I ve been taking my cars here for years. They are honest, helpful, and always keep me safe on the road. I highly recommend them, especially to women who are worried about being scammed over by a mechanic. I always get honest work for a fair price and don t feel pressured or scammed ever. These are great folks. Definitely recommend.

Donnie at blacks tire and auto is the MAN he will do absolutely anything in his power to make sure you get quality work done at a fair price and as quickly as you can possibly get the work done ! He has helped me out countless times through the years with everything under the son and has always been amazing !

I appreciate Black Tire & Auto Service with taking care of me without an appointment per a walk-in service. I dropped off my vehicle at 0730 and they had it completed within a reasonable time. I noticed that their appointment system works better when using a computer. Thanks for everything. I ll be back again.

The front desk technician was extremely knowledgeable about tires. He helped me select the right ones for my needs. I did not have an appointment however they managed me in and completed all work in a timely manner. My hats off to Jonathan Key. Thanks for your help.

Bought new tires almost a year ago, great service. Added the road hazard coverage and had to use it. They were unable to get the same tire due to supply chain issues. Replacement tire was more but they covered it. Great place to use and do business with. 5 star service every time!

John, Chad, Donnie, Patrick and the whole crew at Blacks Tire & Auto off Wicker St in Sanford are extremely trustworthy and what you might call "good ol boys" who do you right - every time. I've bought many tires from this store, oil changes, minor electrical installations, starters replaced, front axle work, muffler work, etc. I trust these guys for ALL my mechanical needs and I know I'll be treated fairly and with common sense. Special shout out to John for this most recent visit!

My son and his wife were leaving for work in the afternoon when they discovered their car s battery was not starting the car. One call to Black s Tire here in Sanford and they had a service man call to reassure he was on the way. His word was true; they were quickly on the way to work. Thanks very much, Black s Auto.

Truckers Be Cautious! Had a 1/4 inch sheet metal screw stuck in a new virgin trailer tire. Screw was dead center of the outside tread groove. Tire tech removed wheel from trailer and took a photo of the screw with his phone. He walked to the front desk, came back and told me it was to close to the side wall for repair. Front desk said I would have to buy a new tire! I knew better .I told them to bolt the wheel back on. I went to another tire shop and had a $2.00 patch placed in tire! $22.00 later I was rolling. BTS did not charge me for removal and reinstalling wheel. They dang sure would have sold me a new tire, if I had let them ..

Very happy with the service I received.! I had a tire blow out while driving. I used my plug kit to repair and drive to the store. I purchased 2 new tires and a tire rotation. In & out in 60 minutes!! Thanks!!

If I can give more stars I would they was extremely helpful and nice had to leave my car there but I don t have any family or friends who live here and they was nice enough to drop me off and pick me up the following day. I didn t even spend a arm and a leg, great service highly recommended would go back again.

The guys at Black s Tire on Wicker Street in Sanford, NC are professional and friendly. They explain the length of the service required so you will know whether to wait in store or come back later to pick up your car. I recommend this business for tires and service. Very professional, and family friendly, I remember back in the day when this business was Perry Brothers, and I worked for Riley Paving Co, I was sent with my truck to have tires replaced, and I made it my choice to do business with the company as a customer, I've had excellent service down through the years, keep up the good work

