I took my 2007 Saturn Aura to them in May 2019. They claim it was an electrical harness and took the money up front saying they needed it for the part. Now they claimed the part was coming from Michigan. The lady in the front office is so confused. I got my car and two days later my car knocked off on the highway, speed limit was 70 mph. My dash lights came on saying ENGINE DISABLED. Service traction and tire pressure along with the engine light. If it was not for the man in the car behind me my family would have been burying me. It cut completely off on the highway. I got my car back to NC and it knocks off in front of the speedway. I asked the Lady for a copy of the invoice on the part they ordered. She told me she doesn't have it. Then while my car in the shop for the second round the Lady called my phone saying they had to order another harness($100.00) and that it was coming out of Greensboro, NC. And that there was no charge for the remaining balance. Now since I still had the 90 day warranty all other charges were waived. I Asked for a copy of that invoice I still cannot get it. When I went to get my vehicle I waited 2 hours. This was July 2nd, gets in the car and all the same lights were still on. The mechanic tells me when I ride the system will reset itself?!? I looked at him like what did you just say. He repeated it again and said when I ride it will reset itself. I asked why didn't you reset on the machine. He looked then like he couldn't comprehend.The lady comes out with a gadget and hooks it up under my steering wheel saying it was spark plugs. She tells me to bring it back Friday on July 5th. If they did not know what they was doing they should have said so. Now my car is skipping and back firing now. My AC is no longer working. I'm on a fix income, I had to borrow this money and now I'm still without transportation. I really do not recommend this place. The same lights are still on the way I bought it to them. It's sad that they rather scam folks out of their money than to do the right thing. REPAIR THE VEHICLES!! REFUND ME MY MONEY BACK. Your answer that you all replied back on is worthless. Yes you all messed up my vehicle even worse. Take on the responsibility for y'all mistake. I'm use to traveling out of town I can only drive local with no AC and it keeps backfiring. And how could I take my car without u you all finishing it. Your business did and still do not know what your doing. So now your saying that I came on your lot and stole my vehicle before you can finish the repair. Yes I came to confront you all about my vehicle. Your staff is not knowledgeable of their job. You all even called the cops on me cause I requested the invoice of the part. WHY not give me a copy. Your business took my money I scraped up to get it fixed. Almost a $1000.00 dollars. If you paid that much you would want a receipt as well. STOP TRYING TO PLAY THE VICTIM OVER THE MISTAKES YOU ALL MADE ON MY VEHICLE. ARE YOU ALL STALKING ME TO KNOW THAT I'M DRIVING MY VEHICLE....HMMM! I can no longer drive out of town. Oh yes your security footage should show when I ask what did you all do too my vehicle If you paid that much you want to know where your money went to Period. And when I took to another shop, why did 13 plus codes come up. If your machine was right it would have caught all of this. It's sad how you all do business there. And the Secretary should not be doing inspections or replacing nothing unless she's certified, is she? I want a FULL REFUND of what I PAID. Oh yea you all still have my BATTERY COVER.

Been here multiple times and even referred a couple people here, honest people and affordable prices. Better than the other mechanics on 3rd street.

When our check engine light came on while passing through town, we headed to the nearest mechanic. The guy who helped us quickly ran a scan, let us know some of the possible scenarios based on the results of the scan, and reset our warning light when we decided to keep going. We offered to pay but he refused. Super impressed with the honesty and kindness here!

their service is very reasonable and professional. They don't even try to oversell anything. they want to repair the problem and keep the costumers running safe and sound. I highly recommend their services

