As a long standing and loyal valvoline customer at locations throughout the country, I can honestly say the Shelby Valvoline has the most horrible customer service I've ever encountered. On a tight lunch break, sat in the lot and was ignored for 15 minutes while they spoke only with familiar acquantances. finally drove off to Jiffy Lube where they at least acknowledge customers and based on the great service and price I got from Jiffy Lube, will probably never be back to another valvoline again.

Finally, an HONEST business! I just took possession of a new used car and noticed by the sticker that it was overdue for an oil change. (Strange, I know but possible.). The guys at Valvoline informed me that the oil in the car was as clean as it could get and that most likely, the sticker had not been changed. They saved me $80 when they easily could have ripped me off and I would have been none the wiser. SUPER PEOPLE!

Great team Larry, Nicolas & Terrill! Excellent customer service & very informative on what my car needs were. Explained my new battery warranty to me. Excellent service and I really enjoyed our experience being a first time customer. I really appreciated how friendly and informative they were, my girls loved the attention given to them too! One of the best places I've been for my car so far, definitely recommended!

The service was very fast and efficient. Everyone was very friendly. I was able to get my oil changed and tires rotated within 20 minutes. Highly recommend this place for anyone who is in need of car services and needs it done for a good price and great customer service

They are now telling anyone that knows nothing about cars and or service, that the only oil change they sell is a 3000 mile oil change !!! Full synthetic 89.99 . Only good for 3000 miles ! No matter the quality of the oil or products used you need to come back in 3000 miles ask Dez and Charles to explain to you why you need a full synthetic oil change at 3000 miles! I m sure they can explain why they re telling their customers this ! Called corporate the lady I was talking to literally said she was emailing marketing about this ! So clearly their marketing strategy is to use your ignorance against you ! Gone are the days of trustworthiness in mechanics and auto maintenance! There a none left !!!! Do NOT SEND ANYONE HERE THAT DOES NOT UNDERSTAND THE GRIFT !

It s a broadway show while they change your oil! They call out what they are doing with a double check system in an entertaining way. Had a bad experience with an oil change previously so gave them and try and super glad I did!

Fast eventho there was a line. The staff was extremely friendly & knowledgeable. Huge difference in today's visit since it changed hands than my previous visits. Much more professional & much quicker. Highly recommend & will definitely return.

I visit this place every 3 months or more. I love that I don't have to drag my two 5 year olds out of the car every time just to get my oil change. Once you are in, they finish up pretty quickly. I also love that they check other things to let me know what needs immediate attention and what I should consider having done soon. They don't try to tell me that everything on my car needs to be fixed and they make me feel like a valued customer. Even though it use to be a little faster before Valvoline bought out Fastway, I'm sure it is something as simple as new procedure with the new company, and as I said they are still the fastest in town, which is always helpful with my busy schedule.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

Today I went to Valvoline on S. Lafayette St. in Shelby to have my car inspected. The only thing he did was ask for the registration and told me it was 13.60 and I was ready to go. THEY DID NOT CHECK ANYTHING ON MY CAR EXCEPT LIGHTS AND HORN AND I HAD TO ASK FOR THAT. I WAS BOTHERED BY IT AND I CALLED THE DMV IN RALEIGH. I was told they were supposed to check everything on the list. I drove back up there and had them check everything on my car. There was a light out where my tag is and one of my tires was bad. That was POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. WASTING GAS WHEN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE CORRECTLY THE FIRST TIME. PATHETIC!!!!! WHEN IT WAS FASTWAY OIL CHANGE THEY CHECKED EVERYTHING AT INSPECTION. I KNOW THAT ISSUING AN INSPECTION PAPER WITH 'PASSED' ON IT WAS NOT RIGHT WHEN NOTHING WAS CHECKED. THE GUY SAID HE CHECKED EVERYTHING AND THAT WAS A RIDICULOUS UNTRUTH. LAST TRIP TO VALVOLINE.
