Y'all if you're looking a reliable, affordable, & family owned mechanic shop that has excellent customer service and professional mechanics who know what they are doing, well look no further!!! Bottom's Tire & Automative Center is the place to go for all your mechanical needs!! I leave all my car needs to the hands of these men and women and wouldn't trade their friendly services for anything!! I always know I am going to get the best service I can, best maintenance I can receive for the most affordable cost out there, as well as any road side service/pick up needed!!! These folks are amazing!! Go check them out!!!

I have chose Bottoms because Glen has always kept our vehicles in good running condition for the past 20 years. All my vehicles are older, from 1969, 1994, 2003, 2009 and 2011.Bottoms have the experience to handle just about anything or refer.

I ve been doing business with them for quite some time. I know they have gone beyond the call of duty to assist me with my vehicles.One thing for sure I can say about them is they stand behind their work and they are a pleasure to work with.I highly recommend this shop!!

I brought my 2001 Ford Taurus to them to fix a power steering leak. I was told it was the rack & pinion so after about a $1000 repair, I took it home to find that I had a power steering leak. I took the car back to them and they said it now was a high pressure hose and want another $400+ to replace it. My issue is that I took it to them to fix a leak, it's still leaking, and they want to say it's another part which they had in their hands the first time? I'm not understanding why it wasn't fixed the first time and they want to charge for more labor instead of admitting they may have caused another issue. Since they don't want to fix it right and not discuss this issue, I'll find a more honest mechanic somewhere else. Sorry I can't leave less than 1 star.I'll admit they did get back and offered me to pay for the cost of the part and half the labor cost but it was too little, too late. Looking at the part that needs to be replaced, it looks like it would take longer to get it in the shop and in position than to change this two connection hose. My whole issue is that this should have been driven and found the first visit and not double charge me for parts and labor, especially when one of these connections was already off for the rack & pinion replacement. I understand this is a business and they need to make money but not in double charging a customer. I can only imagine how much they would charge someone that doesn't know any better. It'll take more than charging me half the labor for them to earn my business back. The last thing I'll say is please beware of what you need done and be very specific when you're there or be prepared to give them a blank check. I hate to call them out because they are reputed to be honest in our community but I don't believe they did me right and this whole issue doesn't feel honest to me.

I took my car to Bottoms due to the recommendations on how well their work is. My car was in the shop for over a week. The estimate was 1,000. I ended up with a $1,900 bill. Less than 6 weeks after the repairs I began to have smell Gas and my gas mileage was out. I found out there was an issue with the exhaust and it needed to be welded. I had to take my car to the Muffler shop to spend and additional $180. While the Muffler mechanic had my car up to be fixed on, I was show there was a bolt missing on the sub frame. Bottoms took the sub frame off to fix the motor mount. No problems there by how and why was a major bolt missed!!! It just goes to show having a car for over a week means nothing. I am from Texas and I've been living in Rocky Mount for the past year. It just seem here in this city, when you are from out of town,not from here, you are seen and treated as a dollar sign or as someone to be mistreated. No!!! I refused to have Bottoms touch my car ever again! He wanted to charge me $544 for a part with free labor. It seems the price of the "part" also included the "free labor"! I am so disappointed. This could have caused my entire motor to FALL out of my car!! I chose to pay someone else to tighten the bolt which was left rolling around under the hood with my engine. I would not leave a car here overnight! I am upset! Shame on you for treating people like this!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Oil change

If I could give them 100 stars I truly would!!! I had been having issues with my truck and I was so frustrated so my boyfriend had dealt with them in the pass so he suggested to me that he pull my truck to the shop for a diagnostic and the next day they call him to let him know that they found the issue!!! They had my truck fixed within 2 days!!! They truly have me as a new customer!!! I truly thank them with much gratitude and would suggested and advise anyone who has car issues to go to Bottoms!!!

Great service in a timely manor. The price was great. People were very polite and knowledgeable. This place is a gem! I had a cold air intake put on my Camaro SS and louvers on the back window. Thumbs up to Bottoms Automotive.

BROOOOO, THIS IS THE BEST SHOP IN ROCKY MOUNT. Power steering went out on my 2013 Chrysler 300C was thinking it was the power steering pump but took it to the shop to confirm. Glad I did, found out it was fuse. Saved me $500. Great car shop.

