One of the best places to get work done. I've had engine work and state inspections done on our RV with superior results. Would recommend them for any job.

I will be reposting soon. This business has nothing to do with Firestone. This business is independent. Don't go there thing that you are going to Firestone. They don't stand behind nothing they do. They get all they can out of you and then you on your own. I.took them to court and they were found guilty. They got there tires back and the court order them to pay the money back. I have.not got the money back as of now. I think they will be more to this.We went to court 12 of December 2023. I will reposting soon.I hope they pay so we don't have a new court date. I got the money today so I know not to go there. I want everyone to know not to sign anything at this business because if you do he not reliable and you can't get your money back. Please read what on the bill and understand what it said. If you sign it's over for you. Best thing just don't go there. This business has almost as many bad review as he got good so that should tell you something. One more time don't go there.i don't know how he has a 3.7 he has a lot of bad review

Worst place I have ever took my car to..didn't test drive car after putting part on..left me beside road on curve..called Jason to tell him .he didn't care told me they don't guarantee the work .ask about him coming getting car and he said no..Never go their again don't care about customers and I am disabled..never again sorry place...vickey manley

Was told I needed rotors for my car so after $ 1100.00dollars I told them I wonted to keep them so I got a mic gage and checked my self I see they was lying to me so be aware don t just listen to what they re saying no your vehicle. I had just bought this one and did not know picture show I had good rotors.

Jason was awesome I have been a mechanic from points&distributors time, Jason gave me a direct time for service and was willing to explain all my shown codes and what should be done first which made it easy.P.s. got home and noticedNo codes were on my invoice, so I called back for help to get information to which the only thing I got was a sorry take your vehicle to a dealership we don't save info on cars, bottomLine is check your invoice before you pay . Otherwise mistakes of there's will not be entertained

Walked in and not a single soul around, not even any mechanics working. Guy was munching on a bag of doritos. I inquired about the issue with my car. Was told that wld be $150 for them to look at it (even tho i told him i already knew what problem was), then he ask if i could leave it till monday(it was friday). Told them Id think about it. I left, never to return. The whole experience creeped me out, lol. Would give 1 star but i guess i was able to walk inside and there was someone at the counter.

Very well equipped shop. I would ve given them five stars but I called in advance and I asked how much the mount and balance tires I was told $15 a tire since I had four tires done that was $60 plus tax but there was an additional 6.26% Add on that was never mentioned when I called or before I got the service done. He said that was for shop supplies. Well there are no shop supplies required to mount four tires. He did not make an adjustment or apologize for not mentioning it to me in advance I told him I didn t like surprises but he didn t seem to care I don t think I ll return

Integrity and attention to detail. Always get exactly what I need done to my car without all of the upsell pressure. If the car needs something Jason is patient to explain what is needed and why- but he leaves the decision to you. It's great to have a reliable resource like this shop, ESPECIALLY when you do route work and need things running. Fortunately I get my preventative maintenance done here, and problems are avoided.

I've been buying cars and having them serviced for over 30 years. I've been burned many times with disreputable service centers who seem to be as plentiful as used car dealers. Upon a recommendation from a friend I visited this shop and was very pleased with their service. They have been courteous, respectful, honest and even bent over backwards to do the job and then some. In fact I've been back many times since, and have and will continue to refer others to them. If you're looking for a family-owned business to get your car worked on and treated like a human being rather than a number then this is the place to go!

We brought our car here as a referral from another customer who had a good experience. The staff was excellent and went above and beyond to make sure the issue with our car was corrected. They did give us a list of other things that needed to be corrected with our car, which we found was very helpful. We were able to plan what repairs were needed and when to get them done. Never once did they try to push or sell us services. We are thankful for honest mechanics.

