Tim and the crew were exceptional. Local to Smithfield.It's very hard to find great trustworthy people who look after the customers needs along with great car care.As the world has gone insane.It's great to have peace in knowing I have a service team to take care of all my auto needs.I took my car in to get new tires. I had in mind the tires I wanted, and Tim recommended a better quality tire without being a pushy salesman. So I went with his suggestion.They did an inspection on my vehicle.Took pictures of some problems areas where I had twisted my front brake lines when I replaced the brakes, and stated with the extra stress on those lines they will ware out and crack overtime.This I could fix myself, or schedule an appointment.Since I was familiar with the how to fix it. I took care of this problem myself.They gave me a complete inspection report with images.As I was waiting.I really saw the incredible character and care and concerned that was given to each customer who came in.The hospitality and service was awesome!Thank you, I won't take my vehicle anywhere else.

Both service advisors, Tim and Doug, do a great job of making you feel welcome. Tim has been impressively affective in getting the job done and done right. As a layperson, I depend on the car mechanic's ability to diagnose the car's issues so that everyone is safe. I trust Evans Tire and Automotive as competent mechanics.

Right at a holiday weekend, I had lights come onto my car that signified possible alternator trouble. Although they could not get me until the first part of the week. I was able to get family to help over the weekend. On Monday they were able get me loaner and let me drop my car until they could get to it. They were able to work well with me, kept me informed, detailed oriented, and appreciative of my business. They were upfront with pricing and provided options as needed. Service was exceptional including phone, in oerson and actual service. I could not have asked for any better experience than what I received. Very proud to leave them this review.

One of the best auto-motive serivce places in the area. I used too travel way out to the likes of garner or well known places like Just Tires or Pep Boys, but their services were limited. Mr.Tim & his staff displayed professionalism & great detail with my vehicle issues. Rather than just telling me what i needed to do, he told me what the issue was, gave a price & solution. Pretty much gonna be bringing my car here for everything going forward.

Very pleased with the service. Was impressed with the fact that they inspected my vehicle for the issues I went in for then the tech showed me his findings on my vehicle in the shop. Most places do not allow customers in the shop. Tim the tech and myself went over everything and made the decision on what work was needed. Work that another shop wanted to charge me for without showing me the issues was not needed and Evans did not try to do this work at all even if they could have to make more money. Safety issues on my vehicle were a top priority. All work was done in a timely manner and completed on schedule. Was even given a loaner car while mine was being worked on. I finally found a shop I will return to and feel comfortable with their work and decisions.

I HIGHLY recommend Evan s Tire Automotive Center. The expedient manner in which my vehicle concerns were handled, as well as the professionalism, expertise, and effective communication of the staff, particularly from the owner Tim Evans, far exceeded my expectations. In a word SUPERIOR! It simply does not get better than this!!!

Personable & professional. I had a blowout on 95N near Smithfield. Tire completely shredded. I found Evans on the internet & they turned a bad day around in 2 hours. Fit me in their busy schedule. Tracked down a tire that met my car's specs (I got the impression they didn't have it in stock). Provided coffee & snacks. Before leaving Evans I checked the back of the car for the spare. I expected to see it tossed in the back on top of my golf bag. I discovered that the installer had returned the spare to its proper location, attached with the correct hardware. The cost to me was fair & reasonable. Evans is the best experience I've ever had w/automotive services.

I would recommend this business to anyone needing tire or auto service. They were friendly, professional, and thorough in all what we needed. Tim and Doug are who we interacted with and were a pleasure to deal with. We had a tire issue that couldve stranded us and been very costly. These guys came through big time and saved us money to boot. Highly recommend if you need tires? Go see them.

Outstanding service. They are a business that cares about their customer. They discovered my car had the wrong lug nuts for the type wheels that are on it and got me the correct ones. When they found they couldn't align my car due to it's age, they gave me the name and location of another local shop that had the equipment to do it. I call that "Customer Care". I highly recommend them.

Tim was very courteous. He answered all my questions and sent me a link with pictures of my tires. They are reasonable in their prices. I am very satisfied and recommend to family, friends and coworkers.

First time using their service and they were absolutely fantastic. Need new rotors, brake pads, brake fluid flush, 2 tires, and an alignment. Made an appointment with a drop off and pick up same day. Doug was the gentleman I spoke to, held open communication throughout the process, gave me the estimate and the final price was just under that. A week has gone by and I have had no noises or problems!! I will definitely be using these guys in the future for my other vehicles. Excellent service.

