My GrandMOM always took her car here. And when she got older she "made" me bring it here. When I got older and got my own vehicle, I admit, I tried other places, however after coming on my own, I choose Cecil's service center over any other place. Now I understand why she remained faithful to Cecil's. They are the same as they were years ago. Friendly, welcoming, from start to finish just altogether amazing!!!There aren't enough stars for me to put in so I'll just settle for the 5...but I would give 1,000.

My husband and I use Cecil for most all of our auto needs. They re extremely friendly. Communicative and above all honest. We had sworn this last time we took my car up there that it needed a specific fix, Cecil called us and informed us that it didn t need it and it had essentially been misdiagnosed previously. Their integrity is top notch. They get your car in for the appt and out in a timely manner! Thank you Cecil and team for your service in Johnson County.-Devors

Absolutely wonderful! They fixed another shops mistakes for me at a reasonable cost and are going to save me in the future on oil changes. Very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely keep going back!

Cecil's has been a fixture in Smithfield for as long as I can remember and I am 54. My grandparents always used Cecil's and she's 97. My point is that a business cannot remain open for several decades without being an honest and reliable company. They treat you like family. And they know what they are doing. It's quality service.

Don t go here without an appointment. I showed up asking for service, even though there were two people washing one car, they said they were too busy to do a state inspection. I went there because of the good reviews and ended up having a poor experience. If they knew they were full, why wouldn t they have told me when I was parked right beside them instead of making me walk inside on crutches and open the door on my own both times. Wish I had a better review to leave.

Since moving from Long Island to BC, I had not found a trusted family mechanic until I was referred to Cecil's from my in-laws. I have now been going there for my cars' minor repair, state inspections, & maintenance for almost a decade. It is a family owned small shop owned by JT, who is as honest as you can get. I have never had a problem with their work and he will tell you where you can get parts locally and the cheapest if he can't order it for you at the best price. His daughter has been added to the team. She works the front desk and is very friendly and will honest with about wait times.Services: Tires, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

My daughter had a fantastic experience here. Finally found a place that didn't try to take advantage and rip her off. We will all be using Cecil's now. They are all very nice and professional. They don't lie to you and try to pad your bill like other places in town. It you are a female always get a second and third opinion. This place will be honest with you. We both have had a terrible time with automobile repair in Smithfield. Many with good reviews will still try to screw you over if you are a female. The latest was Evans Tires. But thank heavens we went to Cecil's instead and saved $800! Again be very careful females. Get Cecil's to look at your car before you trust any of these clowns in Smithfield. Many will sale you a gas tank you never even needed. But Cecil's is honest. It's a rare thing especially for females to find a honest repair shop. Thank you Cecil's, you restore my faith in humanity.Service: Oil change

This place was great! They were recommended to me by some coworkers and I walked my truck over to have the tire looked at. They were nice, knowledgable and very helpful. They are also very reasonably priced. I will definitely be back when I need an oil change.

This place is amazing. I moved to NC a year ago, and was worried about finding a reliable shop near my office. They treat their customers like family and always give you the best price. I was so stressed about my car, but Rebecca kept me updated throughout the process and was always available for my MANY questions (sorry about that lol). Thank you guys!!!

Went to get my car checked out due to a check engine light being on. said he was gonna try to change some plugs and see if that fixed the problem. i went to a trusted mechanic in Smithfield and he immediately saw what the problem was. ordered and changed the part within a few hours and charged me a little less than half of what i was going to be charged here. Seemed like a nice place here but always get multiple opinions before you choose a mechanic.

I have had my vehicles Serviced there for years. They are always friendly,give good service and don't make up stuff just to make more money. ( honest)

If you want a place that tremendously escalates prices on parts and uses that escalation as excuses for insuring those parts --- go here. I've never seen a repair shop or any business that could legally mark up the price of parts one hundred and thirty percent. People were super nice and tried to work with me but gave me a completely wrong diagnosis of what was wrong with my car ( which was unknown to me at the time) and paid almost $250 to get it fixed. Still had the problems and made new ones for me as well seeing as afterwards I found out my dipstick was broken in the process.