I took my Honda CRV to Third Street and Auto because my car engine would not start at times. I thought it might be my battery but wanted a mechanic to check it out. I left them my car and was asked to leave $100 for them to look at it they kept it a day said they checked my battery and determined that was not the issue they said they had to check if it was something to with an electrical issue like or "parasitic draw" and that they need to take apart the dashboard specifically where the stereo to be able to look. Well, they did that and called me back and said the issue was that I needed a new instrument cluster and that they could get a used one which would add 30,000 more miles to my car. It would cost with labor and all about $ 800. I told them I needed to think about it and asked them to put my car back together that I was going to pick it up. It just seemed like something was not right so i decided that i would take it somewhere else. They seemed bothered when I asked them to do that but i picked up my car that afternoon and decided to take to the HONDA dealership the next morning as I was driving that morning I noticed the plastic around my stereo had broken plastic and they had tried to stick some of it back to where it was suppose to be but did not do a good job also my car stereo would not turn on at all. I arrived at the Honda dealership told them my issue and they ran it through their computer turn out it was only my battery that needed be replaced. I also asked to check my car radio because it was not turning on, they checked it and said it my radio was fried and that i needed a replacement they said the person that had opened it had not done it carefully and even chipped off part of the plastic around the surface and fried my radio in the process. I went back to Third street tire and audio and spoke with the owner and showed receipts from the HONDA dealership showing him my car only needed a new battery and let him know the person that worked on my car had messed up my radio as well. He seemed angry was very rude and denied that any of his employees would have done that. He told me to leave him my car and he would look at it and see what he could do, I did not trust anybody in that shop anymore and declined. He asked me what I wanted him to do about in a very rude tone and I asked him for my $100 deposit back which he did give me in a check and told me my car was going to start having issues again in a couple months because they issue was not the battery. Well, it has been almost year turn out my car just needed a new battery. I thought about writing this review because I don't ever leave reviews especially bad ones, but this experience was terrible.

I have been servicing my car here for 7 years now and will continue due to the trust I have . They are always curtious, kind and accommodating to fix whatever problem my car needs. Always great service , quick results, reasonably priced. I would recommend to everyone who cares about their cars service and needs. Thank you for the service you provide to keep me safe on the roads.

Many many thanks to Third Street Auto! I got to them around 1-1:30 and they close at 2 on Saturdays. These guys were more than helpful and stayed well after their closing time to assist me with my issue on my truck. Very nice, friendly, and genuinely cared and did not want to leave me stranded. If I m ever passing through and need a mechanic again, this will be my shop!

I left one tire place to get a plug and waited 45 minutes!! I left and came to 3rd Street Tire and auto and as busy as they are they was on it immediately! Every time I ve came I ve gotten excellent service! Absolutely the best

THIEVES! I went for a state inspection today and was charged $10 for having stock window tent?This place is ran by thieves! I ve own this vehicle 2018 Silverado LT since it came out and never had this issue before.

Third Street auto is a family owned business and they also treat you like family .They make you feel like the car is theirs also.Thay will not let you leave until its right. Just to tell you little about these guys I went to work one day and my radiator busted and I don t get paid till Friday these guys fix my car and told me don t worry about it give it to us Friday. they really treat you like family and Siler City is lucky to have these guys serving the community.

Fast, friendly service. Got 4 new tires and an alignment. No fuss, no trying to upsell or con me into getting things I didn't need. Used this service shop in the past and will use it again in the future.

I have been going to Third St Auto for years,that really says it all, and since day one G has treated me fair and with respect. As a customer I can t ask for nothing else and other than good work. I have zero complaints about this family owned business and I appreciate your customer service.

I went one time to do the oil change, at first they were supposed to charge me 20 something (No more than 25) but when I check out the charge me almost 60 bucks!! I was told that it was because they had to do something else in order to preform the service, but I was never notified until they done it. I will never recommend this place, and I hope this review can help anyone looking for a good place to change their oil.

Came here for an oil change and they promptly notified me of other preventative maintenance my car needed. They treated me well and provided me with the knowledge of my repairs. Fast and friendly people. Will come here again.

I picked up a nail in the rear passenger side tire. It was flat and the shop was close by. The leaky tire was plugged and we were back on the road in a half hour or less. Great job!

These people don't know how to fix vehicle, they watch youtube videos and then replicate it. The already messed up my car and dont wanna take the responsibility. Save time and money and go to a professional. This place is a junk.
