Everyone I encountered while making my purchase was extremely friendly and proffessional. They were quick to offer help and answer any questions I had. This is my second new vehicle purchase since 2019. I will definitely be returning when it's time to renew again. I have only used their service shop twice. Once for and oil change, and again for a wheel repair. Both times the work done was finished in a timely manner and everyone was also friendly and proffessional. I would frequent their lube service more often if I didn't live an hour and a half away. If your looking for top notch service and a knowledgeable staff, Classic Ford of Smithfield is your place.Services: Tires, Oil change

Excellent service from the moment you step in the door. I was in & out in under 40 minutes. Dane, who greeted me, was with me every step of the way. He answered all questions was kind, professional. It was a great way to start the day.

I would like to start by saying poor communication and customer service with Service Advisor Jason BUT as our time got longer together the communication got better even to the point, I had his personal cell number. The customer service also greatly improved from poor to excellent customer satisfaction. Also, more people got involved. The start of this journey began Oct.21 with our parts getting ordered and being told by the service advisor parts would be there in three days. We went ahead and set up our repair dates of Oct.26 and 27. On Oct 25 we went to drop off car for repairs, I walked up to get the envelope for the key drop box. While getting envelope I know the service department had already closed, but Dane heard me push on the door that was locked. Dane came to the door and asked how I can help you Mr. Chalk (this is two pluses for me in customer service - took time after work and remembered my name). I advised Dane I was good just dropping the wife's car off for the repairs. He asked me if anyone had called me because our part was not there yet. I told him No Sir; he took me back to the parts department to track the part which was to arrive the afternoon before 5pm on the 27th.Now all parts are in and set up the repair for Nov.2 and 3rd dropping car off the evening of Nov.1. Jason called me on Friday 3rd to advise me that the mechanic was having trouble completing another vehicle he was working on, but that mechanic was planning on working Saturday to finish that other job. The plan at this time was to start on our car first thing on Mon. the 6th, I think he started late on Tues.7th or early Wed. 8th. Jason called me on Thur.9th to advise me the car was done but the mechanic wanted to keep it overnight and do a cold drive/start on the Fri.10th. I told Jason no problem I wanted to make sure wife car was right. Jason texted me the morning of the 10th about 8:15am and said the mechanic just gave him the key, we could pick it up. I asked Jason did the car drive smooth he said the mechanic told him it did. I asked how much was the bill? he advised me the amount which was higher than the estimate. When I asked about the difference, he said he would make it right, that he did - final charge was now only $17 more than the estimate which was understandable. Now come the Oh My God What the Heck! As my wife leaves the dealership, I pull out behind her, she calls me and tell me that the vibration in the car was very bad. I told her it may be the transmissions relearn process which was not one of the signs Jason told may happen. Jason advised we should drive it about 200 miles for the learn process for transmission. I drove the car myself the night of the 10th and told wife that this was not normal, the car at 60 mph was vibrating so bad the seatbelts in the back seat were hitting the inside of the car and the windows were also rattling. Now Sat, Nov.11th is when the customer service should get five stars. I texted Jason 8:11am to call me. he called me at 9:46 on his day off. He advised me that this was not normal that we needed to get it up there and have Ronnie to look at it. I called Dane about 8:30 and talked to him about the problem. he advised they was on a short crew but would try to look at it. In the mean time my wife is pulling in at the service department. Dane greets her and talks with Ronnie about driving it to check it out. At this point Ronnie and my wife ride down the road and he doesn't think it is a problem with the transmission. They wanted to start by balancing the tires to rule that out. While Destiny was starting to take off the wheel lugs the socket wasn't fitting correctly and they had to replace the lug nuts. the mechanic doing the transmission work and wheel bearing rotated the tires while he had it on the lift. By the bent rim being on the front we did not notice a bad vibration but once it got installed on the rear it multiplied by 100 times. On this job I would like to thank all that was involved from the Transmission guy (unsure of name), Jason, Ronnie, Destiny and Dane. Dane A BIG Thank You!

Classic Ford's service department is the best I've seen across 5 states - always transparent, helpful, informative, and friendly - I don't feel like I've got to keep an eye on them, double check their math, or second guess their authenticity (like some Ford service depts) - being new to this area, I worried about finding a reliable service department - after meeting Brad and his team, I am no longer worried.

The oil service is great but please be sure to check behind to see if your wheel lugs have been rounded. Otherwise the service is great.

Very unprofessional. Made an appointment. After 2 weeks past, going on the 3rd week, I called to ask when the truck would be finished. They hadn't even looked at it yet.....I tried to make another appointment and they said about 6 weeks. That would have been fine but then they followed that up with "there is no guarantee that we will look at it then either".I understand everyone is busy right now and stretched thin. But this place needs a system to handle appointments and knowledge on how to speak with customers.

Had my oil changed here several months ago. Decided to do it myself this time. When removing the oil drain plug it would NOT move. I believe the torque spec for the plug on my 2017 Focus ST is about 20 ft/lb. I must have been applying 80 to 100 plus putting everything I had into this plug. Gives you the feeling whoever installed it was using an impact wrench. Luckily I got the plug out but as you can see in the photo, it's destroyed. They EXTREMELY over torqued this. The threads on the pan survived, though I don't know how. If this is how they treat customers property count me out. Disgusting.

BewareI went to buy a new Ford F-150 as I talked to the internet manager we decided on a price and I went in. Once I got there he sent me to deal with someone else. The salesman was very nice and helpful. One we looked at the truck I say a $5000 national shortage charge. They are charging there consumers for there shortage. They did not discuss this on the phone and that is not personal at all. I called other Ford dealers around the area even the biggest car dealer crooks deacon jones and they don t even add this charge. Then they tried to take $2500 off of that $5000. So if they can do $2500 they can do $5000. I went to Sanders Ford and got the same truck different color for almost $9000 cheaper. I m just one person and I m sure the dealership don t care but there job is to lookout for consumers not screw them or be honest to them.

This system they use of each mechanic can only do one thing and if its a windsheild wiper, it needs to goto another mechanic across the yard doesn t work! Price gouging and poor service from the top with workers trying to help you bit can t because they can t beat the system they are working for...no American flag but lots of balloons. Whatever, I am not going back.

Don't go here to get your car serviced. Technicians will scratch your car and deny it. I've been coming to this dealership for the past 15 years, but will not return. Service has gone downhill.
