I worked specifically with Thomas and he was very helpful and respectful of my time (I live 6 hours away). What really impressed me was I bought a truck that has some definite age and miles on it. Garys insisted that if I was to have any issues call them first. So I had some issues and I called Thomas back and talked him through what was going on and they helped me out. They in no way had or were expected to help me after the purchase a truck of this age, but they did. I would definitely recommend Gary's Auto Sales to anyone looking for another vehicle. -Matt

Our experience with this dealership was exceptional. Sam was our salesperson, and he was a top notch person to work with. He was upfront, transparent, patient and very easy to work with. There was no pressure and we appreciated how friendly and open this dealership is. We highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a used vehicle.

For a small dealership in the southeast, these folks step up in a big way. Sam and Jason were very professional and courteous and assisted my family and I in getting a truck fitting for us. Will definitely recommend these folks to anyone looking to buy a vehicle without being hassled.

Drove a couple of hours to get to Gary's Auto Sales and I sure am glad I did. I left with a great truck at an even better price. The folks there treated me like family and I never felt like it was the typical dealer experience of being jerked around on the price. They worked with me to give me a great deal on the truck and a more than fair price on my older trade in. I highly recommend checking them out, and when I'm in the market again I'll definitely be back.

I have been to two other dealerships before here and I m glad my other deals fell through because Sam made my buying experience so pleasant! I will start recommending Gary s auto sales to anyone I know looking for a car. Sam was so kind and made sure I knew what i was signing and didn t try to push me into anything I didn t want. He definitely made sure I left very happy with my vehicle. The whole process was so smooth and they were so patient with me! 10/10 from me

I highly recommend Gary's Auto; they are not your "stereotype" used car dealer. I've always bought new, and have heard nightmares about buying from a used car salesman! But not Gary's. My experience was completely the opposite. My salesman was Thomas, who was absolutely fantastic! He, as well as the dealership, were not pushy or fast-talking -- instead they were honest, helpful, offer good prices, and work with you with any help you need, even after the purchase. In fact, Thomas went above and beyond. I feel comfortable I got a fair deal for a quality used car at Gary's and would definitely go back to them. If you need a used car, go to Gary's, and ask for Thomas, you won't be sorry. It was a pleasurable experience. AND I LOVE MY CAR!!!!

I promised I would write a review when we left Gary s a few weeks ago, but, there were a few promises hanging in the basket so I wanted to see how we would be treated after the sale was over before I gave 4-5 stars.Unfortunately, like most auto purchasing experiences, the beginning of the transaction was very good. Everyone catered to us and they were super kind. However, after the sale of the vehicle it has been so hard to get the necessary responses or follow ups.We traveled from another state to purchase the vehicle and were told that if we saw anything to call back because although there was no warranty the owner always took care of customers in the event there was something major.The transaction process was long but overall ok, until we got to the registration and final paperwork.There were a few challenges around registration of the vehicle. We shared some options that we KNEW were available to us that initially were disputed by the sales team however, the bank did verify the options that we shared. Glad to know we could shed some light on processes that might benefit future customers, however it did feel a bit belittling to have to challenge what they had never done before. We completed the sale with a few IOUs from them to us. We waited and waited for correspondence from the company only to have to follow up several times. The lady who handles the billing/accounts, we were told, was constantly out and it really caused challenges on our end when trying to register the vehicle!! Car sales issue 30 day tags but it took over 2 weeks and our pestering to get what we needed, what they assured they would get right to us. They did send a thank you card quite quickly but not what we needed, despite clearance from the bank.After the truck was purchased it appeared that the spare tire was missing. We were told that if anything were wrong to call so we did. We were told that the owner would replace the spare tire and would be sending it soon. That was nearly 2 weeks ago and after 2 follow up calls we continue to get the runaround.They really seemed like nice people so I hope they make this right. We had recently purchased another vehicle and the transaction was fast, the salesperson responsive before and after the purchase so maybe we had too high hopes for this dealership after that amazing experience.If we hadn t had these challenges I m sure I would ve left a much better review. They seem like nice enough folks... most salespeople do.If you buy from them just make sure you handle everything that day and don t rely on follow up.

My experience was like a kid at Christmas. From beginning to the time I left. Michelle was so helpful making sure things were perfect and they offer an extended warranty, which she totally explained. They have a full service department right on sight. I love my car. I love the all the family and friends at Gary's Auto Sales Sneads Ferry..

We were on vacation camping at North Topsail Beach, six hours from home, when our vehicle engine died! My husband called Gary s and explained our situation to Thomas. He was very helpful on the phone and when we got there in person, Thomas had several options set up for us. He was diligent in seeing that our needs were met and we drove off in a nice pickup truck capable of towing our camper home safely! We are very thankful for Thomas s patience and diligence. Jason was also helpful in assisting us. We highly recommend Gary s Auto Sales and the services of Thomas and Jason.

