I always go to thie Sanford Carquest because they had friendly staff and they knew their products. I came in yesterday and was waited on by a dark haired lady. She was anything but friendly and almost no help and we had the pull information out of her. She had an attitude look on her face like we were bothering her and practiced very poor customer service. We were pleasant to her even though I wanted to tell her what I though of an attempt at customer service. I will shop somewhere else now.

I had a battery issue that I needed to check to see if the battery was any good. The gentleman that helped me was very knowledgeable about batteries and automotive electrical charging systems. He was very helpful.

Shortly after arriving in Sanford I needed a battery replacement on an older truck. The lady at the service desk was knowledgeable about what I needed and provided complete installation for me - even in the rain!She took care of disposal of the old battery and installation of the new one very quickly. No appointment needed and I was there less than 30 minutes, driving home with a brand new battery.Several customers came in not wearing masks and there was no enforcement of mask rules. Would have appreciated seeing someone ask them to put on a mask before entering the store. There were social distancing stickers on the floor and signage up.

Carquest is stocking many semi truck parts! There are no big trucks parts stores in the Sanford area,so it s nice to have a place to get routine parts for my kenworth truck. Staff is pretty friendly but they definitely know there stuff!

AVOID buying from here, they are going to RIP YOU OFF. Worst customer service we have received; you ask for the most economic supplies and they will sell you the most expensive ones, saying that's the most economical you can find, and when you talk the next day with a different employee they tell you they do have more economical supplies. One day they give you the total for supplies and when you go the next day if it will be completely a different amount of money, a crazy change in the price. I will give them 0 stars but the lowest I can go is 1.

Went in for one trunk lift for my niece s car and to return some brakes I didn t need. The guy was so condescending and arrogant. He automatically upsold me to two lifts because I was returning something and whined about still owing me two dollars and some change. When I questioned him about the cost, he repeated he was still giving me money back...like he was doing me a favor giving me my own money back. When I pointed out that I had said I only needed one lift, not two, he became sarcastic and complained that he d then have to give me more of a refund. I couldn t take his attitude anymore so just got a full refund and will buy the lift anywhere other than Carquest. Especially the Sanford, NC store! Unbelievable!

NC is not known for there customer serves, but this place takes the cake. This was the worst service I have ever gotten in this state. First I call to see if they carry texter spray. I was told no. Then I go there to see this other product of "splatter paint" to see if it will work. The lady when I first walked in asked me what I was looking for I told her she had no clue what I was talking about and said the paint is back there and kinda nudged in the direction. After going up and down a couple aisles I found the paint. And look there is the texter paint i was looking for in the first place. But I cant find the splatter paint to see the consistency of it. After finding some one to help me I understood it was a manager he looked in the computer and said they don't have any. Wait I just called and was told on the phone you did, now i am here and you don't. OK he said the other store has some in clear and walks away. What other store? I don't know where he was talking about. and i was left at the counter alone. Stay clear people.

The best place to go for the number 1..best products to put on vichles...my dad always got parts from there and I been going to..top of the line...very nice person always make sure your taking care of....that is the only place I go for parts to put on my vichles!!!!..

Carquest Auto Parts of Sanford North Carolina is top notch. This place doesn't necessarily have the box store feel and the employees are very knowledgeable and always willing to help!

The girl who works there has a bad attitude. I went in to see if my battery was faulting out and the way she responded to my questions was pretty rude. Will never go there again.

Customer service at this locaton is very poor, I waited in line to check out and no one greeted me an employee even walk by and he did not said a word to me as I was the only customer in the store. Definitely not going back to this store.
