Don't get an emissions test here!! I've got a 30 year old car and they charged me for failed emissions, which is exempt for 30 plus or more years. They were hateful and acted like they didn't even want to do the inspection from the get-go. This is an antique vehicle, and these guys are trying to do an emissions test and charge. Contacted the state, and there will be an investigation cause they weren't supposed to even test an antique for emissions. Worst place to go in salisbury nc for inspections and very lazy even the technician even agreed there shouldn't be an emissions done but Todd told them to test for over 30 years old.

Great experience, my old Jeep needed a lot of repairs they called and told me what was wrong and have a quote for repairs and to check if I wanted to do it. Very honest and trustworthy people. Will definitely use them again

Came in for an inspection and then I suddenly had a check engine light. Todd was patient and gracious enough to take care of the issue despite me being aggressive on the issue. I went to the dealership and they wanted a 4000$ to fix a bogus problem. Turns out newer vehicles just have issues clearing after inspection. After resetting the car it ran fine.Will definitely come again especially after he showed effort and integrity to resolve the issue.

Clean place of business friendly staff very helpful. They were a little more expensive than another place I take my vehicle to have work done, but they convenient to where my vehicle broke down at. They did did an excellent job getting it fixed and back on the road for me. Thanks Allgood

They are either incompetent or they are rip-off artists. They told me I needed a new fuel pump. Had it towed away hired a mobile mechanic and he said my fuel pump was fine. Your choice what you want to believe are they incompetent or are they rip off artists?

First time at Alligoods today and I will definitely be coming back for all my alignment needs. Very friendly staff and the work was completed in a timely manner (and on a saturday)! They even gave me a call before doing the alignment to let me know my strut rod bushings needed to be replaced. I appreciate it guys!! I highly recommend this business.

Had a knocking noise under the hood. From past experience with other vehicles this type of knocking had meant expensive repairs. When they checked it out, it was loose bolts. It would have been easy to charge me whatever but they only charged for the time to inspect the vehicle and diagnose. I will absolutely use Alligood again

Had my valve cover gasket replaced. Did a fab job, plus cleaned the oil that may have splattered on the engine or wherever: i was not expecting that!Reasonable cost for service and parts with a small town hospitality and free coffee!Thanks Todd, Pam and Mike@

I usually go to this company cuz they've always demonstrated honesty and integrity Plus have the best prices I've seen overall. If you need a regular local mechanic this is a great choice!

Finding a quality and HONEST car repair shop is difficult to do but with Alligood Tire you are sure to get both. Their workmanship is top notch and more importantly there have been several instances where they confided there was nothing needing immediate action saving me money and time. I was pleasantly surprised when they called me by my first name after only a couple of visits! Alligood is my go-to shop for all car repair issues!

Had my car worked on 4/24/21 The workers was friendly and they did a great job on my car had it ready in a few hours.I had spend a few hundred dollars on some major work. I will be back if i need anymore major car repairs.

This place is run by old school experienced mechanics who tell the truth and treat your car like it's their own car. They never try to sell unnecessary services. Go here for all your automotive needs.

Great place been going here for years ....I m hell on tires ....Todds a great man always remembers his customer takes care of me every time wether it s inspections tires brakes some light mechanical always on point and always in a timely matter ....SHOP LOCAL ..... thanks guys y all the best

Very honest people an it dont take them allday to fix whatevers wrong with your automobile. I wouldn't take my car anywhere eles there the only one that can touch my car. Really pleased Thanks Alligood.
