Fantastic shop. Worked with USAA to get my vehicle in and out in a week! Repaired my front bumper, passenger side headlight, windshield, front right fender and door from an accident in no time! Nick was an absolute professional, and did an amazing job repairing the frame. The painter Brian did an absolutely phenomenal job as well! It s worth every penny, especially since the price was very reasonable compared to other shops. Never getting work done anywhere else!

My experience was not pleasant with getting my bumper repaired and a mechanical issue. No follow up calls on the completion time frame. When I called to check the status, I was given two dates. Once my car was finally finished.... there were additional scratches and excess paint which I had to point out. They did note that they would correct the issue. Please note that I paid in full that day (all cost was out of pocket) and I am paying for a rental car... I expressed this additional cost that this mistake was costing me. My car was ready two days later. My bumper was not seated properly and when I made reference to this, someone made light of the situation. One tech politely fixed the issue without hesitation. There was trash left in my car (this was made light of, like this wasn't an issue), someone was in my passenger seat as there was dirt and footprints (I have light interior), radio station change and something was spilled in my car. Lastly there was dirt and debris in my trunk. Seems that they were using my car. I paid for the mechanical issue to be fixed and my car is still making noise in the rear. And there was areas of missing paint on my bumper.I express my concerns via email. I was contacted two days later, which I missed the call. When I called back, I left a message with someone in the office to have Miss Denise give return my call. It has been 2-3 weeks now with no return call.I would not recommend this company only due to the way they treat people and their property.Service: Painting

I never received updates on my vehicle with the exception of 1 text message. Throughout the 5 weeks I had it being serviced. I work in customer service and this honestly is unacceptable.Details:I dropped off my vehicle at the cary car star location. When I droped of the vechile I asked for calls or text updates regularly. I didn't care how long my car was being serviced, I just wanted updates because I had to update enterprise on how long I needed a rental. 1 week after drop off I called the cary location and was told my vehicle was being transferred to Sandford. I'm not from NC so I asked where that was, the guy I talked to was really short with the explanation and didn't give me many details. The guy I talked to wasn't the receptionist I forget what position they held.I said okay and waited a week.Called the same location (cary) back a week later and the front desk receptionist was extremely nice, per usual. She emailed me the Sandford contact details because I was not given that information prior.I called the Sandford location and they were always nice but only texted me 1x about an update. They never could give me a set date on when my vechile could be done and never followed up if they stated they would call back with more details. This week my vechile was transferred back to cary but I didn't receive a call from either location on anything.I called the Sandford location and they basically brushed off my concerns. I talked to the front desk receptionist at the cary location and she took my concerns seriously. She also stated she appreciated the feedback.I'm honestly disappointed overall. It was a very inconvenient experience. Everyone was nice with the exception of guy I was transferred too, the first time, I called the cary location after the initial drop off.

Very disappointed with the level of customer service received compared to the previous reviews I ve seen.Back in mid February my stolen car was recovered with damages. I brought my car here to be assessed. After they sent pictures to my insurance damages was assessed at roughly 4000. I had until April 4 to bring the vehicle in.Beginning of April on a Monday I drop my car back off and I decided to forgo some of the repairs and keep money from insurance. I was still getting about 1000-1500 worth of repairs done off the estimate.A previous shop told me my sway bar links was damaged as well but insurance wanted me to bring it here. The manager at the time agreed to get the repairs done and supplement done. He said he would call me back later that week.On that Friday I called back because I haven t heard back. The old manager got fired and was replaced by a new manager is what I was told. The new manager told me he could not find the file or records of insurance info or anything. He told me to come back to sign a form and he would get back in contact with my insurance.I call back today the next Tuesday for another follow up. The new manager told me he called his area manager. He told me the area manager said it was against the law to get some of the work done but not all of it and still get a supplement done on other damaged items. This was a blatant lie according to my insurance company. FYI these items were missed because they forgot to send in the pic for it on the initial go and lost my files.After having my car for over a week with poor communication from their end they tell me they will decline to work on the vehicle which after the supplement would ve brought the work I wanted done to over 2000 in total. I am now stuck finding another shop after not having my car for a week. Again. I am very disappointed. They did a fantastic job and went the extra mile to get it back to me in a timely manner on a short week because of a holiday weekend. Everyone from office to shop people were as nice and professional as could be. BUT --------They also did a windshield replacement for me on a work van. The gasket dry rotted in under 2 years around the windshield and now they claim they have no record of ever doing it! I would have paid for them to redo the gasket. They took my phone number then never contacted me. Its been months now. Changed review from 5 to 1 star. Be careful with these people. I guess keeping a customer satisfied isn't too important to them.Service: Body & Trim

