They painted the hardtop of my BMW M Roadster so as to match the 26 year old body paint. The color is spot on and the finish is smooth and free of scratches and swirls.Awesome job.

Was beyond impressed with Sudden Impact!Honestly, the way each department/team member went above and BEYOND to ensure customer satisfaction is unheard of in todays world. I cannot even express how happy I am!I would have NEVER expected to have recieved my SUV back even cleaner than it was when I dropped it off! I mean, I can only imagine what they found in there with having kids !OH-- AND-- You don't get ripped off, the transparency and openess to answer questions is beyond exceptional!!!Thank you Sudden Impact crew for making us feel as if we are a part of the family!!!

Dropped my work vehicle off for an estimate today on a cracked bumper due to be hit by another vehicle. I haven t even had any work done yet or here before, but I told a lot of people that the environment was refreshing and I have a sense of relief knowing that it s in the hands of this fine establishment!! From the moment I walked in, I was treated with the utmost respect and dignity from everyone. It was a pleasure to meet a few of the people here and to be treated as if I was a loyal customer for many years! Fingers crossed, I don t have to worry about a damaged vehicle anymore, but if the unfortunate situation arises, then I know exactly who I am going to!! You have a customer for life now, and I will make sure to tell anyone that Sudden Impact is the only place my vehicles from now on for any damage! Thank you all again for your hospitality and respect for your customers! Truly a great business that deserves any and all praises!

Kristen always takes care of us. Her customer service is spot on. Took our truck in to have the water pump replaced, a week later it was leaking (due to a faulty part). She was able to get us back in the same day.

Was told my door trim would be reattached with 2 sided tape and clips replaced.Got home to find my door trim had been flapping in the wind. Two sided tape was put on , clips were not replaced. Will not waste my money or time here again.Response: First of all given that half the trim was still attached it would be physically impossible for the door molding to touch the fender. At no point did it get longer or stretch.Two: You pointed out those clips to me when you stated how you were going to repair it.Maybe someone employed there should look over work before it leaves. When I can lift a piece of trim with my finger it is not attached and a potential liability. Quite frankly if you couldn t do it right or simply didn t want to you should have said so to begin with. The photo shows half of my hand behind the trim.

I would highly recommend this shop for any repairs your vehicle needs. I've had two repairs done here - The first repair was fixing the discolored ugly door trim from my truck. They were able to remove the door trim on my 2011 Sierra 1500 and make all of the doors look brand new. I am very impressed with their attention to detail. Brian and the rest of the staff make you feel comfortable with the repair process by taking the time to examine your vehicle and explaining exactly what needs to be fixed and how they do it. My second repair was when someone backed into my truck and smashed my chrome bumper back into my wheel well. When they quoted the work, I found their price to be very reasonable and I knew that the work would be done professionally by highly knowledgeable repair experts. The man who did my repair this time was Rob, and when it was finished he made sure everything looks right and lined up perfectly with the manufacturers specifications. You cant even tell the difference! Again, highly recommended.

Sudden Impact repaired our brand new custom sprinter that sustained tree damage. They were incredibly kind, hardworking, and.communicative. They worked overtime to repair in time sensitive circumstances. Thank you Will and everyone else for your hard work. Looks perfect. Massively over-charged for a complete failure on their part to perform a simple repair.(12 year experienced professional mechanic/fabricator here; have made this type of repair multiple times in the past, but lack the machine required at my current shop)No Initial estimate was given, which for a $1000+ invoice is highly illegal. My ready to pick up vehicle had multiple suspension bolts completely loose, wires cut, and I was charged for services that were never performed. My truck was in worse shape than it was when dropped off. Run, don t walk.

