They did a good job with the Alternator replacement and oil change on my 2003 Toyota Camry. I waited for the car and the job was completed in 2 hours. They are also a AAA approved repair shop. The price was reasonable as well. Best quote for this area in Salisbury, NC

Highly recommend! Imagine being miles from home and your car is flashing engine lost power ! You know you have to stop. I was in Salisbury,NC. AAA recommended Rusher. I had no idea about the business but trusted AAA. I was treated like a long time customer. The owner,Tim, drove me to get a rental car-really helped me because the first placed had no cars for rent. My car was repaired quickly and at a responsible price. All of the employees were friendly and professional. I don t see how anyone could be disappointed with their service.

After realizing that I had a large bold in my tire after visiting family who live in the Salisbury area, I went to this business to have the tire repaired. I witnessed two of the employees sitting around the service counter and not working while my family sat in 90� heat for 40 minutes waiting for repair. The price for service was way overpriced and the customer service was horrible. I was also charged an extra .80 for using my debit card to pay for the patch work on my tire. When I expressed that I didn't think it was fair to pay extra charges on top of overpriced services the "manager" Matt became very rude and stated "Oh, well". I told him I would not return to this location, and he stated "my money was not needed as he held up his hands like "his father's" business was part of the queen's palace! He told me to leave and not return. He also indicated that the extra .80 was posted but did not offer to cancel the sale and allow me to pay cash for the repair. I have had many tires repaired in my life and to this day have NEVER paid more than $15.00 for patching a tire. When I looked back over the Repair Order, I was unable to see what the labor -vs- parts was for my service due to incorrect invoicing. My overall charge of $28.84 but my debit card was charged $29.70 because the business does not feel it is their responsibility to cover the use of debit cards in their business. I had to ask four times for his (and his father's) name before he yelled it across the parking lot and challenged me to call him in the morning!This "adult want-to-be" treated his father's business like a piece of property that he was entitled to without any regard or respect for the years of loyalty and support "his father's" customers. His actions resembled that of a child who has no idea the importance of customer service! He lacks the ability to visualize that without the customer, his father's business struggles to open.

Traveling on I85 my car broke down. AAA directed me to Rush Tire & Automotive. It was 4:45 PM and they were closing shop for the day. The receptionist at the shop and Tim were sympathetic to my plight and fixed the car. Instead of looking at spending the night with to kids in Salisbury I was back on the road in no time.

The lady that works there was excellent! She helped us find someone to tow us to her place then found the tires we needed. They took us in at the end of the day when everyone was wanting to go home on a busy Friday afternoon. Thank you Rusher Tire!

I highly recommend this business, they are honest people and not all in it for the money.they make you feel cared for and do the best by you. I went in today knowing I was gonna have to buy a new tire because I had a screw in my side wall, and the owner was like we can't patch it but will give you a spare and put in on free of charge. Thanks to these amazing people this is what makes the world go around. I'll forever come to this place for tires and other needs

Awesome service and great people. They always have a kind word, small parking area but so worth your time and money.. recommended by other parts stores for complete car repair and inspections are quick and reasonable. Highly recommend.

Would highly recommend Rusher Automotive! I was stuck trying to get back home to NJ, and they went out of their way to see that I was on the road as fast as possible. This place ordered an alternator and fixed the car in the same day. I appreciate the service, and especially their kindness! If in the area, see them for all your tire, inspections, and automotive needs. I 100% RECCOMEND!

Recently had my vehicle worked on here at Rusher Tire and Automotive and couldnt be more pleased with the results. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and went the extra mile to explain what was wrong with my vehicle and what needed to be fixed before any work was done. They fixed my vehicle in a timely manner and their prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is having issues with their vehicle.

I have unfortunately found myself in numerous situations where my lack of automotive knowledge has been leveraged in order to take advantage of me. However, I have found a trusted advisor with Rusher Tire. My family has been customers for years, but my recent experience has proved to be life changing. During our yearly inspection visit, the top quality technicians and Mr. Mike identified an issue with my car that without intervention could have led to a complete engine loss and potentially an accident. This issue had previously been dismissed by another service provider. Mr. Mike took the time to sit and talk with me and make sure I understood what to do next and the steps I needed to take. Because of the exemplary service at Rusher Tire, I am in the process of getting a new engine provided by my manufacture. Most importantly, my family and I remain safe. I will remain a loyal customer and I encourage readers to become a customer as well.

