McNeelys Store and Rental is one of the closer stores that carrys hardware items. The staff is always pleasant and helpful here. I don't often go for big items, but Ill stop here on my way toward Asheville to check first. The store is always well stocked with products and I have always found what I need, unlike some of the larger big box hardware stores.

This place has all the things you need. Bought 2 shirts. Staff were friendly and helpful. Looked like a very interesting store, beyond the average Ace Hardware.

Awesome store! If you want a purchasing experience, this is the place! It's like taking a step back in time to when customers are appreciated and most products you may need can be found in this tiny, small town, family owned store.

This is a great store, multiple variety of hardware items and equipments.. Awesome customer service especially from Caiti, she made our experience there seamless and that is why I'll always recommend this location. 1 stop shop for everything in Sapphire

Ace hardware's are generally well stocked and this one is no exception. I had a wiring project and was disappointed that they were out of, or didn't carry a few common items. I understand they can't carry everything and stock is also more function of what people in the area buy. So I'm not complaining.

Super selection and staff here. A great place to pick up what you need to avoid a long drive into town when in the toxaway, sapphire, cashiers area. Very convenient.

Very friendly and helpful. Love these guys. They have most of what you need without having to leave the mountain. Staff is very good about helping answer questions and explain stuff if you are confused.

It's a great local hardware store.However...We walked in and stopped at the customer service/cashier and asked if they carried flag poles.The answer - we have them for American flags.What?!?

Stopped in to look around. Love that they have all the unusual and unique items that you can't find in the big box stores. Love to support small town businesses.

Great service from the employees and a clean organized store. Some things are little pricey but I like to support our local merchant's and better than driving down the mountain.

You have to love a hardware store way out in the middle of nowhere that has a great stock and great staff. Will especially was a huge help!

They have a god selection of what you might need. There is always someone to help you find what you need or will offer advice. A great place to go.