Lori skinner: My son was in Rocky Mount and his Tahoe broke down I contacted Bottoms Tire they were quick to respond picked the truck up took to their shop very professional and accessed the problem I a timely manner I highly recommend them!

I have had two different cars I. For diagnosis and repair with Bottoms and everyone there has been kind, patient and very honest. Glenn has taken extra time several times to explain things to me and help me. They are truly honest people who do high quality work. I am someone who knows nothing about cars and is on a very tight budget and they have been wonderful. It is rare to find this in business nowadays. Thank you !

I recently was traveling near Rocky Mount and unfortunately my truck lost ALL power and I was stranded on the side of the road. I was also hauling my boat so I was not in the best situation especially being 2.5 hours from home. I was towed to Bottoms tire where I met Glen and his staff. These people are the BEST I have ever been around. They were completely understanding and compassionate for me and my unfortunate situation. They offered sound advice and never tried to push anything on me even though I was from out of town. They towed my truck and boat back to my hometown at a very reasonable price and I continued on with my fishing trip. They handled everything and I never worried about my vehicle or boat as I knew it was in good hands. I am so grateful for them. These are some of the finest folk you will ever meet. Completely honest, friendly, and trustworthy, Thank you so much!!!! It was my pleasure!!!

I use Bottoms whenever I need repair work done. They are honest and very helpful. Mr. Glenn quoted me a price of almost $1400 one time and when I went to pick up, the bill came to around $600. He told me that he thought there was work he was going to have to do but ended up not having to. They could have easily lied and got extra money out of it but instead fixed my problem for a lot less! 5 stars all day

Was on my way to Plymouth NC with boat in tow and u guessed it my trailer tire blew out. Put on spare and stopped at Bottoms and within the hour was back on the road with 2 new Carlise radial tires! Great service Great people. Glen is the only person that sets my alignment perfectly the first time. Highly recommended!

Our first time having vehicle repairs since moving from Raleigh. In Raleigh, I had used the same mechanic since 2005. The service was just as good at Bottoms so we will be returning customers. My A.C. works again. Everyone was friendly and courteous.

My car had several issues (wheel work, running loudly) but Glen explained each one & what he did to resolve it. Very reasonably priced and very professional. I don t plan on taking my vehicle anywhere else to be serviced.

I recommend Bottoms to my family, friends, in fact, everyone I know. Glenn is hard-working, honest, knows a tremendous amount about cars, and is always fair in his pricing. Wanda, in the front office, is incredibly efficient, friendly, and always keeps things straight. I NEVER have to think about where I'm taking my cars when I have a problem! These days, it's not easy to find a car repair shop that you feel is actually out there to help you, but Bottoms does it right!

I was a new customer and was referred buy someone else. It took them 4 days just to tell me what was wrong with my car, then when I went to pick my car up the red head lady was rude. Then when I got the car I realized that my driver door was sitting up it looked like someone tried to pry in my car like they locked my keys in the car thats why my keys were hanging in the door when I picked it up. I will not recommended this place. And they a very pricey!!!

Glenn at Bottoms Tire Auto is a professional.He called me back and came out for our family within 20 minutes.Now that's GOOD service in the auto biz! I was visiting family and a colleague from N.Y.C. who is now in a great part of Rocky Mount,NC near Rocky Mount H.S., and he came right out, i did not have 2 wait a WHOLE hour or 2. I appreciate it as my family. I was quoted the area we are in, and were practically stranded, needed a jump.Our area, he charge only 30 and we will utilize him again if ever we visit again and are in need of a jump start.Thanks GLENN.From:The Harris Family.

Needed inspections for two cars recently. Also husband needed half shaft for his car and I needed tires for CRV. Very pleased with price, service and work done in timely manner. As always Wanda was doing a great job. Definitely recommend Bottoms Tire.

Broke down half way between NY and Florida. Was lucky enough to find Bottoms Tire and Auto... They had my water pump replaced and timing belt changed by the time I had to come back through town, at a very reasonable price. My car made the 8 hour journey home with no problems. Thanks Bottoms.