The quality of work to my car was excellent and I can t speak highly enough for the level of service and support. I had a terrible experience with the insurance company of the person who damaged my vehicle and I think most body shops would have told me to pay them direct or take my car someplace else, but Jackie and her team went to battle with the insurance company for me and in the end, I drove away a very satisfied and happy customer. It was a great experience meeting the folks at Sudden Impact. Very knowledgeable, friendly and ready to do business. I wrote this 1st part when I had the estimate done. I had a great time hanging out here while they worked on my car. They delivered the local paper. I also read about a famous moonshiner on cards attached to a mock-up of a still. They're waiting area is like a nice cozy coffee shop. Check it out you won't be disappointed.

I've read the reply from Sudden Impact and am updating my review so there is better understanding. To reiterate. Everything Sudden Impact has said is completely irrelevant because it doesn't anywhere talk about the issue. The work done on the vehicle wasn't the problem, it was the lack of communication on such an increase in price before the work was done, I cannot stress this enough."My Stepdad needed some truck work done and agreed to their estimate of 1900$ but it ended up being 3600$. My stepdad said the guy he was working with was a very nice guy and they did a wonderful job on his truck, but no one contacted him over that price difference -before- the work was done. So, when he went to pick up his truck there was a sticker shock of an extra 1700$. If other people choose to go to Sudden Impact, I just wanted to inform others of this so they can confirm with that business on prices before anything will be done to their car(s). Luckily my stepdad had the funds available at the moment to afford that surprise increase in price or he wouldn't have been able to get his truck that day."The entire price of all the work done was around 8600$ (Can't recall the exact number).In my original review I said the price increase was 4k more than my stepdad was told but it was actually 1.7k more, as you can read in my review. This was my misunderstanding (with my parents) of how things were explained to me and I'd like to apologize for that. However, it doesn't negate the original problem and that was not being told about such a price increase before the work was done.I'll up my review from 1 to 2 stars for Sudden Impacts quick response to my Google review (that I appreciate), even though the response doesn't explain the miscommunication, which is the entire point of my review.

If you re looking for honesty and integrity this seems to be the place. The office staff was incredibly friendly, as well as Brian, who was quick with our estimate. We were given the timeframe of a week but had my car back in 24 hours (a minor job in comparison but it means a lot that y all took care of it so quickly) Thank you, thank you, thank you. I cannot tell you how big a burden you took off our shoulders. Truly grateful for you all!Service: Body & Trim

We had one of those experiences that restores your soul and reenergizes you. We arrived in Salisbury, NC in our RV with a disastrous problem with our Tow car and no possible way to continue our trip without getting it fixed. To say the least we were desperate and at the mercy of anyone who could help us. We fully expected hemming and hawing, long delays and exorbitant prices. We contacted Sudden Impact Auto Body & Paint Shop business and from that point on they took charge and got us back on the road. We never heard anything but "we can do this, we will get you back on your way ASAP" from start to finish. And for a very fair price. This family owned and run business, Danny and Jackie Shaw and their daughter Kristin & son Brian, has by far the best customer attitude I have seen in a year of Sundays. Supportive, effective, high quality, extremely fair and they leave you with total confidence in the result. If you ever need anything in the way of auto repairs, trust them, they have earned it.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment

Very professional!!! Vehicle damaged by a deer. Clean office you can take your family to, rapid service with detailed inspection of damage.I always felt that they were looking out for my best interest, making sure repairs met the manufacturer s standards for safety, and having inspections by the manufacturer while it was being repaired. They worked with the insurance company to make sure additional damages found would be covered.Absolutely beautiful repair!!! Can t tell it was ever damaged. I would highly recommend Sudden Impact to anyone!!!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Sudden Impact is the real deal! How many times have we heard horror stories concerning shops that did sub-par work, shoddy craftsmanship or ripped the customer off? I'm am as impressed today as I was several years ago when I first used Sudden Impact for my repair/bodywork needs on my E-Class Mercedes. The facility is spotless, well maintained, neat, well run, waiting area feels very homie (free popcorn is a nice touch), and relaxing and EVERYONE is as nice, polite and as helpful as they can be. Brian Shaw manages the body shop and is as friendly, professional and knowledgible as they come. Brian left his company birthday party last Friday to address my concerns per my Mercedes. He was patient and listened to all of my concerns and set up an appointment for the following Tuesday. On Tuesday, Brian met me in the parking lot and told me he would have work completed by early afternoon. Sure enough, Sudden Impact call shortly after lunch to tell me the car was ready. I could not believe the quality of the repair and how good the car looked exceeding my every expectation. Equally impressive was the fact that due to the nature of the repair, there was NO-CHARGE!!! This is unheard of these days and just shows how honest, ethical and trustworthy these folks are. I highly recommend Sudden Impact for all your auto body and repair needs.Service: Body & Trim

