Staff is friendly. Store stocked well with tons of items.Had a hard time making it there when the only person who is able to fill propane was there. Took 3 days for our schedules to align. The advertised price is 3.99/gal. I confirmed the price with the man who was filling the tank. I have 30lb tanks (7gal). When I went to pay she charged me $40+tax. When asked why I m paying $5.71/gal instead of their $3.99 price, I was told they charge flat rates for transportable tanks and 3.99 is for onboard tanks of RVs that can t be removed. What a scam. At 3.99/gal I should have paid no more than $30 for the tank to be filled including tax.I can assure you that they aren t paying much more than $2/gal wholesale price. No reason they should be marking it up that much. Never pay flat rates for propane. Such a ripoff.

Best egg and biscuit sandwiches on the island. Chicken and gravy, comfort food, and so much more. My family looks forward to their first sandwich every year we vacation in OBX.

Nice people here. Offered to make me a fresh pot of coffee 30 minutes before closing! They also have higher-quality foods and convenience groceries than other nearby places, and some nice and interesting souvenirs. It's a great place to stop in Rodanthe or on the way elsewhere in OBX.

Exceptional service! We visited frequently, perched gas, a tote bag, food, drinks and Dramamine.Lines moved quickly. Everyone I enteracted with was friendly, kind, and helpful.

Not especially nice or helpful. We got our car stuck in sand just outside town and called for help. A good samaritan stopped after we called, and the guy from Liberty got upset about that when he arrived and drove off without talking to us and finding out that this kind stranger did not have a way to pull us out. I called back and thethey pretty much said "too bad." Luckily, another kind stranger stopped and helped us!

They say hello as soon as you walk in the door. A friendly country store, they have everything from a 1/2 day fishing charter to a deli sandwich, clean restrooms, bags of 10 and 20 pounds of ice.

Aweful service at the deli! The two ladies preparing and serving the food were very rude! Everything is super expensive! Get your snacks and food somewhere else before you arrive to this island!!

A very good variety shop and deli, with friendly people. Store includes groceries, and items for camping and fishing. One of the few places in town to get newspapers.