On 01/26/24, I blow my tire in Sanford NC (1 South). I had to get a tow to the nearest tire shop. Since it was my first time ever in Sanford; I trusted the tow c'pany to take my car n I to the best place for service . We arrived @ Black's tire (Wicker St). I explained to the front work that what happen on the hwy ; I sat down n waited while they accessed my car. One of the front desk workers came back to seating area to let me know my car was worse then expected n that for my safety they could not just repair my tire. So he proceeded to show me the extra damage n let me know that my car wasn't fit to drive safely until these repairs were corrected.... As a human living in these times I was upset n realized I am about to spend a sh!t load of . I took a moment n then asked for the estimate of cost.It was in the upper $700's, close to $800. I was willing to pay whatever to get the work done that day because I had to pick my kiddos up from school (in a total different area an 1 hr away). The time was about 2:40 pm/2:55 pm; the worker at the desk said I could pay but since it's close to the end of the working day they wouldn't be able to get to my car that same day. He explained about ordering the part it needed n labor alone would take 2 1/2 to 3 hrs n they didn't have enough time. Pleaded with the worker to have a heart n @ least try for the amt of money I'm paying.... He declined without any emotion or sympathy for my situation. I would not be able to get my children from school n I would be stuck in a town I barely know my way around by myself until Monday (mind you this happened Friday afternoon). He even had the nerve to direct me down to a rent-a-car place to get a vehicle, like I'm rolling in all this money to spend. I said to him after that comment "if I had money to spend like that my car wouldn't be having these type of issues. I was slowly working on my vehicle, knew it wasn't perfect but this man made it seem like I was driving a death trap on the road. Mind u again, I'm willing to pay for all repairs to get back on the road the same day. Front desk still adamant on it not being able to be done today. I then say ok is there somewhere else I can go. He stated that I can have it rowed somewhere else but they could not do any work yo my car. I couldn't even get a new tire put on my rim. So I called the towing place that brought me here. I told them the situation n they called the tire place to find out what the problem was. At this point the desk clerk kept Shoving a clipboard board in my face to sign a paper stating my vehicle is unsafe to drive w/o these repairs (that I was so willing to pay for but refuse to fix the sameday). So I refused to sign until I got ready n felt that my situation is going to be properly dealt with. I reached back out to the towing c'pany n they agreed to bring me to them n examine my car (diagnostic) to see the repairs it needs. After that info. I signed his bullsh!t paperwork n when the tow arrived; got away from that place as quick as possible. To make a long story short @ the tow place (Paradise Towing), they did everything by the book. I not only got all I needed fixed on the vehicle , it was $200. Cheaper n they had a tire for my car, and they don't even specialize in tires. They as was to order parts and fixed it within hrs. I do believe I left there right @ 5pm. So not only did I arrive later the work needed on my vehicle got done, Thank u n God bless u Dan n Paradise Towing for be honest n Giving great cx service. As far as black tires, keep letting these people lie n take ur hard earn money for there gain.... Pickett against Black tires, Sanford NC, there making ur town look bad.

I purchased tires for my car here . These guys are very knowledgeable and helpful. The mechanic that worked on my stinger did the job quickly efficiently and he was so very nice . I appreciate being able to take my car somewhere I can feel at ease . I took itto Atlantic Tire and they put my front tires on the back etc.. I thought they knew stingers have different size tire on the front and back . When they changed my oil they cross threaded the bolt . Now I have to change my oil from the top of my car . So when I say I m grateful for Blacks tire being knowledgeable I really am !! Ha! Ha!

We have been using Blacks Tire & Auto in Sanford for many years now. We wouldn t go anywhere else. Their customer service is exceptional (even helping to make sure we receive the best prices possible). We highly recommend them.

I m quite impressed by my service. They quoted a price, did the work and found some other issues and repaired them at no cost. They explained what needed to be done and offered to show me why. They gave me a day and time the work would be done and accomplished it. Because of going above and beyond I will return for my next repair.

Always satisfied. Went for an oil change and inspection. Knowledge from the mechanics is awesome. Discovered during the inspection that new wipers needed to be installed. Rear wiper mysteriously disappeared. They replaced free of charge. I have taken my car to them since moving to NC 4 years ago and will continue. Very satisfied customer!!!

John was the appointment manager I arranged my service through and it is a 35 minute drive from my home but well worth it. This isn t a corner oil and lube quick service with temp employees. They have certified skilled mechanics that changed the oil and preformed a review of my 10 yr old impalas condition and what I may need in the near future. They are a solid neighborhood staple that has earned my trust and I m happy I was referred to them

Stopped this morning requesting a vehicle inspection. I had no appointment and my inspection was conducted in a very short time. I have done a great deal of business with this firm for years and they are consistently honest, accurate, comprehensive and very fairly priced. I now take all my vehicle maintenance needs to Black s.

----Picture of a silver Nissan truck that I have been working on for a while, and recently had a few times to drive it to work.----As of Friday the 15th of April 2022 had a chance to work on a C6 Corvette that needed tires, and wanted to show how to lift a Corvette at the frame holes.----Was great experience here in 2019 on Main Street location.---- Friendly people at both locations,who are willing to help with any automobile question when technicians are not too busy, and service writers who can do the same. Also service big rigs as for as tires, but not sure right now what other services they do for big trucks at the Wicker Street location. Nevertheless, I will be starting tomorrow the 27th of August 2021, and I am so anxious to get back to work I hope not to mess up my first days there.P.S. Still not sure if I have to take care of my pops when if he gets released from the hospital, or have him placed so I can start to have a life that I have been missing for so long.