Took 2004 Ram 2500 there for small bit of rust repair and to get bed liner material color matched to truck and used as trim on rocker panels and over fenders. They did an amazing job matching the color of bed liner spray to truck, and was very well done overall. Finished product looked immaculate. They are very friendly and easy to work with. This was my second time using Sudden Impact and I would definitely go back as well as recommend to others. Both times they ve done great work, been very nice and actually care about your vehicle.

My Jeep Wrangler had considerable frame and under body rust. Couldn t find anyone on the internet that did undercoating. Stopped by Sudden Impact on whim....sure enough they could do it! Gave me a quick and fair estimate. Dropped it off on a Thursday...they called me on Friday and said it was ready! Wow!!They did a fantastic job... and came in under the estimate! Highly professional, courteous staff and very prompt. I highly recommend these guys.

I had a paint chip on one of the front fenders of my car. I thought that I needed a paint job to correct the damage. When I arrived there they offered me the option of just fixing the damage. Thanks to them I didn't end up paying a bunch of money for correcting the very small damage of the front fender. I would say the people from this body shop they are very professional and they are focused on helping the customer on any possible way. I would recommend this body shop to anyone that needs a paint work on their car. They go above and beyond for the customer.When they finish the job on my car and they returned my keys I remembered that the battery on my car key was not working. I asked them where I could buy the battery or if they sell the battery. They took my keys, checked the battery and replace it and they didn't charge me for that.What else I could say? Well I'm looking forward to schedule another appointment because I have a small dent on my car and is fixable.

I love this place. They have the most amazing lobby you have ever seen in a body shop. It s like going back in time to the good old days. I had a chance to work with them briefly and they are the perfect family owned and operated business that you would want to entrust your vehicle to for all of your auto body repair needs. They take the utmost care with whatever needs and concerns you may have.

I was concerned about my bumper. Brian came out to look at the damage and actually told me NOT to spend excessive amounts of money to fix it. He compounded some of the paint right there for free and gave me reasonable/low cost options for repair. I was very impressed with their professionalism and that they didn t try to oversell me. I hope to never need extensive body repair for my vehicles, but if I do, I m using them!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I was in a pinch with my vehicle after dealing with insurance companies and needed somewhere to take my car after an incident.I'm very glad I decided to go to the Shaw's at Sudden Impact Collision.The last thing I needed was more stress and hassle. Instead of that however, I recieved courteous professionalism, timely and clear communication, and genuine hospitality throughout the entire process.Today, it's hard enough to find people with the character to get the job done right even if it's harder. Even more difficult to find customer service that will make you smile on a bad day.I found both those here and I didn't even make an appointment to let them know I was coming (which I certainly should have).If they are further away than most of the shops for you, let me encourage to drive the distance to their place. It's without a doubt, worth it.

Sent my car to Brian, was told they would take care of it. Started my rental for 30 days. Called the week before rental was up and said it would be a week. Called back and they said no not ready but before Christmas called back on 12/20/19, 5 days before Christmas to be told it s most likely going to be totaled. They never communicated with me. Each time I had to call to get answers. They never even inspected the car till the week before Christmas only to say it couldn t be repaired. They had it for 6 weeks!! Now my daughter is without a car and we could have already been looking for something else. Came recommended but I wouldn t use them and I don t recommend anyone else just for their lack of communication and just pure dishonesty.