This place is beyond amazing! Somehow ended up getting 2 flat tires on the way to Virginia decided to stop in and see if they could help in a timely manner and these guys squeezed me in last minute and got me back on the road in less than two hours! Very friendly and great customer service! Also warned me about my other 2 tires letting me know they had a few hundred more miles left in them so I might wanna be careful! Never tried to upsell me! Just kept me in the loop! I d go to them for anything if I lived out that way!!

600 miles away from home I heard a scaping noise coming from the rear brakes. Unfamiliar with the area in Smithfield, NC, I found Evans Tire & Automative Center. It was after hours when I arrived at their shop, but saw they opened at 7:30am, at which time I was there the following day with no appointment. Upon arrivsl I was informed they were booked up for the day but Doug suggested I wait to see if the 8am appt arrived. To my luck, the 8am was a no show and Doug Hitchcock took my vehicle in to the mechanic, who began working immediately. I was in a dilemma and limited in time as my wife and cat were stuck at the hotel with an 11am check-out. Doug was diligent in keeping me informed of the progress with repairs. The bad brake was replaced, and I had a complete brake job done. I'm grateful to Doug for accommodating me and understanding my situation and I'm thankful to the mechanic for his good work. Needless to say, I'm thankful to the "no show" making it possible to be on the road by 11:30am.I highly recommend Evans Tire & Automative Center who operate with a first class team.

I just moved recently from Allentown, PA to Selma, N.C. I have lived there my whole life which I will be 43 on 1/29. So I had the same mechanic that my parents use to go to for a very long time. I won't lie I was worried cause the mechanic I had was the best who told you, yes u need this now or get it taken care of in 1 month, 3 months etc. Always fair with prices and never took advantage of u, or said work was done to car and wasn't even touched. As we all know these things happen to people everyday unfortunately. And very sad at that. I had gotten a flyer in the mail from Evans. So I had to go to store and saw I was nearby. I stopped in and was greeted right away by Tim. He was so nice and I explained to him I didn't know how the rules worked meaning is it walk in or do you make appt. I told him I had gotten flyer and needed an oil change. Tim told me it was by appt so we made one. I went there and they do the 16 point inspection and found some issues with my car. Tim broke everything down to me in regards to the whole car in general with some of its needs as well. I asked him where do we start and I was honest and let him know I live paycheck to paycheck. He told me you give me an amount and we see with that amount what can get done with car. And then we just keep going. I couldn't of been happier that I found Evans and especially can't thank (Tim Evans-owner) enough for his professionalism and kindness. I have found my mechanic shop!!!!!

He was very good to me, he had patience for me. I'm saying he did a great job. He was patient with me and took time to understand what I'm went sure that's what he did to me for me. Like I said if I was his supervisor I would give him a raise and he very I'm happy what you did for me, thank you very much. I will give him five, I'm happy his service thank you very much. I will keep telling everybody he did a great job for me, thank you.

Best service in Johnston county. Will not use anybody else from here on out, only evans. The customer service is unmatched, you just dont find businesses that take care of their customers the way these folks do anymore. I highly recommend evans tire to anybody!Service: TiresService: Tires

The easiest breakdown I ever had! I called Evan s and they arranged the tow and got the car up and running again in no time! Friendly and courteous service and not even terribly hard on the wallet!! Thank you Evans Tire!!

Simple answer: BEST TIRE SERVICE EVER! They were extremely friendly, professional and courteous. I was in a severe time crunch to get my daughter to work. They repaired TWO tires within 15 minutes and gave me an expert opinion on needing to replace the tires, NOT a pressure sales pitch. Last but not least, the price was ridiculously low. In a nutshell, I will NEVER use another tire service place as long as these guys are open. Thank you Clay and the crew for outstanding service. You earned a permanent, loyal customer. +military discount!!!

The guys there were helpful! Checked my tires and took out air in the overinflated tire. The next time I went I had a tire checked, there was a nail in it. They patched my tire. Only criticism I would say is that they should have asked it I wanted to fix/patch the tire. In other words, confirm the work before it was completed. And perhaps provide a quote. Tim is always nice when I visit. Would recommend to others.Service: Tires

New to the area and needed new front brakes at a reasonable price. I was informed the the rear brakes will need replacing soon but was not pressured at all into having those done on the same day. Great prices for the services and the customer service was fantastic, with updates as I waited for the work to be completed. Will certainly be back for future service on our households two vehicles.Services: Tire rotations, Brakes

Amazing customer service from both Jim and Tim. Didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need and treated us like a family member. Texted me with updates and questions and followed up after the service was provided. Customer service like this is hard to find! Highly recommend.
