Took my Mom's 2018 Kia Sorento V6 to Ralph's Repair Shop for a tune-up that required a lot of work to do it. I was quoted a price that I felt was reasonable for the work needed to do the job. Miranda was very friendly and knowledgeable about what was needed to do to give me a good quote. I dropped off the car in the morning expecting not to get the car back til the next day which I would have been OK with. To my surprise, they called before the end of the day and said the vehicle was done. I was shocked, and as a bonus, they did it well under the original quote. I will be going back to this shop for not only my Mom's vehicle for her, but my own as well. I can't recommend them enough!!!

I did a walk-in for my car inspection, then scheduled an appointment for an oil change, and they did a great job! Courtesy cleaned out the inside after the job was done and had my vehicle ready in less than an hour. (Oil change, psi balanced, etc.) Recieved a follow-up message the next day to ensure things went well. Highly recommended.

I was traveling through the area and needed brake repairs. Ralph s got me in right away, sourced a hard- to- find part and had the repair done within a couple of hours. They also did an oil change all on a busy Friday without an appointment. I felt so fortunate to land where I did and was able to get back on the road right away. Thank you , Ralph s you were a lifesaver!

World class service for Auto repair. I was on I-95 from Virginia to Florida and the check engine electric light came on. Pulled into Advance Auto, tested it and bad alternator....pointed across the street to Ralph's so I went. These guys took my Land Rover and got me back on the road to FL in 4 hours~. Extremely fair price and called me the next day to make sure I got where I was going. Ralph's Auto Repair is next level, these guys actually care about their customers. How refreshing in this day and age. Kudo's to you guys for having a business culture for caring!

I took my truck in and the mechanic said he replaced my brakes and rotors but actually did not this place is a scam and will rip you off. Do not go here. Ralph the owner even knew that the mechanic was doing this. I paid 500$ for work that never evening got done. Took it to another mechanic and they did it right for me. DO NOT GO HERE THEY WILL SCAM YOU. I also tried to call and talk to them about it and they hung up on me multiplie times.Services: Auto brake repair, Brakes, Auto brake replacement, Oil change

I recently just moved down here from Massachusetts. I know nobody my car was acting up. I randomly looked at a couple reviews I like this places reviews I brought it here they were so quick. The communication was great. The time was amazing they went above and beyond, they were so honest you know it s scary bring in your car to a mechanic when you know nothing about cars because you don t know if they re lying to you, but I did not feel that way with them.

My service light came on while driving through North Carolina and did a quick Google search for mechanics nearby and found Ralph s. They took us in right away, were thorough and walked us through everything, and were incredibly helpful even when it was found to be an issue I need to take to my dealership. We don t live near Mount Rocky, but would take my car back there any time!

Went to get a vehicle inspection done. I specifically asked for a certain mechanic...next thing you know this young girl asks me for my keys. She's supposedly the receptionist...why do you need my keys? She's not a technician so technically she cannot move my vehicle. Low and behold, she pulls my vehicle into the bay to be inspected. Mind you, she's not qualified to touch my vehicle. If you're not the technician moving the vehicle into the bay, it voids the inspection...my vehicle failed!!! I will not bring my vehicle to this establishment again unless this is rectified by the owner!My most recent visit, this girl was wearing short shorts to work (I did not bring my vehicle...I had to talk to the owner). She's wearing skimpy shorts while the owner and the mechanics/technicians are professionally wearing a uniform.Service: Vehicle safety inspection

I called Ralph s this morning with a very tall order: I needed my alternator replaced in order to leave for a road trip tomorrow. I spoke with David, who was very kind and professional, and he said that while they probably couldn t get to it today, they could fix it first thing tomorrow morning and to bring the car over today just in case they were able to start on it. Well, I received the call this afternoon that my car was fixed and ready for pickup. I was blown away! They also made sure to look over everything else, as they knew I would be traveling. I am very grateful for all their help. Ralph s will get my business every time going forward. Highly recommend!

I am blown away by this company s professionalism and ability to get quality work done quickly. I am new to the area and usually do my work either myself or at a trusted shop in my previous town. My cars check engine light came on and the codes that registered were problems with the O2 sensors before I called them. These sensors have been replaced once, so I did want a more detailed look to make sure nothing else was causing them to fail. Not only was the light on, my car was driving questionably. I called them immediately and they were able to get my car in quickly. The day my car went in they called me by the end of the day with a diagnosis and to tell me my car was ready. They took their time going over my exhaust system and ran the codes again, cleaned a few things that could be causing the issues, and my car was done. They didn't replace parts that didn't need to be replaced to get money, and they didn't even replace with parts I brought in just incase since I had them on hand. This shop is not here for a money grab and I feel their prices are fair for services, I was honestly shocked when I was told the price for the services my car received because it was not much. From the wonderful women at the front desk, to the owner, and mechanics everyone was so pleasant and knowledgeable. My car is driving like a dream! I can say this is officially my go to shop whenever I need some work done!Service: Auto exhaust system repair

