Great place and very friendly people here. Too bad they don't do semibtruck tires but he gave me a few recommendations and let them fix me up in his parking lot since I had 2 trailer tires gone.

I highly recommend Pridgen Tire Auto! Very professional, honest and reliable. The best customer service ...reasonable prices & overall good people.The staff went above & beyond when I arrived to get a 4wheel alignment. I would like to highlight my experience with Nathan; he identified a problem (missing piece) on a lift kit that was installed on my jeep one day prior. He went a step further & spoke to the shop that installed the kit & explained the issue.Nathan literally saved me from a dangerous situation. I was able to get this fixed immediately & returned the next day for my alignment. To add to how amazing my experience was, the owner Ducked my Jeep :) Everyone is so down to earth A+ all around.

Tom, Steve, & Staff superb professionals! Saw me drive up and went out to open and hold the door to greet me and ask how they may serve my needs. Provided an estimate of a surprisingly quick turn around, and even got it done quicker than estimated! Throughout the process very personable and conversational including status updates. Very reasonable prices. They welcomed me like a close friend or really good family. One of the very best auto shop experiences I ve ever had! Steve and Tom are amazing. On our way back up to Pennsylvania, we hit something awful on I-95 and it popped my tire. They were able to help me out and had the forthough to order a tire ahead of time, just in case a tire patch wasn't going to work. very shortly after realizing a new tire was needed, they help me and my family out, going above and beyond showing hospitality to us even giving our puppy water. While they were quite busy throughout the day, they never allowed it to affect their commitment to customer service. While this part of our trip was unexpected, I am grateful to Pridgen Tire for helping us out.

They removed my rating. Shame on them. About a year ago I came to their shop to have my car looked at. I need to fully know what was wrong with it for court case. The car's gas pedal wasn't working right and I had a hard time starting it. It ended up being a sensor. Since I wasn't getting fix(car came from repair shop) there,they sent me on my way.I asked if it was safe to drive home,the reply was yes. On the way home the sensors acted up making me almost going off the road. Afterwards I got off the road.I did end up in a ditch afterward. I am thankful that my child wasn't in the car.Will not use them again. More worried about the money then the safety of the client.I would of towed it out.I still have a copy of the invoice and will keep repost this.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

These guys were great! We had a tire issue on our trip home. I called in the morning and they ordered the tire, which came that afternoon. They had me in and out in less than an hour.

The nicest people you will meet. I luckily stopped here in the middle of a 9 hour road trip with a 2 year old because of a tire pressure warning light that had come on (second time in 2 hours even after filling). The staff was incredibly courteous and understanding and checked the tires for any leaks and got us back on the road safely. Good and honest people, I wish I lived closer because I would take both my cars here. Even though I had never been here before I felt like family.Service: Tires

EXPENSIVE!! I usually don t leave reviews but I m OUTDONE! I just paid a total of $109 for JUST AN OIL CHANGE on my Camry!! I asked about this price and was told everything went up . I asked around and no one I talked too, even with high mileage has been given this price. Even with my mileage I USED to pay $58 with another place. These people are nice and friendly. I honestly like them and I m usually faithful to good service but it took all day plus to be blind sided by this price I m SO OUTDONE and might have to go elsewhere next time for my wallet sake!Service: Oil change

I have been in 3 times. They have been more then helpful with my automotive needs. They have great service, reasonable pricing. One day the walked across the street to help me get my car unlocked. Sending two of them. They didn't charge me.. that was the second time, they didn't charge me for a minor easy fix issue. I am grateful They are so close. I am further appreciative of the great attitudes, of all of them.I am happy, I can trust them.Thank you Pridgen Tire & Automotive ..:^)

I went to Pridgen on Tuesday to inquire about having my cars antifreeze replaced and the system flushed. I asked if they had the red antifreeze specifically designed for my Asian cars. The person behind the desk said yes, they have the red antifreeze and it can be installed in the car. He stated they do not take appointments, just drop the car off.I dropped the car off the following Thursday. I asked the new person, who took my information, and the same person I spoke with on Tuesday that they had the red antifreeze designed specifically for my car. They both assured me they have all the types of antifreeze and they would install the car specific antifreeze in my car.I picked the car up late Thursday afternoon, both individuals I spoke with that morning were present and I was told they installed the universal antifreeze instead of the one requested because it was the antifreeze that was in the machine.So much for what we agreed to. That does not say too much for Pridgen credibility. Do they do this to other non-suspecting customers?Service: General repairs & maintenance

This place was amazing!!!! We were traveling far from home and had a slow leak. We stopped to get a plug job and hoped it wouldn't be too long. Customer service was excellent and they took us right away and it did not take long at all. We were on our way home before we knew it. I would highly recommend. It is also fantastic that it is a Veteran owned and operated store.Service: Tires

If I could give this place one hundred stars I would. I am from out of town and encountered an issue with my brakes while I was traveling and they fixed it the same day with no problem. I had another problem the next day and it was fixed with ease. You will not be disappointed at all. These men are very nice. I was over satisfied with the work done.

Awesome and friendly staff, but just heads up if you use a vehicle thats pre 96, ie. OBD 1, this shop is not equipped to diagnose anything that goes beyond a visual inspection. They were super polite and got back to me fast, so while the experience was pleasant, overall disappointed as I wish when I explained it was a 95 while dropping it off someone would of told me they can't work on anything with OBD1.

In and out real quick for emissions test and state inspection. No appointment needed. Grab a bite to eat next door at Hardee's while you wait.

This place was wonderful. We were on our way from Virginia to South Carolina for a wedding. We blew a tire and just 30 minutes before closing without hesitation they helped get us back on the road. They were friendly courteous and very affordable. Nice to the kids. Ice cold AC. Got us on our way in no time. We really appreciated their kind service. Would recommend to anyone.

I've been dealing with Pridgen Tire & Auto Center for over 10 years now and never been disappointed by them. They are a veteran owned and operated business and some of the nicest people you can deal with. If something is wrong with your car they don't beat around the bush about it, they tell you straight up what's going on. I would recommend Pridgen to anyone and I would also like to tell themThank you for your service to our Country and also the service you provide for the citizens of Rocky Mount.

We're new to the area, so we wanted to find a place to get established for our auto maintenance. I was very content with the service here -- the front staff was courteous and clear in their communication. And looking through the materials in the waiting room, I liked that this business seems to support the local community. From what few interactions I saw, it also seemed the staff got along well, which is always nice. Free Wi-Fi too.It did take longer than I expected, but you never know what they have on their hands in the back. I'm confident they wasted no time. I'd be glad to return for any auto care needs.Service: Oil change
