Struggled to find a reliable automotive place locally that would do quality work correctly the first time. Downtown automotive is great about not only fixing vehicles but also educating me as to what is wrong and options that don't break the bank. Extremely happy with them!

Went in for a rear seal replacement on my transmission. I had to take it back multiple times and on the 3rd time they finally fix the leak. Due to it leaking I now have a slight grind in 3rd gear. I wasn t charged extra but they should have fixed it right the first time. I m honestly disappointed and I won t be going back for any repairs in the future.Service: Transmission

I went in this place for an inspection. They charged me $38.00 for an air filter. The inspection apparently was $35.00. Which I paid of course. 70+$ then the woman tells me after I pay that my tint was a shade too dark for an inspection. This was told to me after I paid. That should've been the first thing they told me. But just like someone wanna stick one in you. After I pay 3 prices for an air filter and for an inspection that I didn't get. She told me she couldn't do. I have been pulled at least 3 times in my car. Police has never said a thing. I bought my cat from a local Dealership and it was inspected. Trust take your business else where. You will be glad you did.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Vehicle Inspection

my husband travels for work and his truck broke down. This business was patient and helpful since my husband is from Texas, we did not know his exact location. my husband I are so thankful since the tow truck business took the time to help my husband and get him to the nearest auto part. I highly recommend this place.

Even though I didn't have an appointment, they were able to work me in. My A.C. is running nice and cold now. Jack was very helpful, I will definitely be back!

Friendly, professional, and honest people. Dropped my vehicle off, didn't have an appointment. They said they would do their best to work it in, but they were booked solid for 3 days.Called me about 3 hours later and my car was done.We have gone to them for about 10 years now. Never a problem or complaint.Great people!!

These guys are HONEST and not only that they worked me in on my last day to get inspection on my car and I had never been there before. They were efficient and fast. I had my oil changed and car inspected, it was reasonably priced as well as doing a great job. A few months later and I just happened to look at the sticker in my window and I'm WAY WAY OVER to get my oil changed , I called them and was told come on by for us to check your oil , no charge and made my appointment for a few days later.Downtown Automotive is my permanent place for Auto work now.

This is a family run business. They are always very friendly and helpful. They are very knowledgeable therefore stay booked with appointments. They do everything under the hood. Provides towing services too. I like going here cause they know everyone. They always are looking out for the customer & won't recommend a service unless they feel it necessary. They're always honest with the customer.

I really like this auto repair shop. I ve been going to Downtown Automotive for approximately 15 years. I appreciate these mechanics and I recommend them. They are very knowledgeable and when I ve had car repairs from them the problem is fixed. They will explained thoroughly what s going on with your car also they do not work on your car without giving you the amount or ballpark figure before doing so. As a woman without much knowledge of car repairs, I ve never once felt like I was taken advantage of with high car repair payments from these men. It s very refreshing to receive good customer service and I recommend these mechanics to anyone needing car repairs.

I have been taking first my Corolla to them for regular maintenance and now my Acura. I really trust these mechanics. I have worked with them for 11 years and never had a problem. They always let me know if anything else is wrong before they fix it. They really go out of their way to accommodate your needs with a smile. I will never take my cars to anyone else. I really trust the great mechanics at Downtown Automotive and I am totally confident when I leave the car of my dreams with them to work on. The owners are their everyday and greet you with a smile and friendly conversation while you wait (if they can). Obviously I love them!!

I dropped my car off to have roaring in the rear end fixed. I was called saying that they been under the hood looking for things wrong and discovered other things needing fixed. I declined their service except to fix my wheel bearing fixing the roaring sound and when called me to say it was fixed they told me they replaced my turn signal without my permission. I told them I had already purchased the bulb they were in the console that my bf didn't have tools to get the light apart. They made it seem they were just going to take my bulb out of my car. My quote was for 209 for the wheel bearing but they charged me 25 extra for labor for the turn signal that I did not authorize them fixing. These people are rude and when asked why they fixed the turn signal they tried to lie and say I authorized them too which was not the case. They got ugly on the phone with my bf and offered a refund for the labor I plan to go pick that up. I have already found cheaper mechanic to fix my car these people will rip you off! Update! Went to get my money back for the signal and they threw the money across the counter and said I'll give you a refund but I dont know why. I didnt authorize you to do anything to my car other than the rear end! They are the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. My car is already fixed by a honest person not these people who lie just to get all your money.

They jumped right on charging my AC when all the other places in town couldn't get me in, even though they were busy. They're very professional. My father still uses them for repairs all these many years later since it was the Phillips 66 station.

This is a repair garage you can trust. They have done several repairs for me and always call to let you know the cost of the repairs before they do it. Its nice to have a service crew you can trust.
