I was looking for a SUV vehicle and my friend suggested that I go to the Honda Dealership here in town. I had forgotten that my good friend - Mr. Ben Silver works there and a classmate from high school - Mr. Angelo Phillips is the Finance guy. I had the pleasure of seeing them. They assisted me and I walked away with a 2024 Honda HRV, brand new off the lot with very low mileage under 30 miles. I am so happy and I love my new Honda. Thanks Davenport Honda of Rocky Mount NC. So, driving home to Elizabeth City when my trusty honda went down for the count. Luckily I was close to Davenport Auto Park so I pulled into the honda repair center. They had an opening and took me right in. It was a difficult problem to diagnose but they did find it and fix it. They knew I was from out of town so they put their best guy on it until he fixed it. It wasn't easy. If you want your automobile fixed go to Davenport and see Wes Jeffries. Thank you so very much Davenport Auto Park!!!

The situation I reported last month, unfortunately, happened again today. Fortunately, I experienced the same stellar customer service from Scott and Wes that I did last month. Thank you Scott and Wes.Before traveling to Raleigh today at 8am, I noticed a tire seemed to have low tire pressure. I checked and the pressure was very low. I traveled to Honda service department at Davenport Auto Park. Wes Jeffries and the service team were receptive to my issue and checked the tire without any delay. There was a nail in the tire. The tire was plugged and I was on my way in less than 20 mins. Wes, Craig, Scott, and those involved were kind and courteous, as always. This was a thank God situation and for service team being so kind and willing to take care of the issue asap. A+ service department.

Did not know buying a car could be pleasant. No pressure from Elgin.Ending up trading cars and purchased a new GMC. The finance manager, Elizabeth, was awesome, especially patient explaining everything. Best experience ever.

Was just going to look at used trucks. Found exactly what we wanted. Salesman was very friendly and helpful. Got a great deal. Walked out with a 2015 Ford F150. My husband and I are very pleased with everything.

Had a great experience with Davenport Honda! I live over 5 hours away and found my car and they was super patience with me until I could travel down. Charlene was a good communicator and Anthony was great salesman and very friendly. Highly recommend definitely worth the drive if you live far away or even close!

Great staff, selection, and prices. Tori helped me order accessories and even got me in with no appointment or wait time. Honest, fair, and trustworthy company to deal with. Also gave me a truck to drive while in town. I live in Wilmington, NC but it is well worth the drive to deal with Davenport. Thanks for all your help!

We just purchased a Honda Odyssey Elite 2018 with Charlene Hatfield. Davenport Honda came out as the winner amongst approximately 6 dealerships that I was negotiating with. Not only did Davenport Honda (and Charlene) provide the best offer, they also provided a no-BS, no-hassle, straightforward and transparent experience. We negotiated over the phone, and while there was some back-and-forth for manager approvals, Charlene was great about keeping us informed on where we stood and proactively communicated when it was taking longer than expected to get answers. We gave Charlene a bit of a runaround, not only on price, but also about exploring color options that they did not have in stock. She worked really hard to get us the answers we needed.Beyond negotiation, the purchase process was also seamless. We were coming from out of town, sent Charlene required documentation prior to arriving so that most of the paperwork was complete by the time we made it there. Charlene was scheduled to be off at 5, but she stayed around until 6:30 to ensure a smooth transition to Tim, another salesperson who worked through the final details.The dealership was also willing to work with us on financing. Although we were planning to pay in cash, the funds had not been transferred such that we could write a check for the entire amount. The team was very accommodating, and we were able to come up with a safe and equitable arrangement.One of the best car-buying experiences I've ever had.

Their customer service is amazing. Gene Langley was the best help and really went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of! I will not go anywhere else to purchase a vehicle! They make sure that your best interest is in mind. Angelo, the finance manager, was also a huge help. He explained everything in detail and walked me through each step. I can not say thank you enough!! I love my new Honda Accord!

Have give a big shout out to the Davenport Autopark service team. We were driving from NY to FL and stayed overnight in Rocky Mt. NC. In the morning as we got back on the road we got a flat tire just as we started out. By luck, Davenport was right there by our hotel. Scott, the service manager, took us in at 8:30 in the morning with no appointment, inspected all our tires, and found a second tire with a problem as well. He had two new tires mounted and balanced and installed on the car and had us on our way by 10:30. If not for Scott and the service team at Davenport we probably have lost an entire day. I can't say enough good things about Davenport, Scott and their exceptional commitment to customer service.

My Mother just purchased a 2018 Honda CR-V with an awesome sales consultant Matt Joyner! We had an amazing buying experience with Davenport Autopark! Matt was friendly, knowledgeable, respectfull and honest which are words you normally cannot say about a car dealership! I worked for a major dealership in Raleigh in sales so trust me I know what I'm talking about! As a new resident of the Rocky Mount NC area, I was unfamiliar with the caliber of customer service rendered in this region of America and was overjoyed when I met and had the opportunity to purchase my vehicle with dealer, David Stewart of DavenPort Honda!!! David was a professional from the start!! Going into a dealership can be daunting especially in my circumstances and as a female in desperate need of reliable transportation for myself and children. It was paramount that I establish a trustworthy relationship with the dealer to meet my families transportation needs. David was all things integrity and instantly made me feel comfortable and I felt like I was in the dealership with a close family member because he was very transparent and treated me as if I was his daughter. I truly feel so blessed to have purchased my vehicle with such an incredibly knowledgeable and caring dealer. As if this transaction was not seamless enough, David has gone above and beyond by making himself available even after the purchase of my vehicle for minor nuances. To this day, David continues to be responsive and extremely helpful to me as I navigate this newly purchased gem.