Friendly staff,affordable, & fast...they didn't get 5 stars because they charge a 3% fee if you pay with anything other than cash. I've only seen this at places where your purchase is under $5. Not for an almost $200 job.

I (embarrassingly) had to stop here one day and they were so nice to me! I was out-of-town and needed to check my email, to be able to print a time sensitive document I needed ASAP. I wondered into Rusher Tire and Auto hoping they would help me check my email and print the document I needed. It was probably the weirdest thing they ve ever been asked to help with, but they were so nice and helped me when I really needed it! Good guys and a great environment!

I have a 2020 Kia Sportage I have about 73,000 miles on that wouldn't start. I took it to the dealership (Gerry Wood Kia Salisbury) where they stated it was the starter, wasn't under warranty and would cost $750. I refused to deal with that nonsense and decided to tow it to Rusher Tire and Auto as they quoted me a lot less if it was the starter. My car was tested and found to have a battery short. My battery was replaced and upon returning I found the dealership had placed the cover from underneath my car in my backseat when the car was towed. They did not place the necessary parts in the car for the cover to be reattached and it was covered in oil where ANOTHER Kia dealership (Dutch Miller Kia Charlotte) didn't put my drain plug back in right. I was able to leave the cover until I could get the parts from Kia and get my car back to them which took more than 7 weeks as I had to have surgery. When I called they scheduled me to come in the next day as I needed an oil change as well as the cover reattached. They got the work done quickly and professionally. Everyone there is very kind and I trust them with both my vehicles, I also have a 2005 Corolla they will be replacing an axle on. Whether you know a little or a lot about cars Rusher Tire and Auto is your best bet when it comes to car care. I travel a lot for work and having a reliable and affordable mechanic who isn't going to try and take advantage of me is very important to me and I'm so grateful I found Rusher Tire and Auto. 10/10 highly recommend.

Was out of town & had a tire with a hole in it, I googled tire repair shops near me & this is the one I decided to go with. Such a great choice! Super friendly service, great prices & they went out of their way to make sure I was able to make it home safely by checking & adding all the fluids I needed as well as putting awesome tires on for me. Would definitely recommend this shop to any one with car troubles rather you live in the area or are just passing through. Thank you guys, so much!!

I was charged $500 and they didn't even fix the truck. I went to pick up the truck and it wouldn't start. It's been sitting there at Rusher tire for probably two months because it wouldn't start, and it has a flat tire. And now they're threatening to tow it.Rip-off tire & automotive would be a better name!

I had a nail in my tire, stupidly went to Firestone, after 4 hours of having my tire they said it couldn't be fixed and I needed a new tire. I knew this was laziness on their part so I called rusher. They told me to bring it in and with 5 min before closing fixed my tire. Great customer service and looks out for the customers needs.

Fixed up my car after Jiffy Lube busted the coolant valve. I was stranded in Salisbury and my engine was blowing white smoke; I got my car towed to Rusher Tire and Automotive on a Sunday night and by 10 o'clock the next morning they had fixed the problem and run general maintenance on my car for a quarter of the price I paid for Jiffy Lube to break it in the first place. Rusher Tire even picked me up from my hotel that morning to bring me to their shop. Great service and good work. Local car mechanics are the way to go!

Will love the dealing with first-time services for over 40 years and I remember when it was on both sides of town the south end and the North I don't have any complaints at all the management it's beautiful you always greeted with a smile and the work is done as soon as they get it in there if you have an appointment it is done shortly after and they will call you and let you know how serious the situation is I've known him for years so I think them

I highly recommend Rusher Tire & Auto for any repairs that need to be made. They know how to fix up cars and are genuinely great people. I had car trouble as I was passing through town and they did everything they could to get me back out on the road again. I am so grateful for their help.

I really like these folks, they do excellent work, they are business minded folks. Plenty of parking unless they're bizzy, or you could make an appointment. But I really trust these folks with what I asked them to do. Check um out!

Excellent and fast service. Had busted tire at 2am and had my car towed there. They fixed it right away the next morning. Definitely will be going back.
