DO NOT take your car to Mavis tires and brakes on US Hwy 70in GOLDSBORO! !!!! My car was perfectly fine until they touched it!!!! The oil light never came on until literally 30 minutes after they touched it. I took my car back to them so they could fix what they did and of course they didn t do anything and won t do anything about what they messed up!!! They are a joke

I went to get two new tires. They put the tires and balanced them. I always get my oil changed here and the crew is always very nice and the work is done quickly. I would definitely recommend my family and friends go here

The customer service sucks! They are rude and incompetent! Took my vehicle to get 2 front tires the receipt said they balanced the tires but that was a lie! When I got to 45 mph the vehicle was shaking like a stripper! Went back in that morning and he advised he would look at it, I then asked if they offered alignments he said yes at an additional charge! Duh I never asked if it was an additional fee the fact that you didn't suggest or offer it when the vehicle was brought in to get front tires on a vehicle and then repeat that it's 100$ plus tax! If I just paid almost 300$ for tires why wouldn't I get an alignment so the vehicle and ride smooth!!!!! He never apologized never said we will fix this sorry for the inconvenience or anything

We were driving down 95 around 5:30 pm when our car started to shake and there was a low grumbling noise coming from the rear. Luckily Mavis was open until 8:30, got our car in promptly, sorted out the issue with our tires and got us back on the road under 2 hours. Highly recommend. Staff were great!!!

Friendly, hospitable professional staff who took care of our tire problem within 35/40 mins. They did it with a complete review/inspection at half the price of what Firestone wanted to charge. Mavis' employee created an account for hubby and gave him the few locations up in the NYC area, should we have another episode.Cool dudes, no hustle.

Mavis in Rocky mount nc,messed up my truck. I had rotors put on both side of the front and that was all it needed. But when they finished and I was driving my truck home. I could tell it was woggling in the back badly.Please do not take your vehicle there. They mess some else on my truck BADLY. So it is totally not that much drivable. But before I took it there it were perfectly fine but the rotors. I could drive my truck any where in this world. I Took my truck back to them and they did nothing to correct what they mess up.Thank you!!

Great customer service. Place about business. Call them they will get you right if you need tires. If the rest of the service they offer is like that then you missing out if you not a customer

Very impressed with this Mavis location. I spoke to David (store manager at front desk) there and after doing the wheel alignment he confirmed that the shop in Piscataway NJ had not done a proper job on the alignment. I'm glad David was able to help, please extend my compliments to him and the employees that worked on our 07 Honda CRV. I was impressed with how professionally David handled the situation and he also recommended I get the wheel balancing checked as he expressed his suspicion that our wheel balancing done at a Sam's club in Edison, NJ was likely not done properly based on the description of issues. We got that checked after leaving Mavis and David was 100% correct about that too so I really appreciated his insight. We left very satisfied and drove back to NJ with a much better ride and peace of mind.

Do not take car to this location!!!! They crack my rim and not trying to repair. My rim wasn t leaking air when I brought it there!!! Very unprofessional!!! Regional Manger hung up on me! Won t give me his last name, but I got it Scott Varju!! See you in court!!! All I want is my rim repaired!

Had a bad rubber valve stem on one of our RV tires - we took the rim and tire to Bert (shop manager)and he was able to quickly replace the bad valve stem with a new metal assembly. Service was great - professional and friendly. Would highly recommend.

We have bought tires there had no problem but we took our car there to have breaks put on and they came back and said the brakes were good and it was a caliper on the front left side that had a loose bolt in it so they tighten that one bolt and sent us on our way. Then a couple months later I was driving down the road at 50 mph and the entire caliper falls off and causes the car to stop and throw me into the steering wheel. We had the car towed back up and they put the caliper back on I noticed the rim was badly damaged and every morning now I have to put air in that tire that is brand new. Nothing wrong with the tire. I asked them to see what they can do with the rim since all this was their fault in the first place for not tightening the bolts properly and they told me there s nothing that they can do. The service guys aren t highly skilled in customer service obviously don t use this place they don t care about good customers!!!! We have spent $900 there in the previous month too. How bout that!!

Second visit. And Brandon and Keyshon at the front desk were amazing. Reasonable quote and service done in a timely manner. And on all visit very impressive waiting area and play area. These guys are great.

This specific tire shop went far beyond the job description with professionalism, friendliness and enthusiasm. One manager (I assume from the white shirt) and three shop hands were able to get me back up and running after I limped into their parking lot with some flat tires. I would recommend this shop to anyone in 95 having tire trouble. I will be reaching out to corporate as well so that they don t miss this review. Good job gentlemen. You deserved more than your wages today.

