I've been to multiple different tires places in Shelby and Kings Mountain. Today is the first day I've been to Mavis and I definitely will be back. They got me in and out really quick for two tires. Rafael is who helped me figure out the tires and also talked to me about what I needed done. I don't know much about cars but he explained to me why I need them and what it would help. I was surprised because normally Mr.tire and other places would say I need an oil change even if I just recently got one. If you're looking for a place to get new tires done I recommend Mavis Tires. Not because the price but for the people that work there. They made going to get tires less confusing.

Absolutely the best place to go. They find ways to cut some of the cost and they are so very friendly. Waiting in their waiting room with my 3 year old is not a problem because they have so many toys to keep her occupied. My favorite place to go for oil changes and tires!

I always have a great experience here. They are also the only tire and brake shop open on Sunday in the Shelby area. Even if I think I may have an issue with my car, they will always check it out, even if it is just me being neurotic. They are honest with any car issues I may have and never over inflate the price or sell services you don't need. I highly recommend them.the staff is amazing!

Rafael helped me through the process of getting my brake pads, rotors, and basically a whole mess of my creation fixed and I couldn t ask for better customer service and someone who is willing to break down the prices, why they re that way, what they will be doing, and basically held my metaphorical hand to explain something to me that makes me feel more confident reaching out for work next time and they had me in and out in one day, no issues, no fuss. Great atmosphere, great people, and great work. Now my car doesn t sound like it needs the world s biggest can of WD40. Thanks!!!!

Stopped in today to get a sensor fixed on my tire. Mr. Neely was great. His staff is awesome. Mom only been here for only 20 minutes and now I m on my way. Come shop at Mavis and Shelby.

These guys are great! I first went to them because Saturday hours are a plus, but they were also the first shop to get the oil change interval right for my car; I noticed immediately and was impressed (I m3k miles instead of the usual 5k). I took my car back for the tire rotation that was due (tires bought at another shop in Shelby that also starts with an M) and was again really happy with how fast and friendly everyone was. Definitely a reliable shop for maintenance issues and weekend hours are a huge, huge big deal. Thanks!

Strongly suggest going to mavis for your tire needs and requesting Bradley as your tech.I had a last minute cancellation for my tires to be done some where else, made one phone call and drove 5 min up the road to mavis and Neely and Bradley and another gentleman got me mounted/balanced/alignment and outta there in no time. For great quality work, decent prices, experienced techs go visit mavis and ask for Bradley!Ps: waiting area could use a drink/snack machine. Only complaint!

Took my car here for a leak I had in one of tires, the staff was extremely helpful and quick and figuring out what the issue was. I was in and out within 30 minutes. Would definitely recommend for people to come visit this shop. I will be back for my needs.

Hit a large pot hole which shook my Lexus RX350. Went to Mavis Tire & Brake and asked them to examine my front right tire, tire rod, and axle. They put my car on the hydraulic lift, examined it, and gave the OK. I offered to pay them for their services, but they declined. Grateful for their honesty and customer service, particularly given my car is registered in Illinois.

I had a flat tire this morning and called around to see who had the size needed in stock. Mavis had them and was open at 8.I had a medical appointment and had to leave my car and the front desk person was kind enough to drop me off. When I got back, I had to wait a short time and it was done. Great communication and caring people.

Mavis saved my world!! I got the pleasure of dealing with Mr. Neely, kind understanding compassionate worker. He was able to calm me down, give me a workable option. They are the best in Shelby for pricing and flexible pay option. Almost 300 less then competitor! I am truly blessed to have this business handle my cars needs! I will forever be a customer!!

I have been to Mavis several times now and have had positive experiences each time. They aren't pushy when it comes to services and they let you know the prices up front. The shop manager is always friendly and the technicians are competent. The location is convenient as well.