Looking for Car? Be at peace at Gary's Auto. I just purchased a Pontiac Solstice from them. Every step of the way it was a no nonsense process. I knew what I could afford and they were more than willing to get the price right. Everything was done practically over the phone. Prior to purchase the whole car was examined by their mechanic well before I even knew the car existed on their lot . If anything is wrong with the car after you drive off the lot they want you to bring it back so they can make it right. An Extended warranty was offered by a third party insurance company because GWC insurance knew the car was inspected prior to purchase. I was told they have been doing business in the area for several decades. Sneads Ferry is a small area so if your rooking the locals you will soon be out of business. I drove up from Wilmington to buy the car. I enjoyed all the people there and felt better buying for the car from them. Enjoy your day. I bought my car from Sam and Thomas.

My family had such an awesome experience with Thomas at Gary s today. I started speaking with Thomas via FB msgr several days before driving 2+ hours to see the car. Working with him was like talking with a friend. He was attentive to my son, that was a typical 7 year old asking a million questions.He was the opposite of any car salesman I ve had experience with he didn t push me to buy a car, because he didn t want me to buy a car that I didn t feel was right for me. Instead he worked to get me the best deal possible (honestly a deal I didn t even believe was possible) on a car I loved. My husband and I were so very impressed, and shocked at our experience. While waiting for my bank to finalize the sale, he told us about what God has done for him and his family, and the story about his path to becoming a Christian. He even asked to pray with us before we left. This was by far the best experience we have ever had buying a vehicle we truly feel God put Thomas and this company in our paths.

This was my first time buying from a dealer. It could not have been any more comfortable of an experience. Right from the first phone call, Sam Hudler treated me with a level of unrivaled respect and professionalism, without any kind of pressure or anxiety. Overall, this experience was extremely personable and friendly.Based on my down payment, he was able to reduce the price of my vehicle without haggling. Payment is very upfront, and this dealer provides a wide array of competitive financing options. If you're looking for a quality truck or SUV, I highly recommend this dealership.

Gary s is the best place to purchase a vehicle. Sam (sales) helped me find a vehicle I love and Thomas (manager) gave us a awesome deal. He was very nice with my toddler as well. He offered her snacks and made us feel comfortable. Family friendly with no pressure and quick.

I actually bought a Tacoma over the phone from Sam at Gary's auto. Working with this group was one of the easiest things I've done, especially buying a car. I received great pictures and daily updates on progress. They also helped coordinate the shipment of my truck with a great driver who also stayed in contact with me every step of the way. I was confident in what I was buying and if I can't say enough how much I appreciate their honesty and service. Thanks again Gary's and I highly recommend this dealer to everyone.07 Tacoma X-Runner

I bought a 2015 Chevy Silverado LT 4x4 Crew Cab from these guys. I'll just say that there is a reason they have an A+ as their BBB rating. Just great guys, who want to see you get a deal. There were some things wrong with the truck that I felt like needed to be fixed, and Jason Frye had them all fixed, all included in the price. If you're looking to buy a good used vehicle, these guys will listen to you and come your way to make sure you get what you want and need. Plus, they are just down to earth guys! They want to talk and actually get to know you! They're not looking to get you to go in debt, that's your choice. Try them...they're awesome!

I was helping my parents find a newer Dodge Grand Caravan. I found a great deal at Gary's Auto Sales. I spoke with Sam, and he went above and beyond to help us out. There was no pressure in buying the van. He was patient with my parents and explained each piece of paper that they had to sign. He was kind and treated us like family. I highly recommend giving Sam a call at Gary's Auto Sales when you need your next vehicle.

I shopped online before I went to Gary's. I knew they had the top vehicle on my list, but it was slightly out of my range. I told Sam (sales) and Thomas (manager) what I was looking to spend, and they gave me the price I had in mind. But... the jeep had no back seat. A deal-breaker for me since I'll have to drive the kids around sometimes. They were able to obtain the part and keep the price right. Handsome fellers who know how to help customers.

I would like to thank Sam for a wonderful car buying experience. He was very patient with us, even though we are picky buyers. For the first time ever I can say I enjoyed buying a new car. I didn't feel hastled at all. We went to look at cars, and left with a new friend. If you want to buy a car from someone who truly cares, go to Gary's Auto in Sneads Ferry NC and ask for Sam! He's the best!

This place has my full support, and I felt like I met my second family here. Trust me when I say if you re looking for a vehicle in North Carolina, this is the place to go. I worked with a very nice man who's name was Sam and I have bought a few vehicles in my life and this was by far the best experience. He was polite never rude never pushy worked with me to help me get the best deal on my new truck. The rest of the staff was also very nice and offered drinks and snacks and even a t-shirt. I have never met anyone in the car sales business so professional and polite. THANKS GARY'S AUTO SALES

Recently bought a GMC Yukon from Sam at Gary's. Could not be happier with the deal. Sam was first class. He worked with Justin to get the right deal for me. I made a couple of trips and asked what probably seemed like a thousand questions before getting the deal done. I will look to them first next time I decide to trade. Honest, upfront, helpful, courteous, not overly aggressive in their sales approach. A truly good experience and I will be back to visit.

Although we're a short drive from many of the big dealerships that little voice inside side me said, "make that two hour drive to Sneads Ferry." Boy are we glad we did. A small dealership that is big on friendliness which makes one feel at home. No hassles, no games, no bait and switch, no pressure. Thomas, the manager, sit down at the desk, looked at me and asked, "What will it take for me to get your business today." It was a very busy day at Gary's but Thomas and Salesman Sam made our buying experience a very pleasant one. Thank you.