I took my 2011 Chevy Silverado to Ralph's because I had a check engine light. I was told by my normal service guy to go there because they were the best. He was right! David took time to show me what the codes were and explained what to do to fix them. It may take a couple of trips back to very that the repairs done have resolved the issues. It is rare to find a shop with expertise and customer service. I trust this team and that's a rare thing in today's society.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

My car was in an auto accident and the first shop I took my vehicle to was not able to locate and repair the issues beyond the body damage. I then took my car to Ralph s in hopes that a fresh set of eyes would help.Not only was I impressed and more than satisfied with the speed of the service, they located the issue and fixed it beyond my expectations. 5 stars for an amazing service. We came on a monday at 7.30 am after an emergency that happened to us on the highway. We blew a hose. They took us immediately, they worked fast, they were the nicest and the bill was very fair. HIGHLY recommend this team of professional. The best auto shop in Rocky MT, dropped my car off the evening before, my car was ready at 10am the next day! Had to replace my AC hose and they did a real good job and also refilling my ac! One place was gonna charge me over $600 for the job but Ralph charged way less than that! He will be my go to for repairs! If you're anywhere near Rocky Mount and there is anything wrong with your vehicle Ralph's Tune Up is the place to go; they will find the problem and fix it, if they can't they will refer you to someone who can.

I have been with this wonderful team for a few years now. I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of services. We all know how important it is to find a person who is reliable, trustworthy friendly and who has experience and I have found all that with David and his team! I am very happy with his work and attention to detail he will go above and beyond to make sure the work is done properly and at an affordable price . I am traveling from PA to FL and noticed an exterior car problem while entering NC. I had called Ralph s to see if they would be able to help and they were happy to do so even though they were closing within the hour. Ralph s was able to solve my problem easily and quickly they were extremely friendly and I was absolutely blown away with their generosity with the price of my service. Outstanding, honest, fair service from Ralph's! My son and I were traveling back from South Carolina to Massachusetts when the Jeep began to blow cold air with the heat on. Also, looked like the engine was beginning to overheat. Jumped off the highway and found Ralph's, thankfully. Began to explain and he immediately knew the issue. He immediately went outside, fixed the problem, and we were on our way. All for $40. Love it when you find knowledgable, honest workmanship. Thanks for keeping us on the road!! Highly recommend!

My car broke down passing through the area. I had my dad tow the vehicle here after reading the great reviews online. I was not disappointed! The service exceeded my expectations. The staff were very kind and accommodating. I was in and out the same day at a fairly reasonable price. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a mechanic in the area. I'm considering traveling from Raleigh for services in the future.

I've taken my car here a few times, both for inspection and major repair, and I've been treated exceptionally well every time. Dave, Miranda and the crew are all extremely friendly and professional. My family was traveling and our car had issues on the highway (95). We came across Ralph s and they took care of it! Very friendly, and professional at what they do! $600 for a starter plus install? Mom is on a set income. I guess the real question is, when did car repair turn into the medical industry? Even if labor is $150 an hour and the part is $200 then $600 is way over. You and I both know with a fairly long extension this is an easy job. Never worked on a Honda CRV in your life you say? Well, obviously a diagnostic fee is $250. Honestly, I hope your mom's septic tank over flows and the guy mentions the price of deisel and charges $1500. To add, starters are a very common problem with this make and model. But you know that or should.

First off I was so impressed on how clean and organized the shop was. David is very knowledgeable with his craft. He made sure to keep me informed and up to date with the progress of my vehicle. Since the repairs performed to my 83 C10 I haven't had any more issues. Always first class service. The people at Ralph's are trustworthy and professional. If they tell me something, I can believe it. My Family and I were driving down to Hilton Head and had a exhaust system alert pop up on our display. The car was hesitating and wouldn t accelerate making us all nervous. I drove over Ralph s first thing in the morning.The shop was impeccable. Well organized, well maintained and clearly well run.They quickly diagnosed the error, googled it online, read the appropriate actions, cleared the error, checked my oil for water and then told me to take it for a test drive. Their suggestions fixed it. No charge.They could have easily made this a big repair bill and slowed down our vacation but didn t. I wish I had a mechanic like this at home.I recommend them highly, just don t ask about the closest Starbucks.

Called in the morning for front brakes and rotor replacement. They got me in as quickly as possible. Gave me a great discount using one of their coupons, and even vacuumed the front floor board before returning the car to me! Very happy, satisfied customerService: BrakesService: Brakes
