I absolutely adore this shop and am immensely grateful to have them in Siler City, NC. Their friendliness and expertise truly stand out (I know it sounds like a clich�, but it's genuinely not). I feel genuinely welcomed every time I step through their doors. It's remarkable how they remember my name and always manage to fit my car in with relatively short notice. Over the years, I've entrusted them with several of my cars some more worn out than others and I've never felt like I'm being fed a line of nonsense. As a woman who's had negative experiences in the past, trusting any auto shop was a challenge until I found this gem. Several cars later, my loyalty remains unwavering. Thank you for being truly awesome!

223,896 miles on my 2016 ford fusion. I'm a road warrior. During baseball season, I'm all over the state. I believe Nelson's Tire is the reason my car is still going. I never have to worry my high mileage car isn't going to get me there.I made the mistake over 3 years I've been coming to go to a quick lube a few times and something always happens (my car eats tires).I can generally call and can get an appointment the next day. I always wait and usually within an hour wait for oil change. Tire rotations are free if you buy from them!!!!!! So they rotate every oil change.I've always found their prices to be fair. They also will give me a heads up when a maintenance issue will need to be addressed like brakes. They are all just good people.This year they put tires on my car and my college daughters car. They called me to let me know she needed brakes too. I gladly took their advice to keep them safe.They have also helped with inspections and oil changes with our motor home.Bonus they play Andy Griffith which is sorta funny to me since "Aunt Bea" retired to Siler City.

Didn't want say anything but I saw all the great reviews that was posted. This place damaged my Tahoe by putting the wrong radiator in and claiming they didn't know after fact that we had to get 2 towes that added up to 600 hundred dollars. Yes !! He gave me my money back after I toke it to the Chevy dealership and got it fixed in order to get my money back but he didn't pay us back for the tows only the work he wrongly performed. I should post invoice from Nelson's and the Chevy dealership but I just wanted to voice my experience. Beware of this Business and he pick and chose who they try to get over on.

My wife was traveling and had a tire pressure light come on she stopped at Nelson s and asked them to check it out for her . They quickly identified the issue and got her back on her way. Very nice people.

I walked in with no appointment and only had about 30 minutes to spare to get a state inspection done on my car. They knocked it out quickly and on time. Thank you, Matt.

When I bring my cars for service I am treated with respect and they are very accommodating to my needs. When I pick up my car it is clean and what I brought the car in to be repaired is fixed.

Nelson Tire and Automotive is the best. Having been widowed a couple of years ago, it's imperative to me that I have mechanics I know I can trust. Nelson provides me with that level of comfort when taking care of my vehicles. I never have to worry or second guess whether they have done the work properly and efficiently. Nelson is fair, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. The people at Nelson Tire and Automotive are very knowledgable and do quality work. Their counter people and mechanics have always treated me and my often tag along children well. They are diligent in their work and have an eye for detail plus skills for trouble shooting.I have been using Nelson Tire and Automotive for approximately 10 years. I am single mom with only one car that needs to keep rolling in good repair. To me they have fair prices and can be trusted to do a good job with automobile maintenance and repairs.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment, Oil change

Nelson tire just gets it done. They always try to work me in, even when it is a last minute thing. While a lot of businesses try to work you in, and you end up sitting there all day while they do - when they say they will - they do. Even when I have to wait, it is a nice environment to sit and wait in. Don't let the burly nature of their mechanics fool you - they are really nice guys when you stop and chat with them. Nelson's tire has performed work on 2 different boat trailer bearing and brake failures. The sales staff is very professional and the mechanics have been able to make the specialized repairs. Mechanics are some of the most trusted people in our lives, and many of them are hit-or-miss. Nelson's falls squarely into the "hit" category. These guys are some of the most honest mechanics I've ever met. I have had a chance to chat with many of the staff in the back as well, and even though I can perform most of my auto work myself, I am happy to take it to them when I don't have time to deal with it myself. They also don't treat women differently from men which is a common complaint I have heard about many local shops in the other places I've lived. I can't recommend them highly enough.Edit: 4 years after leaving this review, it continues to be accurate. I stand by everything I said. They have stood the test of time. I see extremely low turnover as well--always a good sign.

I have gone to Nelson's several times and really like the service they provides. I have many people tell me that they're too expensive but it turns out they have good pricing for the service. I'll keep going to them. I went in to have my tires checked (low tire pressure light came one). I didn't have an appointment and I was in & out. Great service. Thanks Nelson's .

The best! We're traveling across the USA with our child and small menagerie of pets. We got our first flat tire on the camper near this shop. I called and they said they could change it for us (we had no floor jack). We pulled in and were back on the road in 15 minutes. No joke! This place is amazing and what a service shop should be. They saved the day for us. Thanks so much!

Wonderful customer service! I had a blowout late in the day, and they bent over backward to help me. They sent someone to change the tire immediately, ordered a new tire, and assured that I was able to get to where I needed to go. Highly recommended!

I was traveling home from college (a 6+ hour drive) when my car began to over heat. I stopped at many auto-shops and they all had an excuse for why they couldn t help me. When I entered Nelson s Automotive they were busy but still made the time to help me. Sweet and understanding staff. I recommend them 100%

The thing I liked about my recent tire change at Nelson was that they had in stock a 40K option, a 70K option, and then a top-tier option. Service was reasonably speedy. The service plan that comes with the tires is great, in my mind. I go there to get simple flats fixed at no charge.

Nelsons has taken care of all my vehicle needs for over 8 years. I have bought tires, had inspections, break jobs and once they did my wheel bearings. Never felt they were anything but honest and fair. Very knowledgeable and always fixed right the first time.

Talked to Keith about getting some tires put on 4 Runner.It just sure is refreshing to talk to somebody that wasn't just rushing you n to buying something and getting you off the phone.Going in morning to get them installed and front end alinghmant. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing tires or mechanic work done.

Stopped in to get a flat tire repaired. They were busy, but able squeeze me in. Great staff, great service! Very glad I was driving that way & decided to stop. I will definitely be a return customer.

Everyone on Staff at Nelson's Tire is Awesome.They treat you like family.They're the best.I come all the way from Raleigh to for those guys to work on my car when I have a problem with it.

They did an on the spot tire rotation for me as a new customer. Didn't have to set and wait forever. They got it in and done in no time at all. Nice clean place. Will be back when I need tires or vehicle work to see how they do.