I went here because my check engine light came on after I traveled from NY to NC. My mechanic in NY made me well aware of my thermostat needing replacing. He never told me I needed a new intake manifold. Long story short these guys give me a whopping bill of $2300 and all of 10 mins after pulling off there's oil and antifreeze spilling from the bottom while I'm driving... Clearly not an issue i had when bringing it to them.

took my car for an oil change and inspection. after paying way too much for filters and oil change and other repairs I was told it would not pass without 4 new tires. the tires on the my car only had about 7000 miles on them. I was given an outrageous price to replace my current tires. I told him I could not afford their price and find them cheaper somewhere else. I did- about $200 cheaper. anyway, I was also told I would need to come back to his shop to finish the inspection. I now know I could have gone somewhere else and just paid the $23 to finish the inspection. when I found the new tires I was told by that shop that the tires on my car should have passed inspection but since I was already in the computer the were not comfortable inspecting the my car. I took it back and after being told there was no way I purchased "good" tires for that price, I finally received my inspection sticker. I would have let this go but so of my friend, who are elderly, took their car for inspection and was told the same thing. I sure wish I could have caught them before they went to this shop. they also went to another place to buy tires and spent over $300 on these tires to pass their inspection. they were also told at the shop where they bought their tires they should have passed. this was a different place then where I bought mine. when they returned for their inspection sticker, they were made to wait while the employee made personal plans. not happy with the mechanic at this place of "business" at all.

My husband and I have trusted Performance Tire with our vehicles for years. I strongly disagree with the negative reviews posted here, and would advise everyone to ignore ANY reviewer that attacks on a personal level. The people at Performance Tire are friendly, honest, and provide an atmosphere that welcomes families with children. They make every effort to accommodate for time and availability. I absolutely recommend their service.

Jason has worked on several of my cars and always done a superior job at a reasonable price. The staff is friendly and seems to care about what my needs are as a customer. I have had nothing but great experiences with Jason, Val, and the staff at Performance Auto.

Don't never take your car here. I had a $2,600 bill I paid the bill an left. Well later dat night my car ran hot my radiator was linking an clearly I wasn't doing dat before I had them work on it. They rush on my car to get the $$$$ an the funny thing about this is its all started with a flat tire.

I took my car in for an inspection, but the mechanic on duty told me the drive belt was bad and needed to be replaced before passing. I said it couldn't be possible because I had had it replaced not long over a year ago. Under no circumstances would the mechanic and owner allow the car to pass inspection. I took the car to another mechanic and asked if the belt needed to be replaced. The mechanic said no, that it looked like new. He said belts need to be replaced when they are cracked like dry skin or when they have pieces missing from the grooved side, and neither was the case with the car. Nonetheless, I went to Advance Auto Parts across from FPTAC and asked the employee if he thought the belt needed to be replaced. He said the same thing the second mechanic had told me! He also gave me a "comb" that measures belt tread for wear, and it showed the belt was perfectly within limits. I decided to take the car to a different place for inspection and it passed without any problem. So save yourself time, money and frustration and take your car elsewhere.

We had to take my Honda back to this store 3 times for a right rear tire leak before the leak was repaired. Still not sure it is fixed. The first time my wife went in they said the right rear was fine (it was not) but they fixed a nail in the left rear. The 2nd time my wife showed them a picture of the flat tire and they said they checked it again and said they could not find a leak. This tire has gone flat 4 times in the last several months. When I went in with a thoroughly disgusted outlook they finally took the time to take off the tire and remove corrosion from the rim. When asked why this was not done the first time they had no good answer. Why did I have to get so upset before finally getting better service from this establishment?

Do not go to this place!!! Went for oil change, but explained oil light came on and empty as we checked so basically all they had to do was put oil in car. They said we had multiple major oil leaks, but we knew different and called our mechanic for years in another state and he told us they are full of it. Oil was flowing out of car like a faucet upon driving and THEY were the ones that caused issue! Funny how car never leaked and they claim major oil leaks and suddenly oil profusely flowing out of bottom as we replaced oil. Had to get car towed and took to REAL MECHANICS that confirmed part can not just unloosen by itself!!! Scammers and take your business to trustworthy company.Also, has a huge Bridgestone sign in parking lot and a Firestone logo on building so I thought they were these businesses. No where does the name on the invoice match the logs and signs they advertise!

