My wife and I could not say enough positive things about Paul and his work. My wife has a Volvo that other local repair shops won't touch due to it being a Volvo. After a discussion with Paul about what issues we were having, he was more than willing to take a look and do the work for us. His response time in getting her car fixed was excellent. He was able to diagnose the issue and repair it at a third of the cost it would have been had we had to have Volvo work on it. We have since had him work on this same car one additional time with all things being corrected. His work is great, he is friendly, timely, and cost effective. We will continue to use Paul for our auto repair needs. We have and will continue to refer business to him.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Air conditioning, Wiper blade installation

I own a Volvo XC90 and not many local repair shops want to touch this brand of cars when things go wrong on them. We called Paul and told him what issues we were having and he was more than happy to take a look at it. He was professional, kind, quick to address the issues and willing to fix them at a very reasonable price. He has saved me trips to the Volvo dealership more than once! We will not use anyone else to work on any of our cars and are so lucky to have found someone local to help us with any and all our needs related to our vehicles! Can t say enough positive things about him! You won t regret taking your vehicles to his shop for repairs!

Paul really knows his stuff when it comes to cars! He has been able to diagnose and fix problems that others could not. Took my Subaru Outback to Paul for what another mechanic diagnosed as transmission failure. Paul was able to diagnose several more problems requiring attention and perform the repairs much less than quoted at the previous mechanic. He took the time to explain each diagnosis and was very communicative along the way. The value of Paul's service was impeccable. There's a reasons he has a waiting list to get serviced. My car is 16 years old and I love it. When it just started dying randomly everyone said buy a new car. I took it to several mechanics over the years who utterly ignored other problems and only fixed what I had diagnosed myself. Paul went through my car bumper to bumper. He told me everything about my car, why it was dying, other issues it had, what could wait and what needed attention. He told me it was a great car and worth more than any new cheap car I could afford. He fixed my electrical issue (everyone else told me it was because my elderly V6 leaks oil) and my car is running like a champ. I know the old girl will need work down the line and I will never trust anyone but Paul. Honest, fair prices, kind, quick, knowledgeable,thorough and just plain good people. Couldn t ask for a better mechanic for my 02 TJ Jeep and recently purchased Toyota Camry. Location was clean and easily accessible. Good place to park. I felt safe through my experience. Paul was very helpful and informative. He completed a diagnostic and sent an estimate. Based on my approval he completed necessary repairs and a list of recommended repairs. When I picked up my vehicle everything was as it should be. My vehicle is operating great. I called Mr. Hutchens after my 2012 Chrysler Town and Country broke down while driving one evening. He promptly had my vehicle towed to his shop. He was very upfront on the length of time it would take to look into the cause of things and the repairs. He kept me up to date on every thing he found as the work progressed on the vehicle. Mr. Hutchens spoke very respectfully and took the time to explain things in a way anyone could understand who isn t familiar with the ways of the inner workings of a vehicle. I am very pleased with my service and plan to use this shop any time I have an issue! We were able to call Paul asking for a quote and within a week, he had the parts ordered and the truck fixed. We were grateful for how quick he was and how thorough he was. I own a business and these guys are awesome. I had a break down on Thursday. We were closed the following Monday and they had me back up and going with no loss in revenue. It was a big fix. I thought it would be down for weeks. Great job I can't refer them enough.

Excellent. My wife s vehicle needed a/c repair and general service. Paul addressed all of the found issues as to what needed to be done and what could wait. Glad to have found Hutchens`Auto Repair.Paul, Thank you for your work and your service.Update; 15 October 2021I brought my 1994 Chevrolet K-1500 for service and general TLC. The pickup just did not have its normal get up and go. Paul diagnosed the issues and did a thorough check of all systems, and with only one real surprise all was well. First, let me be clear that I have received no incentive, discounts, or promises for leaving this review regarding Hutchens Auto Repair. I took my wife's 2015 Altima for a simple oil change and was astounded with the attention to detail and shop cleanliness that I was observing. Paul is meticulous during what most would consider a routine service and looking for potential issues which would save money in long run. I returned with my daughters 2005 Corolla for an oil change, her check engine light had been on for a year and numerous personnel said to replace a O2 sensor, Paul investigated and found that the recent sensor installed sensor was faulty. He also found that my daughters transmission fluid was very dirty with debris and "trash". He changed the transmission fluid also and my daughter stated her car rode like a new one afterwards. If you want to trust a company with your car and precious cargo contained within, then Hutchens Auto Repair should be your first and ONLY option. Michael Paul was able to diagnose the issue with our AC today. He fixed the problem and had us up and running with air so cold, it was running us out of the car!! I would recommend Hutchens Auto Repair to anyone needing an honest, trustworthy, and fair priced mechanic.

Paul was great. I had a pickup truck that needed steering and suspension work to pass state inspection. The horn quit working too. Paul was able to troubleshoot the horn problem and fixed it.