I needed a replacement body part and repaint - I had gotten a quote from another shop in the area - with a LONG turnaround time and a HIGHER PRICE than it should be (I assume that was the "big name" markup.) I hopped on the internet and found Cameron's. And, despite mixed reviews - I headed over - as I prefer to make up my own mind.I dropped in - rather than make an appointment (other places were telling me 2 weeks just to take a look at the problem.) The team there took a look, gave me an estimate on the spot - (significantly less expensive than the "big name" place) - and - went so far as to start ordering parts right in front of me - They promised they'd be ready in a week.Well - they called me the day before my appointment to tell me they were ready early, and if I wanted to bring my car by at lunch they would be able to swap out body panels and have it ready in no time. Needless to say, I jumped at the opportunity.In less than 2 hours I was back home with a smile on my face - a perfect paint match - and an experience that left me wanting to remind everyone - give new owners and managers a break - they are learning a new shop - new system - meeting new people - and likely will have a couple hiccups along the way.The team I met were all honest, good, and thoughtful men and women. They are very talented professionals - this shop may be a Carstar shop but they are LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED - they are everyone's neighbors - and they work hard to make sure every customer is happy. I highly recommend them and will go back if I need any other sort of body work.Service: Body & Trim

I haven't had to deal with a body shop in many years (thankfully) but yesterday I had an issue and not only did they tell me to come up there right away, but they fixed it and didn't even charge me. **Updated review**Do not recommend coming here anymore as the old manager and painter moved on to another shop. The new manager is absolutely terrible. YOU have to call for updates as they say they'll call you with an update but never actually do. Was told a part would take three days to paint, skip forward to three weeks later and YOU have to call for an update just to hear that they don't have the paint code in the system anymore and haven't even touched the part. Not only that but they lost keys to the vehicle and were trying to replace the ignition assembly without getting approval. Then miraculously found the keys after replacements were ordered. When you speak to the manager and want an update on the part that's being painted and he's cussing about the painter (or whoever) not getting stuff done, shows just how professional he is. Will definitely be going to the location that the outstanding, professional past employees moved to. Sorry Cameron's but after your recent employee changes, we cannot support your business anymore.**Review from 2 years ago**We have used Cameron's Body Shop now twice and have always been amazed at how well everything looks when they're finished. Was trying to get a estimate on how much it will cost to paint my replacement bumper however since the bumper didn't come from them they would not paint it basically they wont take part's that they didn't order to charge more but lady on phone was nice

My brand new car had 100 miles on it when a rock hit the passenger window and cracked it. Called Cameron's and they were friendly, professional and got us in to have the window replaced right away. Quality work at a reasonable price. HIGHLY recommend this body shop!!

Quality body work at reasonable cost; good work and fast. This is my go-to body shop for collision and paint/metal/dent repairs.When we hit a deer basically all body panels forward of the windshield needed replaced ($8000 damage). The car was fixed quickly and was returned detailed and looked like new. Everything worked, gaps were correct and nothing needed to be re-done or adjusted.I also backed my pickup into something and cracked the tail light and had a dent/scrape up the fender. Again, in a few days it looked like new like nothing ever happened. The cost was also lower than 2 other estimates.If you have an accident or need dent and paint work this should be your first call. They're also on the State Farm preferred shop list (rightfully so).

Great work done to fix a sizable dent on the front end of my Nissan Versa. Looked good as new. Pricing was good/right for the market for parts and labor and staff approached everything clearly and honestly from the estimate to the final payment.

The staff is friendly and professional. As a female you always feel that a body shop is out to rip you off.. NOT at Camerons! The work was done quickly and at a reasonable price. I will definitely recommend them for towing, repairs small or cosmetic!

Cameron's has done auto body work for us several times over more than a decade. I've found their work to be of consistently high quality, at reasonable cost. And they're honest, a place you can confidently recommend to others, knowing they'll be treated right.

SCAM ARTISTS!!Due to an unfortunate accident from a young driver, vehicle had to be towed to a shop as it would not start. These crooks were in queue to be towed to next. Kellum s claims on the phone to only tow for Cameron s and takes it here. In spite of having a mechanic shop of their own.Car towed Saturday and by Monday we get a call wanting to make a $1700 claim on our insurance, but it could be more When asked would it start we were told it had not been put on the rack yet. Excuse me?! Yet, you already want $1700?!Once we decide to get it to reputable mechanic we are gouged for the state maximum allowable rates for a 5 mile tow and 2 days of storage. $330!! A tow that would normally be a third as much.If you want to know why our insurance rates are so high, look no further than these scumbags!!

They said 1 week to fix my Yukon after hitting a deer. 1 week they did nothing because their paint guy was out sick. 4 weeks they had my truck and they didn't fix it right. Needless to say my insurance company dropped them as their auto body shop. I will never ever use them or suggest them to anyone.