Was in the area to look at a used truck at a new car dealer in town... had a 10am appointment on a Friday for a pre purchase inspection. After arraigning everything ahead or time with the dealer (who where jerks) big surprise when I got there they wouldn't let me leave with the truck for more than 2 hours. I called performance and they said bring it in when I could. Finally I got to performance and the mechanic had it 10 mins before calling me into the shop. He told me the truck was a flood vehicle and showed me water and silt that was still trapped in body panels inside the truck... then since he didn't do the rest of the inspection he charged me a discounted rate. Awesome guy, made my day, and helped me avoid what could have been the worst purchase of my life.

Jason and company do a fantastic job and really care about their customers. If they say it is a certain price, but end up not having to fix a certain part they will be honest and not charge you or take advantage of you. I would highly recommend their services to anyone in need of a good trustworthy mechanic!

DONT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! Forgot to seal freeze plug therefore causing my motor to overheat and blow up. Never can get my vehicle right, has had vehicle for 3 days and it still has not it right Everytime I take it to him it always comes back messed up. He has taken over 3000 dollars worth of my money and still having to get it fixed. The worst service and a horrible attitude. Very very over priced

Frauds!! Do not get your car fix with these people! They charged me almost $800 dollars to repair a pulley tensioner and to replace a battery. Less than 30 days later the battery went dead! I go back to have it replaced, the manager say ummm I didnt charge you for the battery. Im taking them to court!!

Hate going in for repairs? I do! When I moved to N.C., (2007) I had to start all over again finding a GOOD, PROFESIONAL, CLEAN, FRIENDLY & REASONABLY PRICED TIRE & REPAIR SHOP I COULD TRUST & FEELING COMFORTABLE WITH!!!I FOUND THIS PLACE BY ACCIDENT!!DESPERATE, for a special TIRE, for my Mazda 5 , I tried this place. They knew more about my car, than 4 different Mazda Dealers, (N.C, MARYLAND, VERGINIA, & S. CAROLINA MAZDA)I was extremely impressed, very happy with their service, to say THE least!!THE PROFESSIONALISM, TRUST, PRICE, KNOWLEDGE, CLEAN FAMILY CONSIDERATE WATING AREA & PEACE OF MIND THEY GAVE US, MAKES THEM A 5 STAR TOP OF THE LINE 100 PERCENT BEST SERVICE SHOP TO USE!!

Performance Tire and Auto has serviced both of our vehicles since they opened their doors as a business. They have performed a variety of services on our vehicles including oil changes, air filter replacement, spark plugs, belts, brake work, new tires, sensors, inspections, and so much more. We appreciate their level of service and expertise, but most importantly their honesty with us on each and every service visit. Thank you for all you do!

Terrible service. Took my truck here to get it aligned while being there for good over an hour just chatting with another lady the guy comes out and tells me they couldn t do it because there system couldn t read it and tosses my keys on the counter. I stand there waiting for him to tell me why it wouldn t read or what happened? and all he says is have a nice day ! Last time coming to this place.

Never will I darken the doorway again. Total tipoff. 1 mechanic trying to work on 4 vehicles at one time. Guy behind the desk is a know it all. Badmouth the brand of vehicle I was driving. Should keep your thoughts to yourself in business. Lesson learned. Way too expensive for the work that was done.

CHEAPEST AROUND!!! People were friendly and straight up. I brought my car there for a swap and balance and they were fairly quick and honest about what else was wrong with the vehicle. Very fair and know what they are doing.

My fianc�'s car had been "fixed" at another repair shop and The problems they caused were a safety hazard. Jason fixed them quickly and expertly! I will take all my cars to him!