I can t say enough good things about Davenport. I have purchased all of my vehicles there and I plan to do so for a long time! My husband and I had a wonderful experience working with Jared to help us purchase our first vehicle together. Even though we got there just an hour before they closed, they never made us feel rushed and even stayed late to finish the deal. I highly recommend Davenport and their entire team!

We are so excited about our latest purchase at Davenport Autopark. Gene Langley has sold us three Hondas over the years. He has always been gracious, kind and thorough. He is our go-to guy at Davenport!The vehicles have been great! My 2011 Accord is tooting its horn at 276,000 miles, Steve's CRV is getting 38-40 mpg on his road trips, and NOW I have a Honda Odessey Touring edition. I cant wait to pick up my grandkids and kick around with it.My elderly and hip/foot-challenged Aunt and Uncle can easily get in this Odessey. Getting out is no problem either! I'll see them again soon to go for an errand run, in comfort.Thanks Gene for making this purchase a nice experience. No pressure, just details (which we want). Just so you know, Graham and Angelo have been very accommodating and helpful. Thanks guys!Time to ride!

I have bought three accords from Davenport/Gene Langley. He is my go-to guy for my next car whenever that may occur. The service department is so awesome they are off the chart. The dealership building is very open and beautiful. There are two televisions in the Honda dealership. I love my experience with Davenport every time I am there.

I am a first time Honda owner and truly love my 2018 CRV. Gene Langley was so kind in explaining things about the car. You see we haven't bought a car in 15 years and a lot has changed with new cars now. The dealership was very clean and everyone was so professional and kind. I would highly recommend you putting them in your search for your next car. And, lets not for forget the really wonderful service bay you drive into for service and then step out of your car. No matter the weather, you drive inside and get out. I've always had to find a park and go wait in line to check my car in to be serviced. For YEARS I have been looking for a 1968 Pontiac Firebird for my dad. For a long time, I had given up because you just can't find them. I decided I would try one more time and found one here at Davenport with a great story. To make things better, the car was nearly identical to the one my dad had in 1968. The price of the Firebird was right where it should be. Upon arrival at Davenport, I was pleasantly greeted at the door. Everyone I met and spoke to, from the wonderful salespeople to the sales manager to finance manager was absolutely great! Everyone is so friendly it feels like family. They all make you feel at home. By far, the BEST car buying experience I've ever had. If I'm being completely honest, I kind of hated to leave. I could've stayed, if for no other reason, just to talk to everyone longer. I especially would like to thank Charlene. She is, without a doubt, the best salesperson I've ever worked with. She made everything painless and helped me with everything I needed to do. If you are in the market for a vehicle, I highly recommend going to Davenport AutoPark. You will not regret it. Thanks to everyone at Davenport! It was a great pleasure to meet and speak with all of you!

I have dealt with Gene Langley for 28 years. He is one of the finest and honest people you have ever met . My wife and I recently bought a 2017 CRV Touring Edition. We took it to the mountains this past weekend. We traveled a total of 600 miles on interstates, mountain highways, and to the top of Grandfather Mountain. I could not believe that we averaged 35.1 miles per gallon. This car is one of the nicest, most comfortable cars to drive. It has so many safety features that my auto insurance even decreased. If you are in the market for this size car, look no further. If it is a smaller car you are looking for, I am now driving my second Honda Fit. Love it! I recently sent Gene a picture of my dashboard showing I was 50 miles to the gallon. Whatever you are in the market for make sure you deal with Mr. Gene. You will enjoy your car buying experience.

I m grateful for Charlene and Jared, my sales reps at Davenport. After receiving the run around from other dealerships, they assured me that coming in will be worth it and it was. I was able to trade in my 2012 Crosstour for a new HR-V. They quickly handled everything and offered to let me leave with my new vehicle the same day! If you need a new or pre-owned car please go see Jared and tell him I sent you :-)

This review is long overdue. My wife purchased a new 2018 Honda Pilot EX L with Navigation in late July and I purchased a new 2018 GMC Sierra SLT Crew Cab Z71/4x4 in early August from Davenport Autopark. We dealt with Gene Langley in Sales and with Will Viverette who is the General Manager for Davenport Autopark with both purchases. I have previously purchased several new vehicles from Davenport since 1998. I took a Hiatus in 2014 from Davenport after a very unfortunate Management change. I have a long term relationship with Will. After I was made aware that Will was back and was now the General Manager I called Will to set up an appointment for my wife and I to visit and test drive different Honda Automobiles. We were extremely fortunate to meet Gene Langley during this visit. Gene showed us the different Honda Automobiles and all the features of each. Gene was extremely professional, informative, patient and best of all never demonstrated the least bit of pressure. My wife made the decision to purchase the 2018 Honda Pilot. I came back two weeks later and purchased the 2018 GMC Sierra. The bottom line is that when you deal with Will and Gene there is never any pressure or negotiating games. You are treated as Friends and Family which is extremely rare this day and time. Their Dealership For Life term is the real deal when doing business with Will and Gene. My wife and I are now back as very satisfied and loyal customers. I highly encourage anyone that is in the market to purchase a vehicle to please save yourself valuable time and go visit Gene Langley and Will Viverette. The Nelson family is beyond extremely fortunate to have these two Gentlemen to take care of Business!!!

I did not have a good experience with the service department even though the last 2 cars I bought have come from there. First I was told that the rear door glass problem on my 10 year old Envoy couldn't be fixed because they could not get parts or service data on my vehicle. Then the service manager got involved and said that he would personally find the parts. They got it fixed but it took several weeks from that point. I had asked for an estimate and was told it would be $1100 to $1200. When i picked it up they said it was $1700.

We had car trouble while traveling. Becky helped made sure we were helped. They stayed after hours to make sure our problem was fixed. Wes and his team were great. Really above and beyond. Pretty sure it was even his day off. I would definitely recommend.