Loved the experience at Mavis Tires. They had options when it came to buying my tires. They took care of my vehicle and they were all very nice. This is the 3rd time i've come here and this will always be the place I buy my tires from. They are open late which works because I have a job that ends around 5. Best service in Rocky Mount.

I went in for a simple tire rotation, that turned out to be a big problem. I had new tires installed at different store and they fell to tell me that they broke the adapter to remove the anti theft lug nut. And the guys had there work cut out for them to remove those lug nuts. They got the job done in no time at all. They install 5 new lug nuts to replace the others ones, if had a flat tire on the road that would be a problem. And when they were finished they wouldn t take any money for the repairs. So if need any repairs give the guys at Marvin s Tire a call, they did a excellent job.

My brakes were BAD one evening after work. I am from out of state and had NO idea where to go. So, a place that is literally called tires & BRAKES? Easy choice. Got my brakes fixed that night! I had an issue with a tire going low. Stop by quick & they checked it and filled it. In and out. Very very very nice people. Recommend to anyone.

I got a flat tire in Nashville, NC traveling to Delaware. I called Mavis in Rocky Mount and the gentleman there was so helpful and accomodating. I called at 11am and 5 hours later Triple A showed up. When i got to Mavis the gentleman took me right away, charged a fair price and got me on the road in 20 minutes. He was very professional, kind and honest. Will be getting all my tire needs there in the future.

I had been having some scraping sound coming from my brakes when I stop or slowed down and this has been going on for a short time.I stopped in and asked them to check it out. They explained and gave me an estimate . This was done in a timely manner, and it came with a lifetime warranty. Top notch service. So glad I tried them out. They are very friendly and professional and I appreciate that. Prices were very reasonable and within limits.The entire staff was very friendly and I appreciate this. I will tell all my female friends about this place because they try and sell you something you don't need. This is important to me, money is tight. We need to spend it wisely.

I m not one to BAD MOUTH a business but MAVIS TIRE and BRAKES has brought out my inner demon!On February 24th I called and asked if they had (4 )225/55 R19 in stock, why yes we do for $699 (65,000 mile tire). The young man requested a deposit which I happily paid, and asked what the wait time was and was told no wait. So my daughter and myself drove from Cracker Barrel straight to Mavis Tire and Brakes, after sitting for over an hour was told they only had 2 of the 4 tires I put a deposit on! They put the 2 tires on and told me that they would have the other 2 Saturday, they were told that my daughters next day off would be Thursday, that s fine we ll have them! Thursday my daughter drivers from spring hope to Rocky Mount, Yes ma am we have them sometime later she was told we can t find them!!! I called customer service for Mavis and was told oh I m sending you a voucher and area manager will be in contact with you! I M STILL HEARING CRICKETS and no tires!Thank You Pridgen and Tire Service for picking up their slack! Called Steve this morning 2 tires in by 2:00!Please support our small business owners!!! We may pay a little extra but AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE WILL CARRY YOU ALONG WAY!!!!

Had a nail in my tire and didn t get off work until 5 pm. I called them and they were able to fit me in same day and get my tire patched up all before 6 pm when they closed up. Would recommend

My first experience with this business was indeed great. The gentleman at the front counter was very nice and calm. He explained in detail my services and what it all entailed. I was provided with updates about my vehicle and was asked before fixing, if I wanted to proceed with additional repairs. The wait for repair was not long. This also could have been because the facility was not very busy. Either way, service was efficient and sufficient.

I went in close to closing time and I was greeted by a guy named Joe and he was really respectful towards me and listed and even asked questions because I was definitely struggling. The manger David, had GREAT customer service he smiled, he joked with me! I was in there for at least a good 10 min and I was out quickly. His staff works efficiently and quickly. When I left my tire pressure light turned off completely and it s been on for weeks! Mavis Tired and Breaks definitely has a big loyal customer!

I now have a new home to buy tires and have tire maintenance done. Stopped by and had a flat tire on my truck. I was greeted by a guy named David and he sent Jamel to take care of my tire. In 10 minutes I was done and gone. New valve stem and both men were awesome with customer service. I used to be in retail management and I would hire these two guys in a heartbeat!! Thank Rocky Mount, NC Mavis!! Mavis now has a very satisfied local customer who will handle ANY of my tire issues from here on out!
