Worst customer service I ve ever had . Went there today. To get tires and an alignment on my wife s car after 1 and 1/2 they had the tires done and then was told they couldn t do the alignment the wheels were to big they are stock 20 s . When the tech brought the car around I check it out and the rim had a chip in it I went back in to speak with the service person was told I had to speak to the owner Bob . The chip wasn t there when I brought it in and then he blamed me for the chip and then threw his hands in the air and said it was free . They left all the old wheel weight stickers on there and greasy hand print on her door I paid the bill. He never said sorry or tried to make it right I will never take any of my vehicles there again if I could give no stars I would

First met Bob at the old J&E Sales in 1990 when I was new to town and he worked on my Mercedes 280. Later purchased a 300TD from him. Moved away from Shelby to Coastal VA 30 years ago but bought 2 more cars from him and referred to him for a couple more. Called him yesterday after about 20 years asking him to let me ship him a car for rehab (honorably deferred) and it was just like the last time we worked together.So what is the point? I would have happily shipped my vehicle nearly 400 miles to have it cared for by Shelby Automotive.In a business full of celebrities, geniuses, and experts, to me what matters is quite simple; A history of competence, stability, and win-win business practices.Shelby Automotive is the GEM of the Shelby area and should be the go-to for people who want and/or own excellent vehicles and want them to stay that way.

I just wanna say how awesome Bob is! My daughter was stranded in North Carolina with a battery issue, we had it towed and they had it fixed and out the door within two days!! The service is fantastic and they also did a complete inspection with an oil change, I simply cannot say enough about this place and I know that my daughter will never take her car anywhere else!! Thanks again!!

I am from out of town and called with an urgent request to get my car and auxiliary batteries replaced. They slotted me in quickly, called with updates, and were able to get the car back to me within 24hrs even when they had to special order the parts. Greatly appreciative of how friendly the staff was and their accommodation!

Great experience!! They serviced my BMW 320i they also let me kno I needed a new battery!! I was wondering why my car was stalling to start but that was the problem!! They replaced it and my alternator belt had a crack and that was replaced also!! Now I can tell the difference when my car cranks and it s running perfect!! Excellent service, customer service and pricing was very affordable. I had my AC compressor replaced in my vehicle and it took one day to repair. Their pricing easily beat the dealership for same service. I am going to use Shelby Automotive for my service needs moving forward.

It's always a great experience, when I moved back from Charlotte I needed someone that could do my maintenance that I felt was trust worthy and reliable, from day one Bob and his staff met my expectations, and beyond,, they are always friendly and courtesy, at times I needed a loaner andy they had one available for me to use I have recommended them when. Always grateful for the friendliness and honesty of this place. It sometimes costs a bit more, but you get what you pay for and that is a car that is repaired properly and everything helpfully identified so that you are not surprised by things. I bring my BMW to Bob as the other garages are not sensitive with fancier cars with sophisticated electronics. These guys know my car and keep it in good shape. Couldn't ask for better service. Sometimes women get taken advantage of concerning car repairs but Shelby Automotive is different. I was comfortable while i waited and the issue was taken care of. The staff is always courteous and very knowledgeable. Nice waiting room area with refreshments, computer work station, and TV. Automotive staff works in a timely manner. And of course Bob does an outstanding job of staying on top of everything.

I was a first time customer when I pulled into the parking lot. I will be bringing all of my vehicles to Shelby Automotive from here on out. The initial presentation of this business is fantastic. The parking is clean, organized and the landscaping reflects that of care. As soon as you walk in you're greeted by not only the sweetest and most professional young lady named Leah but she knows her stuff too. The techs they are extremely knowledgeable, especially on higher end vehicles and they pointed me in the right direction to get my vehicle in tip top shape. They achieved this in a manner that is unlike other places I've been, I didn't feel pressured or hustled into spending unnecessary money. Kudos to you guys. They replaced my starter during my first trip and my alternator after it started giving issues a few months later both trips were very quick and easy and repairs were done within a day of them receiving the parts. Very happy with the service!

INCREDIBLE!!!! AMAZING!!! PROFESSIONAL!!!I'm going to be completely up front and honest Bob went ABOVE & BEYOND our expectations.Looked them up online first name to pop up they were able to get us in the very next day for URGENT A.C repair with these 90�-100� temps. Provided some of the best service possible, considering how small this town is, not in a bad way it's nice and quiet here . We moved here from Charlotte we had not idea we would be so lucky to find such a PROFESSIONAL our here. Not only did Shelby Automotive do our repairs, they also provided a loaner car as well. So tell me how many repar shops even in big city's do that(unless it's a dealership & under warranty) Impressed beyond belief. Easy access, extremely professional & friendly. I came in to shelby automotive without letting them know beforehand before work, since I was working in the area and read good things about the place. I heard they had loaner cars so it was perfect, however since I didn't make an appointment they didn't have a loaner car available but they were very accommodating and drove me to and from work. They are very knowledgeable and the staff has a great sense of humor. They had my car fixed and ready to go in a matter of hours, elsewhere it would've taken a week just to order the part, this was honestly the best experience I've ever had at an automotive place and I highly recommend Shelby automotive.

Great place to take the Mini for maintenance, service, or repair. I d say I value quality of work over low prices generally, but Shelby Automotive (formerly J & E Sales) has it all. I ve never had an issue with the quality, and they consistently beat competitors prices. It s so nice to have them so close to home (here in Shelby, NC). Very friendly atmosphere, and I ve always felt welcome and appreciated.
